Le propriétaire était très accueillant et serviable, allant même jusqu'à nous proposer son aide pour nos bagages. Les installations étaient complètes, l'environnement était propre et l'emplacement, tout près de la gare, facilitait grandement les déplacements. On trouvait des restaurants proposant le petit-déjeuner au rez-de-chaussée de l'établissement, ce qui était très pratique.

C'est une nouvelle réservation, haha. Pour faire suite à mon précédent message, outre le calme des chambres, le généreux thé de l'après-midi et l'absence de toute pression commerciale pour les souvenirs ou les activités touristiques, le propriétaire est très à l'écoute des suggestions de voyage des clients. J'ai pris des photos du jardin, impressionnée par le souci du détail, même dans les endroits les moins fréquentés par les touristes. La buanderie avec lave-linge et sèche-linge offre un confort appréciable. Voici quelques clichés pris avant mon départ ; je ne suis pas montée sur le toit-terrasse pour prendre d'autres photos, mais j'ai hâte de découvrir les autres surprises que réserve son aménagement lors de ma prochaine visite.

Le service est très agréable. La femme de ménage nous aidera à porter nos bagages jusqu'à la chambre, il nous a vu nous préparer à descendre et nous a immédiatement aidé à descendre nos bagages. Les conseils sur les hôtels envoyés par WeChat sont très complets, y compris les stratégies de restauration et de voyage en ligne. L'environnement dans le magasin est très bon, il y a deux petites cours très joliment décorées. Il y a de nombreux canapés dans l'espace public, adaptés à ceux qui veulent s'allonger. Malheureusement, ce voyage a été un peu précipité. Je viens, je vais certainement m'allonger et profiter du soleil tout l'après-midi ! Peut-être à cause de la basse saison, la femme de ménage nous a surclassés gratuitement dans une chambre, qui était de quelques mètres carrés plus grande que la chambre initialement réservée. La chambre était équipée d'une maison intelligente, comprenant des rideaux électriques, des toilettes intelligentes, des canapés confortables, un excellent humidificateur, des boissons gazeuses et des tapis de toilettes. Et ainsi de suite ~ La salle de bain dispose d'une grande quantité d'eau. C'est l'installation matérielle la plus nécessaire lors d'un séjour dans un hôtel/B&B en voyage. Le petit déjeuner était copieux et généreux, mais la cuisinière nous a également dit que si ce n'était pas suffisant, nous pourrions continuer à en rajouter Hahaha, nous étions pris en charge ! Je suis arrivé tard cette fois et j'ai raté le thé de l'après-midi. Je prendrai certainement une tasse de café la prochaine fois que je viendrai !

We stayed for one night at the Garden Panorama Suite with Soaking Tub at Dali Yunying Chunxiao Shuiyuan Scenic Hotel. This is a small boutique hotel, and while there are some things worth improving, the views and overall atmosphere were truly memorable. The first thing that struck us when we arrived was the view of Erhai Lake. It was absolutely exquisite and looked almost exactly like the photos online. Every corner of the hotel was incredibly photogenic, and the whole place had a very calm, peaceful and almost surreal atmosphere. The hotel itself is quite small, with a compact lobby that also serves as the breakfast area, but the incredible lake view more than made up for the limited space. The hotel is located along a cobbled street with no direct car access. The hotel contacted us beforehand to ask about our arrival time, which was appreciated, and their staff met us to collect our luggage and transported it to the hotel by motorbike. However, we initially thought someone would escort or pick us up, but instead we were given a location to follow on foot. The route was a little confusing and we got slightly lost, particularly because the final stretch goes through a very quiet back street that doesn’t really look like it leads to a hotel. It was also raining when we arrived and when we left, so we really appreciated that the hotel lent us umbrellas. The location itself is convenient, with plenty of restaurants and shops within walking distance. However, one important point for future guests is that the streets leading back to the hotel are completely dark at night, with no street lights at all. We found this quite scary and felt it could be unsafe, especially for families with young children or anyone returning after dark. Our room had a beautiful view of Erhai Lake, but unfortunately the upkeep and cleanliness did not quite match what we expected for the price. There were quite a few dead fish and pieces of rubbish visible around the water when looking over the ledge, both from our room and from the lobby area. The balcony also had a hammock, but it did not look particularly safe to use, and there were plants growing out from the lake and into the hammock area. The room itself was also relatively small for the price, and the cleanliness could have been better. That said, there were some really lovely inclusions with our room, including afternoon tea, a photoshoot, goodnight dessert and breakfast. Breakfast was not buffet-style, but we were given a choice of mains along with some sides and a drink. The portions were on the smaller side, but everything we had was good. The photoshoot was a particularly nice touch and something we really appreciated. Three photos were included with our stay, and we actually enjoyed the experience enough to purchase additional photos beyond the included three. It was a lovely way to capture our time in Dali. We were also celebrating our child’s birthday during our stay, and the hotel went above and beyond by preparing a very cute birthday cake for him. It was such a thoughtful gesture and genuinely made the stay more special❤️ Overall, this hotel has an incredibly beautiful setting and a very unique atmosphere. The views are genuinely stunning and the photography opportunities are fantastic. The thoughtful extras, especially the photoshoot and birthday cake, were also highlights of our stay. However, for the price, we felt the room upkeep, cleanliness and accessibility could be improved, and the completely unlit walk back to the hotel at night is something future guests should be aware of. If the hotel were to improve the maintenance and cleanliness while addressing the nighttime access issue, it could be an exceptional boutique stay because the location and views are truly special.

La chambre est petite, mais elle a tout ce dont vous avez besoin. Nous avons rencontré quelques problèmes dans la salle de bains : le siège de toilette a été brisé, l'eau chaude a pris près de cinq minutes pour passer, et la douche a été partiellement clos. Mais c'est un hôtel à bon prix.

A 10 star experience From the moment I arrived, I was warmly greeted by the two Mo sisters and their adorable feline companions, Pirate (the black cat) and Sweet Tooth (the brown one). Everything about this stay—from the location and decor to the impeccable cleanliness and service—deserves 10 stars. The Mo sisters are incredibly friendly, chatty, and helpful, making the entire place feel like a beautifully maintained, quaint home. A few highlights: Thoughtful Details: The beds come equipped with heating pads for colder nights, which was such a nice touch. Amenities: I absolutely loved the peaceful courtyard and the rooftop area. Service: They are very attentive; for instance, if you need brighter reading lights, you just have to ask. The Atmosphere: The garden is lovingly cared for and adds so much to the vibe. Even as a dedicated dog lover, I have to admit that Pirate and Sweet Tooth completely won me over. If you are looking for a stay with character and heart, this is it!

Our stay here was the highlight of our trip, defined by breathtaking views, modern luxury, and unparalleled hospitality. The hotel is perfectly situated away from the hustle and bustle of the main tourist crowds. It offers a peaceful sanctuary overlooking the stunning Napa Lake, with majestic mountains framing the distance. Waking up to such a quiet, picturesque landscape was incredibly rejuvenating. That said, be mindful that this would come with a trade off in terms of convenience. The room itself was exceptional, blending modern amenities with high-end comforts. We were especially impressed by the features designed for the high-altitude environment: • High-Tech Comfort: The room included oxygen control and a humidifier, which made a massive difference in our comfort. • Entertainment & Relaxation: We loved the large projector and screen for cozy movie nights, and the deep soaking bathtub was perfect for unwinding. Exceptional Hospitality & Care What truly sets this place apart is the genuine care provided by the owner and the staff: • Warm Welcome: The owner personally fetched us on our first day, surprised us with a room upgrade, and even pre-heated the room before we arrived. • Safety & Service: He provided an oxygen canister for emergencies, giving us total peace of mind. The friendly caretaker from Dali was also wonderful, preparing delicious meals and ensuring we were well-looked after. • Local Experiences: The owner gave us expert travel tips and drove us to Pudacuo National Park at a very reasonable rate. The highlight was being invited to his thome to share Suyou (butter) tea, local bread with cheese and wild honey with his family. This was a raw experience that we found very meaningful While our stay was fantastic, there were a couple of minor maintenance points that would make the stay better: • Housekeeping: Some of the toiletries were not replenished during our two-night stay. • Bathroom Maintenance: The shower head was not fixed very securely, and there was some visible limescale. We understand this might be due to the current season and lower occupancy, but a quick fix would make the room perfect. Overall, this is a gateway to the heart of Shangri-La. Staying here really shaped our time at Shangri-la - may have enjoyed our time here as the highlight! It was perfect to relax here at the end of our Yunnan trip, away from the bustle of the ancient town. In April, the grass of Napa Hai was a bit dry with the ”lake” area being diminished, so it wasn't as pristine and picturesque as seen in some photos. I did love the expanse of the clouds in the sky though. Also, to get to nicer and more scenic spots, that required calling a Didi (which didn't take long, in spite of this place being more remote) - just something to note. When coming back from the ancient city, it does take longer (and the roads are quite dark at night), but we didn't have any problems getting back. Our favorite part was all the super friendly animals roaming around - ”Ke le” (Coke) and ”Ka fe” (Coffee) the two samoyed dogs, ”Duo duo” and ”Dou dou” the two cats. Each time, they came to greet us. On one night, Duo duo the cat followed us into our room upstairs and started taking a nap; on the second night, Ke le, the large white samoyed, came into our room and started relaxing there, happily drooling and panting all the while. During one of the mornings, we had breakfast, and both (especially Ke le) were also clustered around us. On one of the days where we were heading out, Ke le even walked all the way with us to the street entrance where we called a taxi. (Apparently Ke le often accompanies and sends guests off.) Breakfast was the familiar mi xian noodles, with some pickled vegetables available. We enjoyed the pets around us as we ate. The accommodations were also super modern and very fancy, one of the best renovated stays I've experienced. They even had a machine that would increase the oxygen flow in the evenings, an air purifier, and floor heating - the whole floor got very warm. Very comfortable beds. The shower and toilet are in separate rooms, with the sink in the middle - slightly inconvenient to change in the shower, but not a big problem. The staff was super helpful too! They came to pick us up from the train station upon arrival, and even sent us back when we were leaving around 6:30am (thanks to him for waking up so early to help us, even before the sun had risen)! It's about 10-15min away from the train station, very convenient. When we arrived, there was even a complimentary afternoon tea and snacks option, which they delivered to our room. There's also a rack of Tibetan-esque clothing you can borrow, though we opted to try some other clothes in the ancient city. It was hard to leave after the affection of the animals and how relaxing it was - wish we could've stayed longer!

A special shoutout to 阿龙 (A-Long), 李琳 (Li Lin), and the entire team. They truly go out of their way to make you feel like family rather than just a guest. Their attentive, friendly, and proactive service is the heart of this boutique stay. 🛏️ Modern Comfort Meets Tradition Our room was a dream—clean, incredibly spacious, and centered around a large window that framed the mountain views perfectly. While the aesthetic is traditional, the amenities are high-tech, ensuring a stay that is as convenient as it is comfortable. 🍎 Heartwarming Touches We happened to stay during Christmas Eve, and the staff surprised us with two beautifully wrapped Lijiang Apples (平安夜苹果) for good luck and peace. It was such a thoughtful, culturally resonant gesture that made our holiday feel so personal. ✨ All-Inclusive Ease The value here is exceptional. We loved that breakfast, afternoon tea, and even laundry services were included. What a pleasant surprise. This small boutique hotel checked all of our boxes. Comfortable room, nice breakfast, helpful staff and to top it all off the owner spoke very good English. It is located not too deep into the alleys of the ancient town, so it is easy to walk out to the main road. The ambiance was perfect with the quiet courtyard and the breakfast/tea house providing a nice respite from the crowds and busyness of the ancient town. We would definitely book again if we were to be in Lijiang.
