Couple with dog. For two nights we didn't have hot water. We rang reception an spoke to the duty manager - the second time...He told us it was because there was a coach load of people staying who had all taken a shower/bath at the same time on their return, and we would have to wait until it heated up again. That didn't allow for the lack of pressure - a trickle! In the end we gave up - no shower/bath. However, the duty manager assured us that the manager would find us the next morning.... this never happened, On the Saturday night the same thing happened. The excuse given by the receptionist for the manager not having found us that morning was there was a wedding and all managers were needed - they didn't start their shift until 11am. The duty manager couldn't speak to us as he was working at the wedding - Saturday night - but Leanne assured us that she had noted our complaint and that she had written up notes, and our inconvenience (now not having hot water for two nights of a three night stay) would be reflected in our invoice on checking out. This wasn't the point. The stay was supposed to be a relaxing, super special treat, not able to have a shower or a bath at night was NOT okay! She assured us that on the third night the 'tour' party and 'wedding party' would have left. So we would have hot water. Which we did. On checking out the receptionist had no idea about our complaint, and therefore couldn't help us. We are in the process of writing a compliant, and a review. The staff and hotel did not let you down - the management did! I have a video of the water pressure. On another point, the hotel is described as dog friendly. This might be the case. You can bring your dog for a fee of £25 a night, however, on check in we were told we had to eat in the bar area or outside. Luckily the weather was okay. However, we felt like second class citizens! Not only that but the bar area has no tables at which anyone could eat a meal - the tables are all low and only fit for snacks!

I had an absolutely delightful stay here. The rooms were spotless, provided in the rooms were coffee machines, bath robes, room slippers, hair dryers. There were basic toiletries and you could ask for vanity kits or shaving kits as well. The in room dining menu is priced very well but it is not all day, so do check with the reception. There is so much to do around the property and there’s ample parking available as well. The indoor pool is heated and can be used till 8PM. Breakfast is from 7-10AM and is a lovely spread.

Hôtel spacieux et relaxant situé au bord de la rivière, avec de belles promenades dans la réserve naturelle accessibles depuis l'hôtel, et un emplacement fantastique pour visiter le centre-ville. La piscine et le spa étaient également un avantage supplémentaire et c'était très relaxant de s'asseoir sous les guirlandes lumineuses avec la vue sur la rivière.

Le 2e retour à la forêt d'Arden (1e après changement de propriété) est un très bon hôtel avec des chambres de qualité, un magnifique emplacement et des choix de nourriture et de boissons de qualité. Je dirais que les chambres au dessus du sol de la vague de chaleur de la fin mai étaient malheureusement chaudes à la nuit même avec fenêtres ouvertes et le ventilateur fourni et nous avons remis ceci au personnel de l'hôtel à la fin du séjour. La piscine et les douches froides peuvent atténuer quelque peu. Nous avons toujours apprécié notre séjour et il est une bonne base pour les événements au NEC même si vous ne jouez pas au golf.

Le petit déjeuner est très bon, mais le climatisation a été bien fonctionné le matin, donc pendant la nuit nous avons dû ouvrir les fenêtres. Nous n'avons pas demandé l'hôtel cette nuit parce que nous pensais qu'il était normalement au Royaume-Uni.

What a wonderful place, everything you could want for a British country house getaway. The staff are wonderful across the board, food was excellent and the suite was cosy and well-appointed. I would just add that for a hotel of this calibre I would expect to have a well-appointed gym, but it didn’t take away from the great trip,

The hotel was lovely and the staff were professional, although they could have been slightly more friendly. The room did not have AC which was a big disappointment as we were very hot, but overall the facilities and spa was great.

L'emplacement de l'hôtel est très bon sur un terrain de golf en banlieue, très proche de l'autoroute mais il faut conduire. Le seul reproche est que le petit déjeuner est vraiment mauvais et tout le reste est plutôt bon
