InvitéDouble Classic room plenty of space. Large comfortable bed. Good choice of restaurants in the hotel and lovely views across the golf course from my room. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was nice plenty of choices. I went for one night as a getaway on my own and felt comfortable and safe. Will stay again.

The hotel has a very good location, which is definitely a plus and makes it convenient for exploring the area.
However, we were disappointed by a few additional charges. Bathrobes are provided only for an extra £8, and the hotel parking is also paid, which was not very convenient and added unexpected costs to the stay.

In addition, it is a lovely venue in beautiful location and surroundings. 30 minute walk into a lively town or a 5 minute car trip.
Would highly recommend it for a romantic getaway or meet up with family/friends.
Staff were amazing.

Ian SinkambaOur room was amazing and the atmosphere was sublime. Even though there was a wedding there, we enjoyed joining in and having fun. Great staff and the location was perfect. Although we assumed it was somewhere ticked away in the countryside, we were happy in any case as the hotel was beautiful.

Used it as a base for going into sunderland to watch the rugby. Easy to find, plenty of parking and the staff were lovely, it was just grubby. very basic like a holiday inn. It was quiet and for the price it’s fine as a base that you are not going to spend a lot of time in

Location was perfect for our needs, near to beautiful Yarm! The amenities were good and a dip in the pool was perfect after a hot day! Overall cleanliness was good, just needed a few touch up here and there, tiles missing in spa area a
Nd our bathroom looked tired! Disappointed that there was no compensation for broken key card machine and we found this unnerving as it felt very ‘big brother’ being tracked on our every move! A drink at dinner, complimentary breakfasts or bar meal would have been a nice gesture!
