Staff are brilliant, friendly and helpful, nice rooms and good parking for the money compared to local ncp car parks if your staying at the hotel, opposite the beach and the views are great from the sea view rooms..

We had a wonderful 4 nights at Thurnham Hall. The person who checked us in on the Sunday was very pleasant and welcoming. We walked the grounds and they were lovely and very well looked after.The Spa and pool were excellent. Thank you for providing such a lovely hotel for us to stay at and spend time visiting with our Lancashire relatives.

The Norbrek Castle must have been lavish and upmarket in it's day but sadly looks sad and depressed now. However, we knew this when we booked and opted for it because of it's good points, the location is good with bus and tram stops outside, there is plenty of parking with an assured chance of finding a space if you take the car out and return, the room was as clean as it is possible to clean an old property with clean bedding and towels, the breakfast is basic but again satisfactory and the staff helpful and friendly. We did not, on this occasion use the pool or any of the entertainment facilities. All in all an ok choice for a couple of nights as somewhere simply to sleep

L'hôtel et l'entrée sont super, pas de plaintes là. J'ai été un ordinaire à un autre hôtel dans les 5 kilomètres de là, où les installations sont immaculées et les chambres sont toujours soigneusement propres. En marchant dans ma chambre (250), il était congelé. L'écran numérique a continué à éclaircir et à sortir, il se sentait comme si j'avais une ravage dans ma chambre. Avant le lit, j'ai fait une douche et je suis allé faire des mousses mouillées autour de vous. Je suis allé les éliminer et je peux vous dire maintenant, ils ne sont pas des soupes de soap. C'est absolument détestable. L'occupant précédent manquait clairement d'hygiène de base, et bien que cela ne devait pas être attendu, les nettoyeurs ont vraiment besoin d'un œil plus attentif pour les détails. Ce genre de chose ne devrait jamais être manqué. Photos jointes pour référence.

Very convenient location, for the motorway and into Lancaster for meals out. We were happy with our room, but the sofa bed was not really suitable for two. Next time we’d make sure to book a two double bed family room. Great pool and lovely breakfast

Excellent stay, excellent dinner, excellent spa experience and breakfast buffet that is second to none! The Mecure really do know how to provide a great customer experience and every single staff member is courteous, polite, helpful and friendly. The rooms are enormous and if you are lucky enough to get a courtyard one, your eyes are in for a treat. Sue and Lucy in the spa are marvellous and even the chambermaid staff, especially Deborah worked with a smile and was helpful with directions. If you stay in a courtyard room you will understand why directions are needed. 😀. All in all I had an absolutely fantastic Mother’s Day stay!

Fab place belles logements en dehors d'eux pouvait faire avec peu de nettoyage mais supposez que c'est la nature l'intérieur propre un foyer tout le besoin est fournie aussi bien le balcon était étonnant de façon à conduire sur le lac c'est lui-même, donc mon fils pourrait b up près de poulets sans être dans l'eau Il y a bar de sports d'eau restaurant Playarea dans un golf fou à pied autour du lac est agréable et central pour aller à l'exploration Windermere 30min de voiture et a eu un jour étonnant il y a aussi petit chippy 5 min de voiture sur la route nord pense que l'appel était beau la nourriture et l'oeuvre, prix à

Hotel staff, facilities, food, swimming pools and entertainment were brilliant. Everything was presented really nicely in the foyer/reception area. The bedroom and carpets were really tired, however, and need a revamp to match the quality hotel foyer. We found the mattresses uncomfortably soft and didn't sleep well, so assume these were old too. A really mixed experience, but on balance the positive outweighed the negatives. The staff could not have been more accommodating or helpful. Highly recommend getting tram passes on app. before you arrive as need proof of children's DOB from passport or birth certificate. The tram stop is really conveniently opposite the hotel. Excellent reliable service :-)

Aime cet hôtel beaucoup de parking et super amical personnel très propre et agréable nourriture dispose d'une salle de sport avec piscine gratuit pour ma voiture qui est très bonnes chambres sont les meilleurs

Lovely clean hotel. Very comfy beds. Breakfast was good. Reception staff were pleasant. Driver was the friendliest. Was a good stay but I wouldn’t say it wowed me and felt staff could’ve been more attentive. Also lack of room service, evening snacks, fridge, tv channels, alternative pillows etc. also hotel said they didn’t receive my special requests I’ve added to the trip booking which meant the birthday we were celebrating was overlooked.
