Hôtels avec piscine à Minnesota, États-Unis

0 choses à faire autre que nager avant 10 h est un samedi qui est difficile avec les enfants. Piscine et chambres ne sont pas amicales. Parois minces (on peut entendre chaque mot de voisins convoyant jusqu'à minuit), pas de linge pour mettre quelque chose dans la douche.

I booked 2 rooms, 4 nights via trips.com and 1 night via a credit card portal. We normally book direct with the hotel but it the 3rd party sites offered lower costs. Neither third party booking site disclosed a $3 parking fee at the time of booking. Looking at the hotel website, I also do not see a parking fee disclosure. Mankato is a relatively small town, and the location is not busy enough to justify a parking fee; charging it as a surprise/undisclosed fees (resort, parking, etc) is a dishonest practice you should abandon if you want repeat business. We were generally happy with the housekeeping, beds and room features. Issues with the TV signal and room keys were resolved by the staff in a timely manner. I chose Fairfield based on past good experience with Mariott/Residence Inn/Fairfield breakfasts in other cities. We appreciate access to a basic breakfast, and were pleased with the coffee, fruit, and bagels. However the quality of the main course (instant scrambled eggs and so-called ”omelettes”) was disappointing. Yogurts were exclusively fat-free (chalky taste) in a padlocked at 9am sharp. Sausage patties (frozen/warmed) were in short supply and also not appetizing. For the room rate we paid, we hoped for a better breakfast.

Great location and amenities. The staff were always quick and available to answer any questions or provide items needed. The room was clean and had everything we expected. Towels, bed, room and all-around hotel smelled clean. There’s always someone cleaning around the hotel. They also had plenty of staff to address different needs, which is impressive given so many business struggling to keep staff. My only issue was too much chlorine in the pool made it really hard to breathe (maybe they need better air circulation) and it burned everyone’s eyes.  Also, luckily I read the reviews online so I knew to expect the parking fee. But it wasn’t noted on the booking page or website when I looked. But for the rate/deal we got on the room, the parking fee wasn’t a big deal. We came in pretty late each night and was able to find parking, but it was limited so I see what people meant in the reviews. I would definitely stay here again!! Oh and the breakfast was nice and hot and very clean. Plus, lots of options.  Also Outback is right next door, (walk across the lot) for nearby restaurant option.

The facility was clean and the staff was helpful when asked. I was treated with a smile. I feel as though it is over priced  for what it is shouldn’t be more than a 70$ a night hotel at most. The bed was at a slant so my feet were above my head, so I felt like I was sleeping slightly inverted. The TV wasn’t the best either, as I was trying to watch the football game with a blur because the refresh rate of the tv  was to slow. It was hard to watch tv through the blur, but I was thankful to have a TV. The biggest issue was the shower!!! It was incredibly odd and didn’t fit me (5’11, 225lbs). The pressure was the only thing successful about it. I had to fight the shower curtain throughout the entire shower and the entire bathroom was wet because the shower head is positioned in the middle of the shower pointed out towards the center of the bathroom, vs at one end pointed towards the opposite end, like usual needless to say. Then I had to dry up the floor once done with the shower with every towel that was in the bathroom as it was soaked because of the funky weird layout.

My boyfriend and I really enjoyed our stay at the Cambria hotel. He went to conference in downtown St. Paul while I checked out the Twin Cities. Location is excellent. My boyfriend easily took the #54 bus into St. Paul using the bus stop right next to the hotel. I checked out the MN Valley National Wildlife Refuge (a 3 min drive away) and the Mall of America / IKEA (free hotel shuttle which was super easy to use) in addition to other sites that I drove to (hotel offers free parking with plenty of open spaces). The free morning coffee in the lobby was delicious and strong. While breakfast was not free, the hotel room has a microwave and mini-fridge for us to make our own breakfast (oatmeal, bagels, yogurt, etc.) and keep cold soda/beer in our room. I also enjoyed their swimming pool. The water is cool but good for doing laps. Finally, we enjoyed their spacious, clean, and modern rooms. Thank you, Cambria!

This is a wonderful long-term stay hotel. Its greatest advantage over other hotels in the Mayo Clinic area is the friendliness and competence of the staff. every single one of the staff that I’ve interacted with was superb. Most four-star hotels don’t have this level of service that I’ve experienced at StayBridge the breakfast buffet is very good. The restaurant is outstanding. The staff at the reception desk is more competent and nicer than any hotel I can think of in Minnesota It is across the entrance from Mayo St. Mary’s Hospital Also there are several very good restaurants within two blocks in each direction I’ve stayed in four other hotels in the three years that I receive care at Mayo Clinic and this one is fairly superior to the others. Tout était excellent: collecte de l'aéroport, contrôle en cours, nettoyage, équipements dans la chambre (microonde et réfrigérateur, grandes bouteilles de shampooing, conditionneur, savon), équipements en dehors de la chambre, piscine - propre, tube chaud, saloon, bureau frontal très utile, Le petit déjeuner, nous quitter à l'aéroport. Vous devez essayer. Ça vaut la peine pour son prix. Nous aimons cet endroit.

Le petit déjeuner est une carte, pas un buffet. Bon choix pour ceux qui doivent rester à Hilton près de l'aéroport.
