Disappointing Experience 🫣 I had a rather unpleasant stay at *Appartamenti Rosa Dei Venti* in Trapani. First of all, the parking situation is very misleading. It's advertised as “free parking near the property,” but in reality, you’ll be given a business card upon arrival with the name of a parking lot located 3 km away in an industrial area beyond the port. They do offer a free shuttle to and from the parking lot, but be prepared to wait. Even if you prearrange your pick-up time, you'll likely have to call and ask “Where are you?” when the time comes. As for the apartment itself — unfortunately, it was far from cozy. The building hardly gets any sunlight, so the space feels dark and chilly. I was freezing at night under a very thin blanket. The bathroom window opens into the shared stairwell, so you can hear people coming in and out, and even sounds from neighboring bathrooms — not exactly pleasant. The location is central, but that also means a lot of street noise. There’s a café just below the windows. I was lucky it was a weekday and they closed around 11 PM — but not without the clatter of dumpsters and shutters being slammed. Conversations from people downstairs are easily heard inside the room. To be fair, the apartment was clean, which is probably the only positive I can mention. In summary, if you're staying in Trapani for just a day or two, I’d recommend booking a hotel instead — something more welcoming and better managed. And unless you're traveling without a car and plan to spend all your time in the city center, this place may not be the best option. For me, it was an overall disappointing experience.

Nous avons apprécié l’hôtel et notre chambre qui était tout à fait propre et confortable pour un séjour de 3 nuits. Nous conseillons le restaurant qui était très bon. Cependant l’emplacement n’est vraiment pas adéquate pour profiter pleinement de Palerme. En effet l’hôtel est éloigné du centre et du centre historique et ça reste très compliqué d’y accéder par les transports : le tram est éloigné de l’hôtel et le bus qui est pourtant situé à côté de l’hôtel n’est absolument pas ponctuel, nous avons attendu parfois presque 1h pour en avoir un.

Posizione eccellente, struttura un po' datata negli arredi ma ancora gradevole e funzionale. Dotata di una bella piscina all'aperto che però visto il periodo non abbiamo usato.

Hôtel très propre. Très bon service. Malheureusement, les petits déjeuners laissent beaucoup à désirer. Mais la gratification est un excellent café.

Super séjour ! Tout était vraiment parfait. Nous avions une chambre avec terrasse et vue sur la mer. C'était magnifique. La chambre était très propre et les draps étaient changés tous les jours, ce qui était bien pratique avec deux chiens qui se promènent dans le lit la nuit. L'emplacement était idéal. Le centre-ville, avec ses boutiques et ses restaurants, est accessible à pied en quelques minutes. Le service de parking était excellent. Ils garent votre voiture et vous la ramènent devant l'hôtel en 15 minutes si besoin. Le service coûte 20 € par nuit, mais c'est très pratique. Le personnel est fantastique. Nous sommes arrivés vers 6 h du matin (bien plus tôt que prévu), beaucoup trop tôt pour l'heure d'arrivée habituelle. Nous étions épuisés après une nuit de route et notre chambre n'était pas encore prête. Mais le personnel a eu la gentillesse de nous prêter une chambre pour la nuit, et à 11 h, nous avons pu nous installer dans notre chambre réservée. Gratuitement ! Le petit-déjeuner était également excellent et ils proposent des paniers-repas si vous partez avant l'heure du petit-déjeuner. L'hôtel ne propose pas de service de blanchisserie, mais il y a une laverie automatique à 800 m.

L'hôtel est dans une banlieue. Mer sans possibilité de baignade, restaurants accessibles à pied. La connexion par bus peut être étendue. De la gare de Pirandelli 10 minutes à pied.

Tout était parfait sauf que le balcon donne sur la rue principale où passent les voitures la nuit et cela fait beaucoup de bruit. Il y a aussi des poubelles à proximité et cela fait un bruit fort quand ils les ouvrent à partir de 6 heures du matin. Le reste était bien : propre, belles vues, situé près du centre, bon petit déjeuner.

Hotel Vittoria is an older hotel - quite nostalgic I must say! Just look at the key of the room! Totally old style, but super cool! The staff was very welcoming and friendly and the room was big and clean and very simple. The bed was bigger than what we usually had during our Sicily trip and it was very comfy ... I'd say it reflected the size of the room ... 😂 The breakfast next morning was very nice - we had eggs, crêpes, cakes, fruits, ... a lot to choose from and again, very helpful and friendly staff. Those heads on the pictures were all on tables on the way to the dining room ... Unfortunately, I forgot to take more pictures of the hotel, but instead, I will add some pix of Trapani where in the evening we enjoyed one of the most beautiful sunsets of our trip ... And that tree! OMG! What a personality! 😍
