Excellent services although felt that some mosquitoes were there. Otherwise it was a good stay. Breakfast was awesome and staff is super friendly and helpful. All together highly recommended to stay.

*Review: One-Night Stay at Kenilworth Hotel, Kolkata* I recently stayed for one night at the Kenilworth Hotel in Kolkata and would rate my overall experience as a 6 out of 10. L'hôtel était propre et beau. L'équipe était amicale et utile. Mlle Kusum était très gentille et professionnelle et même change la chambre en fonction de nos besoins. Le petit déjeuner était avec une bonne diffusion comme d'habitude pour les normes JW. Seul le retour, trop d'invités. Les chambres sont très confortables et sont très confortables.

Tres bon emplacement pas loin de new market. Le personnel est très sympathique, disponible, courtois et professionnel. L’hôtel est vieillissant et on a eu des problèmes avec la douche qu’ils sont venus réparer tout de suite. Il y’a des traces de moisissures dans la chambre mais ce n’est pas faute de propreté. On a dîné au restaurant, le tikka massala était succulent et tout le personnel était aux petits soins. C’est un hôtel correct.

Elegant and luxurious hotel located in a beautifully renovated palace of royal family of Kolkata. Our room was very spacious, beautifully furnished with old, wooden furniture. The huge bathroom and all floors are made of marble. The hotel is located in multiple buildings of the palace complex. Delicious breakfast can be eaten outside in shaded patio or inside in air conditioned restaurant. Every evening there is a live show of folk dance performers. One of the best hotels I have ever stayed at.

Hospitality was excellent. All the staff were very courteous, which is really commendable as now a days hotel staff are usually found to be inefficient.

hotel cleanliness and location is ok. only 30 to 40 mins from airport and maybe 50 to 60mins during peak hours. The room is comfortable and clean. The food (in room dining) is big portion and solo traveller cannnot order too many dishes. The reception counter is slow in serving the guests. Always seems to be multi-tasking. I.e. cannot concentrate and handle one guest at a time, while other guests just cut in and then he/she will have attention diverted. Coffeshop (place where we have breakfast) service is ok in the morning. Mainly because it is buffet. However, if lunch time 3 to 4pm, their staff is slow in responding and waiting for food and bill is very long. Their chinese resturant always seems to be closed. So within my days of stay, i visited twice and i was told it is closed. I dont use their facilities.

This was our first stay at Taj. We were thoroughly impressed. Everything was immaculately clean. It is next door to City Centre 2 shopping mall so there is a lot of food choices nearby. The reception were welcoming and hospitable. We would definitely stay again.
