The first room I was given was very old, with a broken floor, damp on the wall by the bed, and paint that was peeling and coming off. The room was located in a separate building from the hotel. I was quite disappointed because this is not what one would expect from a 4-star hotel. The explanation I was given was that I had booked through a budget platform. Luckily, after changing rooms twice, I was finally able to get a room in the hotel’s main building. The reception staff were very kind and understanding of my family’s needs. Once in the main building, everything was exactly as expected. The pool is beautiful with a stunning view, which is the reason I have returned to this property for the fifth time.

Incrível!!!! Atendimento extremamente simpático e prestativo, ambiente acolhedor limpo, pequeno almoço INCRÍVEL com quatro mesas cheias de produtos, realmente representantes o peaueno almoço de hotel que todos idealizamos! A vista do quarto era perfeita para o jardim, privativo, com acesso á sauna jaccuzy e piscina. Esta estadia superou TODAS as minhas expectativas, staff Incrível mesmo!!!

hôtel qui marque une certaine âge et déserte. Insonorisation des chambres faible, permettant d'entendre des bruits de chambres voisines.
Nous avons réservé 2 chambres pour la famille, il n'y a pas de garde de les placer au moins dans le même étage.
Après avoir été réclamé, les techniciens ont essayé de régler et le deuxième soir, il a fini par détruire le mécanisme et il a été vidé dans le sanitaire.
Au check-out, ils ont proposé un changement de chambre.
Bonnes conditions de piscine intérieure, sauna et bain turc.

Excellent hôtel dans l'ensemble. Très bien situé et personnel sympathique et superbe terrain / vue. L'expérience pourrait être considérablement améliorée avec seulement deux petits changements :
1. Service au bord de la piscine - dans l'état actuel des choses, vous devez vous procurer votre propre nourriture et vos boissons. Ajouter une application ou un système d'appel serait génial. Un serveur/serveuse de piscine serait incroyable.
2. De meilleurs matelas. Ils se sentaient assez durs, comme un matelas économique qui ne convient pas à un bel hôtel.

Clean hotel, budget breakfast. Old pool (not very clean) and no access to the gym. Far from the city and no transfer.
No restaurant, only a bar with regular food like burgers and pizza (not very good).

Foi uma estadia ótima, mesmo tendo sido apenas por uma noite. O quarto estava limpo, arejado e muito confortável. Quero dar um destaque especial para o atendimento da receção no dia em que chegámos: o senhor que nos recebeu foi extremamente simpático, fez questão de nos apresentar o hotel com todos os detalhes e deixou-nos logo à vontade. Esse cuidado no atendimento fez toda a diferença e tornou a experiência ainda mais agradável. Recomendo!

A great resort on the North Coast of Azores. The trail along the coast from the hotel is very nice. There are a few restaurants around and the hotel has good breakfast and a restaurant on site opening for lunch and dinner. Good for family, the hotel staff are extremely friendly and helpful. They can help you book tours and call taxis.

NNodynessoThe check-in was the most problematic part. I hadn't received any instructions from the host (also not in spamfolder) how to unlock the entry gate to the property. It was already getting dark and the host was also not reachable by telephone. Monica from Trip customer service eventually managed to forward the necessary entry codes to me (many thanks for the assistance!).
++ The room was spacious and convenient, the bed was comfortable, the bathroom and toilet were clean and there were enough towels. For those who like to watch TV: a huge flatscreen with plenty of channels. The shared patio with a little swimming pool is very nice with beautiful sea view. The property is quietly situated at a 15 minute walk from the centre of Angra.
-- No written instructions (e.g. WiFi password) or general information (amenities) available. There are shared facilities in the property and the kitchen can be used for preparing meals (self catering). Although the reservation mentioned breakfast included, there was no fresh bread brought in. Not the end of the world but better not mention it as an option. Also unclear if items in refrigerator belong to other guests (self caterers) or are for general use so we didn't touch any. The host was not available by telephone for questions and also never responded to my initial calls on the day of check in. The room was in the basement and from time to time some smell from the sewer pipes lingers in the room.

GGusNSA truly wonderful hotel.
With only 9 rooms, the staff focuses on making every guest experience exceptional.
The location is great, central enough to explore the Island and come back too every day. While the view from, and upon exiting, your room will take your breath away every single time.
All of the accommodations are top notch, the bed was supremely comfortable and even the linens and towels had a plush feeling.
Breakfast options can be slightly redundant but the quality and freshness of the ingredients, along homemade jam and juice, as well as a flexibility to switch things up on the menu, more than make up for it.
We the hotel restaurant is excellent for dinner as well. So much so that we ended up defaulting to it more than once during our stay.
We also appreciated small details like the phone they provided upon check-in that followed us everywhere on the island for spur of the moment suggestions and reservations through the hotel!
All in all, highly recommended, my wife and I know we’ll be back!

IInvitéWhilst the hotel was very modern it seemed to lack basics such as a kettle in the room (there is a nespresso machine but for any tea drinkers out there they will know that making tea through a coffee machine is far from ideal) and being able to retrieve an iron. Instead you are expected to put items in for laundry when all we wanted to do was run an iron over a shirt for the evening.
Pool area is stunning however has the most uncomfortable loungers you could ever find. They look great but the max stay to bathe is less than an hour before your entire body goes numb.
It seems that this stunning hotel is trying to be a little above its star rating and failing on these few points at just trying that bit too hard for the clientele staying.
Rooms were very clean although signs of some wear and tear are already starting to show.
Location is EXCELLENT and staff helpful, polite and welcoming.
Not sure if we would stay again as we are real sun worshipers and really struggled to enjoy the pool area here.

IInvitéIm afraid to write all this because this place because when we want to go back here, it will get too busy. We travelled with a baby and the hotel provided a high chair and crib which made a huge difference for us. They even upgraded our room. The staff is very responsive and would respond to my queries prior to arriving. They would help me with any questions at the front desk. Bernardo, Joal, and Claudio were excellent help. They had great recommendations for tourist things to do that met the needs of our family. The hotel and apartment were immaculately clean and staff were so friendly and thorough. We enjoyed the continental breakfast everyday. Some people complained in previous reviews its the same items each day but we found there was a new item each day. I also appreciated the consistency because I knew what to eat the next morning. The woman who does the breakfast has a wonderful spread. The fruit, coffee, eggs and everything were fantastic.

IInvitéI was a little disappointed that this is not, in fact, a hotel. I think I might have been the only person staying there, I didn't see anyone else except for about 2 seconds in the breakfast room. The only contact I had was by email, and all the instructions were only sent the morning I was traveling, so I didn't receive them until I got to Pico. The room was comfortable enough and very clean. But lots of things are dated. The internet was non-existent. The air conditioner and bathroom fan were both ancient and made a lot of noise. The breakfast was only meh, but the view from the breakfast room was lovely. The location is good, close to town and in a quiet area. I didn't spend much time at the hotel and it was too cold for a swim, but I imagine that would be great when the weather is warmer as the pool also has an amazing view. It's worth it for the price.

IInvitéThe hotel is conveniently located with a great view over the harbour and sea. I guess the low overflying planes might be a problem, but I wear earplugs when away anyhow! Quite dramatic and not an issue for me.
Reception staff were very helpful, as were the restaurant staf esp. Bim and his colleague - I really felt welcomed, though first night it was chaotic with two many people (coaces?) trying to get fed in a relatively small dining room.
The buffet style I liked, less choice for me was good!
I especially liked the soups and fish.
Overall. I would recommend.

IInvitéI WAS PLEASANTLY SURPRISED TO FIND A VERY COMFORTABLE WEEK'S STAY AT HOTEL INATEL. IT IS SMALL AND LOVELY AND EASY TO MANUEVER AROUND THE HOTEL OR TO WALK OR DRIVE TO THE CENTER AND WELL BEYOND THIS VERY CHARMING AND BEAUTIFUL GRACIOISA ISLAND. I FELT VERY AT HOME AT THE HOTEL. EVERYTHING WAS MANAGED VERY WELL BY THE ENTIRE STAFF. THE RESTAURANT SERVED A 3 COURSE DINNER THAT WAS BETTER THAN THE LOCAL RESTAURANTS AND COST LESS MONEY. I HOPE TO RETURN TO GRACIOSA TO THE CARAPACHO THERMAL BATHS AND THE HOTEL GRACIOSA INATEL THANK YOU, H.L. USA
