Exquisite location with such friendly staff that stand at the ready to help and cater to every whim. Booking a regular room is recommended as the larger room has a door which borders the main guest area. As such, it is extremely noisy. This room also looks out on the main patio with no inner curtains with the result that there’s no privacy. A regular room offers the same level of comfort, but with added privacy on the deck area and its further away from the main guest area which offers peace and quiet. All rooms look out onto a beautiful valley with proverbial four poster beds shaped as elephant tusks. The only negative were the old, lumpy pillows, which need urgent replacement. The chef cooks traditional African meals which were delicious, but for this type of venue, needs perhaps a bit more finesse in terms of having better options for a continental breakfast and enquiring with guests as to how they would prefer their meat cooked beforehand. A word of warning to coffee lovers, there’s only instant coffee, so better go and enjoy the hospitality armed with your own!

the Location was great and the restaurant staff were friendly and provided us good service, which is unfortunately the two positive parts of our stay. when we arrive, the reception experience was very poor. No Information was given about the lodge or breakfast until I asked, and we were not even accompanied to our room. The condition of the room was disappointing. The shower and floors were dirty to the point where you could not shower without wearing flip flops. Housekeeping was also below standard. During our 2-night stay, the room was not properly cleaned, the bins were not emptied, dishes were not washed properly and both the bathroom and floors remained dirty. Only the beds were made. This was a very disappointing experience.

We celebrated our 2-years anniversary at Sausage Tree and we truly enjoyed every bits of it from all the thrills of game drives, to connecting with the nature, to enjoying the peace and breeze, to learn about South Africa’s culture, to making new friends and to being pampered very well by their fantastic hospitality! So lucky of us to catch all Big 5 on the morning of our anniversary and with an Elephant appearing right in front of my doorstep at night! It makes the whole trip so much memorable! C'est la première étape de notre voyage en Afrique du Sud, et il est encore très méprisable de se rappeler. C'est un hôtel de ce genre à Kruger, vraiment plus que prévu. Au début, je pensais que l'image de l'hôtel était très belle. Je ne pensais pas que la position était superbe. Je peux souvent voir les petits animaux marcher lentement dehors de la cage. L'expérience est très spéciale. (Comfortablement oublié de prendre plus de photos hahaha) Le petit déjeuner et le dîner sont très délicieux, la nourriture est soigneuse, complètement inconfortable. Les employés ont également une attitude très amicale et honnête, qui donne le sentiment qu'ils sont pris en charge plutôt que servis. Le propriétaire de l'hôtel nous a donné beaucoup de conseils pratiques et décisifs, qui sont très utiles pour le voyage. Le prix global est également très raisonnable et le rapport coût-efficacité est très élevé. C'est là où on voudra retourner, très recommandé ! !

The hotel has beautiful grounds and super friendly staff, especially in the restaurant. Stayed in an executive room which was clean with a four poster bed. The AC in winter time was a welcome addition and the fact that it was switched on before I checked in was thoughtful. In general, these rooms could do with a bit of general maintenance - ceilings look old and worn and it was really difficult to open and close the door. Breakfast catered to all tastes. For a stay in Modimolle, Shangri-La is a good choice.

Kingfisher Creek Safari Lodge was AMAZING! It was difficult to know where to book in this area and I couldn't have selected better. Annie is a world class host and the staff are wonderful. The lodge was clean, the amenities were top notch, the food was divine. Annie helped us book all of our activities including transfers and curated meals around our plans. The grounds are beautiful, all her products, lodging and food are high quality and I dream to return. A beautiful stay all around.

This is the perfect place for nature lovers who also want real comfort and luxury. The lodge is exquisitely decorated and it was a pleasure to sit with a coffee and watch bush bucks, warthogs, kudu and all types of birds come into the garden. Walking around the lodge I came close to giraffes, zebras and more. It was breathtaking. I stayed for 2 blissful nights and enjoyed delicious home cooked meals, a wonderfully comfortable bed and hot baths each day. I hope to come back in future!

Отелем остались довольны, персонал отзывчивый. Прекрасный завтрак с большим выбором блюд, все очень вкусно. На территории есть бассейн и шезлонги, но мы, к сожалению, ими не воспользовались, так как было не очень жарко.

Tout était à un niveau élevé. Vous devez rencontrer une très belle zone de soins. Chambres confortables où tout était nécessaire. Thé, café, eau dans un accès illimité tout le temps. La chambre coûte deux safari. Notre guide (Sydney) a essayé de nous montrer le plus possible le monde sauvage divers de l'Afrique du Sud. Je voudrais dire, merci beaucoup, à la fille de la manager qui nous a rencontrés et qui était toujours prête à répondre à nos demandes et à résoudre nos problèmes. Nous serons heureux de vous revenir parce que vous nous avez donné des impressions inoubliables!
