Hotel overall facilities are dated but functional. Room noise insulation is poor. My room is located next to the lift, I can hear every guest exiting/entering the lift, not to mention traffic outside the hotel. Breakfast is decent. Overall great location, close proximity to Amman citadel. One major incident I experienced: My reservation is on 29/12-30/12. I arrived at the hotel around 9pm, after a five-hour drive in adverse weather, only to be told by Laith the front desk manager there was no record of my reservation and requested me to contact Trip.com to resolve. He showed me a different booking with my name made by Trip supplier Travco on 29/11-30/11. This is an obvious typo by Travco. The email communication is between Travco and Hotel Toledo. Shouldn’t the front desk contact Travco directly to resolve the issue instead of asking the customer to contact Trip? I understand the work flow is customer ＞ Trip ＞ Travco ＞ Hotel Toledo. Asking the customer to contact Trip is going in circles and not the most efficient since mistake is by supplier Travco. Initially, Laith refused to accept it’s a typo and insisted the person with the same name as me has checked in on 29/11-30/11. Despite the circumstances and the obvious inconvenience, Laith chose to rigidly hide behind hotel policy, I was not allowed to check in unless I pay a deposit of 60 JD. I refused as I had already fully paid for the room. I was kept waiting at the reception for 1.5 hours while Laith reviewed the issue, which was eventually confirmed to be a typo made by the third-party agent Travco. Also Laith confirmed that 29/11-30/11 was a no show. An hour ago he mentioned the person has checked in on the above date was a lie. The mounting frustration was too much for me to bear. Yes, I raised my voice and created a scene. I mentioned from the start and repeated 5 times it’s a typo by Travco. Laith took 1.5 hour to accept. The final straw is audible verbal profanity from Laith himself (To Laith: I did not audibly mention profanity, it was up to what you interpret from my mouth). Laith threaten to call the police, citing I was creating a scene in the hotel. This behavior was unprofessional, unnecessarily confrontational, and unacceptable in a hospitality setting. It demonstrated a total lack of customer care. This is not a government office, Laith could have taken a softer approach to allow the guest to check in, while he proactively resolve with Travco, not asking guest to call Travco! Not debating about typo with guest! My reservation was fully paid and non-refundable, yet I was left standing at the reception for 1.5 hours due to errors made by Travco and decisions taken by Laith. The situation was mishandled from start to finish, and my frustration was a result of being forced to endure an unnecessary and avoidable ordeal. This was hospitality at its worst.

An overall enjoyable stay at the Ritz-Carlton Amman, but there’s certainly room for improvement. Pros: - Rooms are enormous, and incredibly comfortable, with a good modern TV that allows streaming from your phone and a lovely rain shower. This really is the major highlight. - Legend’s bar is very fun. Cocktails may be a bit lacklustre, but the massive screens, live music, and golf and racing simulators more than make it a great bar. - The Lebanese restaurant was delicious, and definitely a great choice for dinner. - Breakfast when available is very solid but not amazing (see the cons for more info). - Hotel location is far from downtown, but next to all the other major hotels with good access to restaurants. - Staff are courteous and helpful for the most part. Cons: - The breakfast restaurant is far too small for the size of the hotel. I had breakfast paid for, but missed it twice due to the restaurant being full. This really needs to be amended because the hotel itself was not even full. If you cannot attend the capacity of your hotel, this is a deep issue. Breakfast was solid, but still it was small compared to other 5 star establishments. - New Year’s Eve was due to be the highlight of our stay, but we were left massively underwhelmed. We booked a table at Roberto’s, but despite being seated by 22:20, it took until 23:00 to get our appetisers, and we had not even had our main courses by the time the New Year came. This is unacceptable. - A small but necessary point, in general the cleaning was fine, but one day we returned to the hotel at 16:40 to find we still had not had our room made up. We had to request this. I expect far more from a 5 star establishment, and the fact that I’m not sure we would have received a cleaning without our request is concerning. Overall, I’m happy with my stay. I still think the Ritz-Carlton Amman is probably the best hotel choice in Amman, but it leaves a lot to be desired. My review and rating reflects how I feel based on competing hotels in the area.

Great location, but well below Hilton standards I stayed at Hilton Amman for two nights with my friend, and while the hotel has potential, the overall experience fell short of what I expect from the Hilton brand. Location: The property is in a nice, more upscale area of Amman — convenient and pleasant, with several hotels around. The check-in process was smooth even though we arrived very late (around 2 AM), which I appreciated. Room & Amenities: Unfortunately, the in-room experience was disappointing. Upon arrival, we realized there were no toothbrushes provided — something quite basic for a five-star hotel. We called to request them, and it took a long time before they arrived. When they finally did, only one toothbrush was brought, even though we clearly asked for two. It may seem minor, but after a long day of travel and checking in so late, it was inconvenient and left a poor first impression. The Wi-Fi connection was extremely weak throughout the stay — to the point that we couldn’t rely on it and had to use our mobile data instead. One of the power sockets near the TV wasn’t working, and the doors and fittings looked quite old and worn, giving the room a tired appearance that doesn’t reflect Hilton’s usual standard. Overall impression: Hilton is known for consistency, comfort, and attention to detail — qualities I unfortunately didn’t experience here. The location is a plus, but when basic amenities, Wi-Fi, and room maintenance are overlooked, it affects the entire stay. Would I stay again? Probably not. I would consider trying another Hilton brand in Amman, such as Signia or DoubleTree, or perhaps explore another hotel altogether.

Great stay with excellent service I recently stayed at the Mövenpick Hotel Amman and was thoroughly impressed with the level of service and overall experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff were welcoming, attentive and always ready to help with a smile. The reception team were efficient at both check-in and check-out, making the whole process smooth and hassle-free. The room was well-appointed, clean and comfortable, offering a great blend of modern amenities and a relaxing ambience. I particularly appreciated the quality of the bedding, which ensured a restful night's sleep. The housekeeping team did an exceptional job of maintaining the room throughout my stay. Dining at the hotel was also a pleasant experience. The breakfast buffet offered a wide selection of international and local dishes, all freshly prepared and beautifully presented. The restaurant staff were courteous and attentive, making the dining experience even more enjoyable. The hotel's location is another strong point - convenient for both business and leisure travellers. In addition, the facilities, including the fitness centre and swimming pool, were well maintained and added to the overall positive experience. Overall, the Mövenpick Hotel Amman is an excellent choice for anyone visiting the city. With its exceptional service, comfortable accommodation and convenient location, it certainly lives up to the Mövenpick standard. I would be happy to stay here again and recommend it to others.

Nous avons réservé cet hôtel pour un séjour agréable et relaxant pour notre dernière nuit à Amman et cela en valait vraiment la peine. Après la sécurité à la réception, nous avons senti que tout le personnel que nous avons rencontré allait au-delà de nos attentes. Ce qui est bizarre à propos de l'enregistrement, c'est qu'ils nous ont demandé d'écrire nos noms et une chose que nous avons aimée : j'ai écrit du fromage et ma femme a écrit des oreillers confortables et quand nous sommes rentrés dans notre chambre après notre visite à Amman, il y avait un plateau de fromages. et un oreiller très confortable pour ma femme. Nous avons passé beaucoup de temps au bord de la piscine sur les grandes banquettes-lits. Nous avons également passé du temps dans l'espace spa où vous pourrez utiliser les jacuzzis et les hammams. Ils ont également de très belles et grandes douches dans les vestiaires du spa. La salle de sport de l'hôtel dispose également de nouveaux équipements intéressants. Les chambres étaient joliment aménagées avec des lits très confortables, une insonorisation, des placards cachés, un mini-réfrigérateur sympa, des connexions technologiques et une télévision sur laquelle vous pouvez diffuser du contenu, entre autres fonctionnalités. Nous avons passé une bonne nuit de sommeil ici. La nourriture à l'hôtel est plutôt bonne et il existe de nombreuses options saines. Nous avons apprécié la soupe aux lentilles qui était servie avec une montagne de choix de pains pour le service en chambre. Nous avons également trouvé de nombreuses bonnes options au petit-déjeuner, notamment des eaux détox, toutes sortes de jus de fruits, une bonne sélection de plats chauds au buffet et tout le reste. Ce fut un excellent séjour et nous le recommandons si vous avez envie de faire des folies !

Right from check-in, the staff made me feel welcome with their signature warm chocolate chip cookie 🍪 — such a simple touch, but it set the tone for a great stay. 🛏️ The room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable, with everything I needed for a relaxing stay. The bed was especially cozy after a long day, and the overall atmosphere was quiet and restful. 🍽️ I had the chance to try the breakfast buffet, which offered a wide variety of local and international choices. Fresh, flavorful, and plenty of options to start the day right. 📍 The location is convenient — close to restaurants, shops, and a good base to explore Amman. Most importantly, the hospitality of the staff stood out. This is a great budget hotel suite, fantastic location and a massive room with fridge TV and air conditioning including tea and coffee making facilities. The staff were friendly and at a very reasonable price. The hotel suite deserves a 5* rating because of the location which is close to all the amenities however the bathroom room was of poor standard and a lot of insects were flying around especially in the bathroom. The drains needed sorting out as on one night the smell was very strong at about 1am in the morning. This hotel claims to be wheelchair friendly but unfortunately it's only wheelchair friendly if you are not travelling alone. I phoned the hotel on two occasions before arriving to inquire about facilities for wheelchair users and was told I can enter the hotel via a ramp used for luggage but unfortunately the ramp was very steep although they did offer to help me when needed. I also wasn't informed that the dining room was not accessible although there was a lift to the bedroom. They were kind enough to bring the breakfast to my room although it was tasteless. There was a ladies long hair on the bedsheet and the cleaning of the room could be improved. I do hope the management will take my advice and publish the correct information regarding facilities for wheelchair users especially for those who are traveling on their own like myself.

Уютный отель,чистый хороший номер .европейский вид завтрака , так же есть что то из местной кухни,повар сделает вам омлет по вашим предпочтениям .доброжелательный персонал . Всё понравилось . Расположение не сильно имело значение ,так как всего два дня были в отеле ,перед полётом домой.

The location is a standout feature, situated conveniently near major attractions and amenities, making it easy to explore the city. The cleanliness of the hotel was impressive. My room was spotless upon arrival, and the housekeeping staff maintained high standards throughout my stay. It’s always reassuring to see such attention to detail, especially in common areas. The service was another highlight. The staff were friendly and accommodating, eager to assist with any requests. Their hospitality contributed significantly to a comfortable stay. As for the facilities, while they may not be the most luxurious, they were adequate for a hotel of this category. Basic amenities were well-maintained, and I appreciated the availability of essential services. In summary, Conroy Hotel offers a good balance of location, cleanliness, and service, making it a solid choice for travelers looking for comfort without breaking the bank. I would recommend it to anyone visiting Amman!
