A Great Seaside Retreat at East beach Sea View Hotel Qinhuangdao Beidaihe My stay at the Sea View Hotel Qinhuangdao Beidaihe was easily the highlight of my Beidaihe trip—this is truly a gem for travelers craving a cozy and convenient coastal getaway. Let’s start with its unbeatable location, the biggest selling point. Just steps from the beach, I could walk to the shore in 5 minutes for morning sunrise or evening strolls, and it’s also close to popular spots like Pigeon Nest Park. The surrounding area is packed with dining options, from local seafood shacks to nice restaurants, so grabbing a fresh seafood meal or casual bite never required a long drive. The rooms exceeded my expectations too. I booked a sea-view room, and the view didn’t disappoint—large windows let in plenty of sunlight, and I could hear the waves from my bed. The space was spacious and clean, with crisp, stain-free linens and a spotless bathroom that had no odd odors. The hotel also thoughtfully provided amenities like a minibar and free Wi-Fi, which added to the convenience. What really stood out was the service. The front desk staff were warm and responsive—when I asked about nearby attractions, they gave detailed recommendations, and when my family needed a hand with luggage, someone came right away. They even had little extras like kids’ sand toys and strollers available, which would be a lifesaver for families traveling with young ones. If I had to mention a small flaw, a few guests noted that some bathroom fixtures felt a bit worn, but this didn’t affect my stay at all. For anyone visiting Beidaihe and wanting to be close to the sea with great service, this hotel is a no-brainer. I’ll definitely book here again next time!

We had an amazing stay at Shangri-La. The location is perfect! very close to the beach, which made everything even more enjoyable. The food was delicious, and the room service, as well as all the staff, were incredibly warm, kind, and attentive. We originally planned to stay for two nights, but we loved it so much that we extended our stay for one more night. The swimming pool was clean and well-maintained. We truly enjoyed our time by the sea riding bikes along the beach, feeding the seagulls, and taking beautiful photos. It was a wonderful and memorable experience.

We have a wonderful time. The staff are so kind, friendly and helpful. The room have a WiFi. We are suprised that the staff upgraded the room for us without any charging. The breakfast got lot of variety of foods. ☺️

La vue sur la mer est sans précédent lors d'un séjour ici. C'est un autre avantage d'amener des enfants à fourrure ici, et c'est un autre avantage d'amener des invités étrangers ici ! Le Hebei est trop en retard. Nous avons conduit ici depuis le Guangdong. Seules de nombreuses auberges et hôtels du Hebei n'autorisent pas les étrangers à séjourner. Celui-ci répond aux deux exigences de notre voyage ! Quand je suis arrivé au milieu de la nuit, j'ai appelé et je me suis enregistré immédiatement. Même si la climatisation dans la chambre n'était pas très chaude, il suffisait d'avoir une couverture chauffante et une couette supplémentaire ! Voyager hors saison, c'est bien. Vous pouvez voir tout le lever du soleil depuis la chambre et réserver presque la plage. Je suppose que les enfants à fourrure ne sont pas autorisés à aller à la plage en haute saison Haha, dans l'ensemble, je suis très satisfait 👍. .. C'est dommage qu'il n'y ait pas de petit-déjeuner et que les équipements de la chambre puissent être mis à jour et entretenus !

A true 5 Star experience. The room is top notch with a large window overlooking the sea. Service is outstanding in all categories. Breakfast is full and rich. The hotel dinner buffet is so extraordinary that I say you must try it at least once! We were amazed at the variety of dishes and the quality. Hotel location is perfect. Just a few minutes walk and you can have your feet in the sand or water. The Qinhuang Alley Food Street is also within walking distance or very short cab ride. This food street is very lively and fun to visit especially in the evening. Two other recommendations for things to do are Lao Long Tou (Old Dragon Head) which you can get to by cab. And if you are a fan of the Olympics you really should visit Olympic Avenue Park. Amazing relief sculpture wall over 300 meters long portraying Olympic history. Must be seen to be believed. Thank you to all the friendly and professional staff and chefs at Grand Hotel Qinhuang for making our 4 night stay so enjoyable. Qinhuangdao is a wonderful city with so many different things to do and experience we hope we can return again.

The room service and staff are very nice and welcoming - thank you!. The buffet style breakfast and dinner are amazing! Access to the beach is strange as there are stairs to the beach, but the door is locked, so you have to walk around the hotel to access the beach which is illogical. I was looking for two rooms with a balcony. We didn't get the balcony but luckily the windows were opening and had a screen against the mosquitos. There is only 8 rooms in the hotel that face the sea and have a balcony. One of our rooms was far away from the hotel fan so it was nice and quiet. The other room was by this huge hotel fan and very noisy. Overall, I can definitely recommend the hotel but be mindful of the room that you a choosing. Staff does not speak English, but is very keen to help.

La chambre était incroyable ! Très propre ! Séjour très confortable ! Vue imprenable sur l'océan ! On peut admirer le lever du soleil sans effort depuis le lit ! Absolument magnifique ! La plage est juste en face de l'hôtel ! Plein de mouettes ! Le vidéoprojecteur de la chambre est accessible par abonnement ! On peut regarder autant de films qu'on veut ! Je reviendrai sans hésiter !

The hotel staff is very courteous and helpful. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and the location is simply fabulous. The ocean view room is very serene. The front desk is ever willing to facilitate and help. I sought their help in making phone calls; communicating with the driver, and also helping me navigate the surroundings. At least in my case the staff remained highly cooperative and accessible. The best thing is that they also follow up on requests or concerns and guests need not repeat themselves. My scoring is 10/10. 👏

The location was and is amazing! The beach is nice and surprisingly clean. Sadly there is a construction ongoing which splits the beach up causing a limited enjoyment. Regarding the hotel. Amazing entrance! The hotel is made for several 100, when not even 1000 people! But you can clearly see that this amount of visitors causes the material to dissolve. That's quite sad. We went there in a high frequent moment. Causing reduced service availability and options but they try their best.

房間面積寬敞，衞生較好，設施齊全，服務周到，早餐較豐富。離金夢海灣步行5分鐘，飯後去散步、游泳都行。門口有個海鮮餐廳，好幾頓在那兒吃的，比較方便。樓下有個羅森超市。地下停車場有專屬停車位，在前台登記車牌號免費停。水壓大，洗澡很爽。一樓洗衣房有5洗5烘，自動添加洗衣液，但最好自己帶個消毒液。淋浴間有伸縮晾衣繩。總之，非常滿意。
