Wonder stay! The room is very clean and the staff is super friendly! This is a family run hotel, and they are nice people. The location is perfect-short walk to the lake and away from the hustle and bustle of the main road and town. We got good sleep in Aden .

The room was small being disappointing from other good IBIS Hotels have had bigger. In this case the ceiling had mould which is not good at all being left there. I should have asked to change rooms but stayed in it with little window viewing as well along with ventilation. The hallway stinks of cooked Indian food they need to put in air fresheners to take that bad ordour away. The staff were friendly and amenities were very plentiful. Suggest to have bigger bowls and cups being very little to eat from. Car parking is a problem at this place either on the street paying for it from 8:00am to 5:00pm or over in a mall car park for $10.00 a night. So factor that in if staying here. Better to get a place that provides it as it was a hassle to be up at 8:00am to go downstairs and pay for this each morning. Overall for money and value feel could have done better else where.

Il n'y a pas d'élévateurs dans les États-Unis, il faut que la mère de la réception se mette au deuxième étage pour se rendre au niveau de ses bagages. En outre, la chambre n'a pas de climatisation, mais c'est en février, et la température est acceptable.

Overall, this accommodation was excellent and exceeded our expectations. The unit was very spacious, well-maintained, and spotlessly clean upon arrival, which immediately made us feel comfortable and at ease. The layout was practical and suitable for both short and longer stays, with ample space to move around and relax. One of the biggest advantages was how easy the place was to locate. Clear directions and a convenient location made check-in smooth and stress-free, especially after a long journey. The surrounding area was also quiet and pleasant, allowing for a restful stay. Cleanliness was clearly a priority, from the rooms to the common areas, which we truly appreciated. Overall, this accommodation offers great comfort, convenience, and value. We would definitely recommend it to others and would not hesitate to stay here again in the future.

Les détails du type de chambre indiquaient que les enfants étaient les bienvenus, mais à notre arrivée, on nous a dit que si vous ajoutez un enfant, vous ne pourrez pas réserver la chambre (car l'enfant n'a pas besoin d'un lit d'appoint pour dormir au milieu, donc seulement 2 personnes). des adultes ont été ajoutés lors de la réservation) et nous devons annuler notre réservation. Il a déclaré que l'hôtel ne voulait pas avoir autant de clients, mais a également déclaré que la loi ne le permettait pas. En conséquence, ils nous ont demandé de payer 30 $ de plus et nous ont donné les clés. À l'origine, un supplément de 30 $ pour les enfants avait été ajouté (ce serait tout à fait compréhensible si nous le disions directement), ce qui nous a donné l'impression que cet hôtel est phobique envers les enfants et discrimine les Asiatiques. Mais à cause de la mauvaise expérience d'enregistrement, j'ai complètement perdu l'envie de profiter du magnifique paysage. Les négociations pour annuler le séjour se sont déroulées toute la soirée en vain. Le manager a eu une attitude dure et ne s'est jamais excusé du début à la fin, ce qui a gâché la bonne humeur de toute la journée.

Outstanding accomodation at the bottom of the South. The rooms were warm, fresh and relaxing. We used the valet parking which was fairly priced and the car was parked up safe over night. The hotel offers plenty of options for dining and beverages, that provides you with plenty options on a cold wet night. I’m looking forward to our next visit.

One of the best places we stayed in south island NZ. Firstly the staffs at the receptions are so welcoming, they're one of the highlights of this accommodation. The 2BR room was spacious, clean, modern and located right beside the lake. They're also a short walk away from the supermarket and glowworm office. Absolutely beautiful place! We highly recommend this place to everyone looking for a place in Te Anau.

Please inform customers before you change the rooms for them. I had booked mine for the bath, then you gave me a different room on arrival, not even explaining why you had to change the rooms. So I had to see staff at the reception again after checking to sort it out. In the end, i got the room with the bath.I am sorry to say that your place smelt musty that is not right for accommodation for the health and safety reasons. I have also found mould in the bathroom you might want to look at. Hope all gets sorted soon. Thanks. Best.

I would have given this a 5-star rating. However, I deducted one star due to staff behaviour and a fire alarm that went off at 5:00 a.m., requiring guests to evacuate the hotel. Additionally, the staff could benefit from some customer service training, particularly in showing warmth and empathy toward guests. When we visited the front desk at 12:30 p.m. to enquire about an early check-in, the staff member was not at all understanding or accommodating. She bluntly say “No” and kept looking at her monitor without any reason.

We had a great stay at Kingsgate hotel in Te anau. We were greeted with cheerful manager and check-in was smooth. The location is great as it is right opposite lake and it is about 2.5 hrs from Milford sound. The room was spacious and nice. Did not get to try their dinner or breakfast. Would have preferred if the bathroom had some ventilation as it could smell for some time. Would definitely stay there again in future.
