Hôtels avec piscine à Maine, États-Unis

We just came back from our 4 nights stay. The Inn looked clean and offered a good breakfast, although in a different building. That is pretty much it. Our stay was not the most pleasant though. We booked a room for 3 people (we were traveling with our teenage kid) and at the time of booking I specified that I needed a room large enough for three people and an additional bed for our son. I called the Inn twice in the week prior to our arrival to make sure we had the room we needed and to let them know that we were arriving late in the evening. We arrived on Thursday night at 9 pm to find out that the room we were given was incredibly small and there was no place for an additional bed. The receptionist, a foreign student, called the manager who told her to add a cot to the already small room. We asked for another room and we were offered a room on the third story that was identical to the one we were given but with an awful smell and we declined it. The receptionist told us to either take the room we were assigned or leave. Little caveat, we had already prepaid a non refundable rate and at this time of the year there are no rooms available on Old Orchard Beach without a reservation. The receptionist did not seem to understand the conundrum of the prepaid non refundable stay and did not want to call the manager a second time to try to help us out. We did not want to lose the money we had already disbursed for our vacation so we had no choice but to take the room we were given, move the furniture around to fit a cot bed between our bed and a bureau (which then we could not use because his bed was right against the drawers). Every night we had to move all the luggage against the door to have enough space for the three of us to get to the tiniest bathroom you can think of (a closet repurposed as a bathroom). I do not understand why they accepted the reservation and ended up messing up with our vacation. They could have rejected the reservation saying that they did not have a room for us and I would have booked a room somewhere else. This small room could have worked for a couple but did not work for a family. The room service is offered every other day which meant leaving wet towels from 3 people's showers on the bathroom for an entire day. On one day, I asked for a garbage bag and put the wet towels outside the floor for someone to pick up. Same for the garbage. They sat there in the hallway until the next day. How do they expect people to shower every day, without a change of towels, especially after spending a day at the beach? There are a lot of things that could have been done better. We have been at OOB several times and other motels offer a much better service. I think there is a lot of potential but they need better management. Will not stay there again.

Nous avons séjourné dans la chambre à l'annexe et notre groupe a séjourné dans deux chambres. - très propre et nouvelle! La chambre est propre et spacieuse et le lit est confortable! La salle de bain est petite mais très propre! Nous avons dormi très bien! Le petit déjeuner était grat et aller- bon pour les marcheurs! Ils ont une piscine intérieure et lave-linge. Nous n'avons pas utilisé la piscine mais elle était grande et propre. Nous n'avons pas utilisé beaucoup de service, mais le personnel au bureau front était gentil quand nous avons posé des questions. La seule chose est que l'une de la chambre a l'odeur de la nouvelle chambre rénovée - heureusement nous avons acheté un sac et n'a pas séjourné beaucoup dans la chambre, donc il était acceptable. L'autre chambre était l'odeur gratuite cependant! À la suite de quelle chambre vous séjournez, je pense. Il y a un Walmart à proximité et le super-carte Tesla, cependant, la route est une route d'une seule voie devant l'hôtel et environ 40 minutes de route au parc national Acadia si pas très confortable mais nous sommes très reconnaissants pour la dernière minute de réservation d/t Le centre de l'hôtel est très bien situé, mais il est très bien situé dans le centre de l'hôtel.

Un hôtel très calme, la chambre est également très propre, l'hôtel est proche de la mer, le matin est le bord de la mer. Il est également proche de la marine de Bahao. Il est préférable de prendre un restaurant dans la zone de vue de Bahao, il y a beaucoup de choix.

Le personnel est très propre et confortable. Nous étions confus parce que dans d'autres hôtels que nous avons séjourné, nous avons été autorisés à quitter les chiens. Cela rend plutôt difficile quand vous arrivez à la position et vous êtes une heure et demie de votre maison que vous devez maintenant trouver un chien assise ou un soin de chien pendant que vous partez de votre chambre d'hôtel à moi il défaite l'objectif parce que je sais que je suis Ils auront laissé le chien à la maison, soit ce soit ils clarifient leur position sur des questions telles que « vous avez un chien ici aussi longtemps qu'il reste calme, ça va bien » quelque chose à cet effet.

We had a wonderful stay at the Hampton Inn Ellsworth/Bar Harbor! The hotel was spotless, our room was comfortable and quiet, and the staff made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The complimentary breakfast was excellent with plenty of choices to start the day, and the location was perfect for exploring Ellsworth, Acadia National Park, and Bar Harbor. It was nice to come back each evening to a clean, relaxing room after a day of sightseeing. We especially appreciated the friendly service and how well the property was maintained. If you're looking for a comfortable, convenient place to stay while visiting the Downeast Maine area, we highly recommend the Hampton Inn Ellsworth/Bar Harbor. We would definitely stay here again!

Breakfast was great. We had a little maintenance issue with the room but the maintenance staff came right up to resolve our issue. Front desk girl was very professional and courteous. She was on the phone with what sounded like a previous guest who was clearly complaining about something regarding the sales tax and a reservation with the previous private owner prior to Quality Inn taking over. She handled herself very well, calm professional and respectful even though the person on the other end of the line was not reciprocating those same qualities. She got off the phone and helped me with a great smile and very attentive to my questions. Great job!!

Very conveniently located in Acadia National Park. It is very clean, roomy, and modern. Plus it only has one floor, which makes stay more quiet. I have been staying in better known chains like Marriott, and this experience changed my prejudices for motels.

Old and not maintained (spiderwebs all over the lawns in between the various buildings; our room came ‘equipped’ with a leftover flosser and socks on the floor from the previous occupants, sink was clogged, ancient air conditioning unit). They did say they have a pool, access to kayaks, paddleboards and whatnot, we only stayed one night and it rained so we didn’t use any of it. By the water so a bit of a view. Will do the job in a pinch (given that there are only 2 hotels in Southport, not a lot of options to choose from; would definitely recommend Newagen over this one or choose something in Boothbay).

Tout a été convenu. Non belle mais pratique: près de la route rapide et de nombreuses possibilités d'achat à côté. Chambres étaient bonnes, petit déjeuner rien de spécial. Baignoire relativement petite, lave-vaisselle dans la chambre

This one has seen better days. A lot of maintenance issues that had gone unreported for a long time. Shower/bathtub would not drain at all. Washbasin was very slow. AC filter was in need of a good cleaning. A side door is supposed to be locked from the inside but stayed open and unsecured all night. This was just as expensive as a really well maintained Hilton Garden Inn hotel in Freeport. Your dog is welcome but it will cost you a 15$ fee. The breakfast was good and had options for a take out box. Location seemed very odd, and seems far from Bangor proper.
