This motel is located a very short drive from great restaurants and large grocery stores. The grounds and pool are immaculate, very friendly staff everywhere. Rooms are spotless and our deck was large with a table and 2 chairs. Lower floors have covered patios. Very nice! We would stay here again.

J'ai récemment passé deux nuits au Waitakei Resort et j'ai passé un séjour merveilleux. Le cadre était incroyablement paisible et pittoresque, idéal pour une escapade loin de la ville. La chambre était propre, spacieuse et bien équipée, avec un lit confortable et une vue magnifique. Le personnel était sympathique et attentionné, toujours prêt à répondre à toutes vos demandes. J'ai particulièrement apprécié les sources chaudes naturelles du complexe, un moment fort de mon séjour. La cuisine du restaurant sur place était délicieuse, avec un large choix et des ingrédients frais. En résumé, je recommande vivement le Waitakei Resort à tous ceux qui recherchent une escapade relaxante et ressourçante. J'espère y retourner bientôt !

Great room I had the best bath wonderful temperature and our bed was so comfortable friendly staff and helpful lovely breakfast too thank you we will be back

The pool facilities were great lots of options to choose from for swimming. The room was very basic which was fine, however the ”king” bed in the room was 2 single beds moved together so more like a double/queen. As a family booking with 1 bed we expected it to be a bit bigger. There was a half eaten packet of donuts left in our fridge and the microwave still had food splatter in it when we went to use it. We had booked for 3 pax and were only given towels for 2 people so would advise to take your own. The tv also get dropping out of signal which was also annoying. We would consider coming back again but look into an extra bed next time. For the price we paid it was reasonable, I wouldnt want to pay more for the same room.

We had a very good discounted price for the night, the room was very comfortable and clean with a good bathroom. Unfortunately the units are not very well sound proofed and in our instance the occupants of the room next door were very inconsiderate and stayed up very late, even after asking them in person to go to sleep at 1am it took another while before it got quiet. Aimez la position, vous pouvez vous promener sur le lac et vous assieds à l'extérieur sur une table et admirer la vue ! Le restaurant était gentil juste une honte le lieu de feu n'est pas comme un vrai feu en bois quand il est hiver ! Le parking était très bon et facile, si bien qu'ils ont une piscine chauffée qu'il serait inutile en hiver, ils ont aussi la sauna qui est grande c'est juste une telle honte que le grotto est hors d'ordre et il a été dit qu'il a été de cette façon depuis un certain temps. Quelque chose comme ça devrait être sorti à un dernier recours juste reconstruire si elle ne peut pas être fixe clients l'attendent La salle de bain était bonne avec une belle salle de bains spa et c'est le meilleur lit que nous ayons jamais dormi. C'est énorme! Vous pouvez y réparer 6 personnes si haha!

I did like this place very much. The hotel is made up of small chalets. The room studio was amazing, clean and very comfortable. The lady at the front desk was charming and super helpful giving information about what to do for the rest of my day. I got there early and she got me in my room right away. I was able to go and do the Driving Creek Railway ride. It was an amazing experience. Coromandel is a very small village so not much to see other than a few stores. But the landscape is beautiful and there is a 50 minutes hike up the hill and a magnificent view of the Coromandel Bay right next to the hotel. A must see!

I stayed here with my mum and brother in a kitchen cabin. The cabin itself was quite basic and very small – fine for one night, but it would feel too cramped for a longer stay. That said, the campsite itself is lovely and the swimming pools were an absolute highlight. We really loved them and would happily stay here again just for the pools alone. Next time, I’d definitely upgrade the accommodation to something more spacious. An on-site café would also be a great addition and would really enhance the overall experience.

super affordable. my room was really clean and the facilities like showers and kitchen was clean too. it was off season so not much crowd, plenty of space in the fridge for my food. Room had everything i needed, including a fan. Laundry services were slightly pricey at $6/wash and $6/dry, bring your own detergent, or buy some during store hours at the little shop near checkin. no vending machine for it! really rocky beach right behind the property, had loads of fun just hanging around.

nice basic facilities and amenities. perfect stop over location for long drive.
