We checked in slightly early, reception staff were very kind, friendly and knowledgeable. We had Lodge 248, the location was perfect , right beside the water and close enough to the Watersport centre . The lodge was immaculate , the beds were huge and comfortable , the showers were super powerful, the terrace was good to sit outside and watch all the action on the Lake. We only stayed for one night as we were travelling home , however we will definitely return again for a few nights to relax and chill out. We were a family of 5, non complaints at all.

Was happy with our stay at the hotel  I did not except the plenty of food we were offered  Was so delicious  The room was clean  Only the carpets are old and car park is difficulty  But l would love to go again  I really enjoyed the food  Had variety and you would until you are full Thank you and keep it up

I chose the hotel given it was next to the University that I wanted to visit. The hotel was clean, spacious and friendly staff. A special mention to Carolyn who was particularly helpful and gave me useful information about the town which I last visited 26 years ago!

The location is great, but everything else is quite old and worn out. The service was quite bad, we did not have any towels or water bottles in our room. Upon asking, they said we are ‘supposed’ to get the towels from the receptions. And only the rooms with a fridge will have water bottles. Did not even offer to let us buy any bottles. As it was quite late when we realised we did not have any bottle of waters, luckily found a Co-op in 5 mins distance closing soon, we had to grab them from there. The room had a partial sea view. But the bed was so noisy and squeaky even with the slightest movement. All the other furnitures were very old, no charging or plug points beside the bed. If not for location, because the beach is quiet in front of the hotel, i wouldn’t have even considered it ever again. One good thing about it was the swimming pool, it was very clean but the changing rooms could have been much better. I have booked through Trip.com previously, so I know it has nothing to do with internet or 3rd party booking, it is just a very old hotel. And the pictures are quite deceiving.

The hotel is in a great location for easy access to the motorway.  The staff were very helpful and friendly.  Our room was very spacious and had recently been refurbished.  In some parts of the hotel it was cold due to a lack of heating but thankfully, our corridor and room were lovely and warm.  Great value and would stay again.

Hotel staff, facilities, food, swimming pools and entertainment were brilliant. Everything was presented really nicely in the foyer/reception area. The bedroom and carpets were really tired, however, and need a revamp to match the quality hotel foyer. We found the mattresses uncomfortably soft and didn't sleep well, so assume these were old too. A really mixed experience, but on balance the positive outweighed the negatives. The staff could not have been more accommodating or helpful. Highly recommend getting tram passes on app. before you arrive as need proof of children's DOB from passport or birth certificate. The tram stop is really conveniently opposite the hotel. Excellent reliable service :-)

Un grand hôtel, séjour pour 3 nuits pendant la visite de la famille. Grand emplacement, 1 minute de M6 raccordement, avec parking gratuit, a pris une plongée dans la piscine, le spa et la salle de vapeur après un long jour. 2 minutes de marche vers la route est un McDonalds pour garder les enfants heureux et à côté de la porte de McDonalds est un parc de voiture pour EV charger pour quiconque avec une voiture électrique, c'est en partie la raison de réserver le Holiday Inn comme nécessaire pour charger la voiture, L'Holiday Inn a un restaurant et un bar, très cher, donc utilisé cette fois dans notre séjour, mais il est un bar bien stocké et un menu très bon. Le petit déjeuner était abondant, beaucoup à choisir, le terrain de jeu dehors pour les enfants et une petite zone de jeu dans la partie salon du bar, je crois qu'ils s'occupent aussi des chiens comme ils ont vu quelques-uns pendant le séjour et la réception avait un jar de traitement.
