« I visited this hotel with my family, and surprisingly, only our group was there. I had booked a room with fullboard meals, but I was disappointed to find that the buffet line was different from other hotels I’ve stayed in. Instead of having a variety of meals, they only served one set per person. This was not enough for my family. »

« Check-in was very smooth. In fact, they allowed us to check in earlier - about 1 to 2 hours earlier, I think. The room was already ready, so they allocated it to us when we arrived. The room itself was rather small but functional and clean, so we don’t really have any complaints other than it being a bit small. I guess this is Japanese standards. The pricing is fairly more expensive than the inns across the road, perhaps because of the location and also because it is very new. The property itself has a very nice onsen. The female onsen had a lot of apples floating in it, which was a very nice touch to showcase Aomori apples. The front desk staff are very nice and very friendly. They also have staff who can speak Chinese. Not that I am Chinese, but I can speak some Chinese better than Japanese, which I can’t speak at all. Nevertheless, the staff could converse in English, or at least some basic English. There’s free yoga and some classes, but we didn’t utilise them as it’s not really useful for tourists who would rather spend time outside the hotel. This seems more suited for locals who want a short getaway, but still a very lovely touch. Breakfast is paid separately and does not come with the room, so there is no comment on that. The property provides Nespresso capsules in the room, and there is also a better Nespresso machine near the check-in counter. I also love that they provide water for free without having to pay extra. The lounge is available for everybody and overlooks the bridge. They provide some free snacks and drinks depending on the timing - different items in the morning and in the evening. That being said, there is no alcohol being served. Also, the coffee there is very bad. I don’t understand why they don’t put the Nespresso machine in the lounge since they have one at the lobby. Overall, everything was quite perfect for this hotel. In fact, the location was the most perfect part. Once you exit the train station, you enter an elevator that goes up to the hotel. Since it was winter, I was afraid I would need to drag my bags for a long time, but it’s right outside the exit after you tap your card and turn left. If I remember correctly, the elevator is right there and there is no need to go outside at all. However, there are only two elevators servicing the entire building, so there might be some waiting time. I would advise leaving earlier if you have a train to catch. The only reason this is not a full-star review is because I requested about a one-hour late checkout due to our train time, and they told us we needed to pay - if I remember correctly, ¥2,000 per hour. I felt they were very rigid about the 11 am checkout time. To be honest, even if they had given it to us, we probably wouldn’t have used it anyway, as we later decided to change our train time to leave Aomori, since there isn’t much to do here. Still, the rejection and inflexibility made us feel very uneasy and unwelcome. I think they could have handled this better by being less rigid and more human. So that’s minus points from us. After all, this is part of hospitality, and it doesn’t hurt. »

« À 2 minutes à pied du JR Hirosaki, en face de l'ART Hirosaki City Hotel. Visitez le château de Hirosaki, le château de Tsugaru et observez le mont. Wakaki depuis la tribune devant le château. Très agréable. Il existe de nombreux types de petit-déjeuner, japonais et occidentaux. Octobre est la saison de la récolte des pommes. J'ai acheté 6 pommes pour 300 yens🍎, super visa ! ! ! Il y a une navette pour la montagne Shirakami à la porte et le transport est très pratique. »

« Nous avons séjourné ici en famille à trois. L'hôtel offrait un service, un accueil et des chambres excellents ; nous y retournerions avec plaisir. Le plus pour nos enfants a été le service robotisé. Lorsque nous avons appelé la réception pour demander des pyjamas pour enfants, un robot nous a aidés à les apporter, ainsi que leurs produits de toilette, dans notre chambre. Nos enfants étaient ravis et nous en avons souvent parlé pendant notre voyage. En entrant dans la chambre, nous avons découvert un espace très spacieux sur la droite, avec un espace pour s'asseoir pour se changer et pour déposer valises et autres bagages. Une porte coulissante séparait également la chambre. Deux types d'oreillers étaient disponibles : moelleux et fermes, pour un sommeil très confortable. Nous avons également profité du buffet du matin, délicieux et varié. La vue depuis notre chambre était également magnifique ; c'est donc un hôtel où nous retournerions avec plaisir. Ce qui m'a le plus surpris, c'est la large gamme de produits proposés, dont plusieurs variétés de thé et de café, ainsi qu'un rasoir, des brosses à dents, un nettoyant, un gel douche, une lotion, du lait, un masque et des sels de bain moussants. Il y a aussi des sanctuaires, des boutiques intéressantes et un cinéma à proximité de l'hôtel ; c'était donc agréable de se lever tôt le matin et de se promener dans les rues. J'ai pris un taxi depuis les gares d'Aomori et de Shin-Aomori, et la course ne m'a coûté qu'environ 2 000 yens. Le personnel de l'hôtel était également très courtois et m'a très bien accueilli. »

« 外観は古臭いなと思ってましたが、中に入ると古いホテルながら広々としてキレイです。 お風呂は広くはないけど、リニューアルされてて清潔です。朝ご飯は高いかなと思いましたが、満足しました。八戸中心街の中では安く泊まれるし、ありがたい存在ですね。 »

« Mainly stayed here for ski in ski out convenience to Aomori Spring Ski Resort. Hotel rooms are sizeable for Japan standards. Got the full room and board with 2 meals provided, and buffet selection was decent variety. Lunch options there are limited choices but food is decent. There is also an onsen which was nice. »

L'emplacement est également pratique. Lorsque vous sortez de l'hôtel, tournez à droite et marchez 2 minutes jusqu'au magasin spécialisé Aomori. Tournez à gauche vers la rue commerçante principale. Il se trouve à 10 minutes à pied de la gare JR. Le petit déjeuner est copieux et les pommes sont très délicieuses. »

« We were two people. The room we stayed at was not big. If you have two suitcases it will be hard to open up both of them at the same time. We didn’t have suitcases, and therefore the space was not a problem for us. The staff were very friendly, polite and helpful. I lost my gloves at a bus, and they helped me to get them back. You also got apple juice as a welcome drink at the front desk (very nice apple juice!). We used baggage storage after checking out, which was no problem. The room was very clean. When we were there they had an eco plan, which was that the room got cleaned only once at our 4 night stay, but could get towels whenever we wanted. We though it was good from the environment perspective (but we decided to not have any cleaning at all). Overall I though our stay at this hotel was very good. »
