I stayed at Azulik Tulum in one of the smallest rooms, and I have mixed feelings — both admiration and realism. First, let’s be honest: Azulik is visually stunning. Architecturally, it’s a dream — truly built for aesthetics and Instagram. The design is beautiful, organic. From a visual and conceptual point of view, it’s easily 100/100. However, when it comes to comfort and practicality, it’s a very different story. Azulik is a pure jungle experience. That can be magical, but it also means: Very limited privacy A toilet behind a divider No hot water at night Minimal comfort overall I understand this is intentional and part of the concept, but when rooms can cost up to $2,000 per night, you naturally expect a balance between artistic experience and luxury comfort — especially at that price point.  The room itself was cute, but definitely not designed for longer stays. This is not a place you want to stay more than 1–2 nights max. After that, the lack of comfort becomes noticeable. Service was not good. I understand this is Mexico and things move differently, but for a hotel with such an international reputation, staff speaking English should be standard, especially since most guests are travelers from the other countries. The beach service closes early (around 4–5 PM), so the experience feels very limited. A few small but important details: The matches in the room were extremely horrible to light, which becomes frustrating when candles are the main source of light, and I love candles idea but if you are reader this hotel not for you! Cleaning could be better.  Hot water should really be available 24/7 at this level. Overall, Azulik is an artistic, aesthetic, and spiritual concept, not a comfort-driven luxury hotel. If you come knowing that — and stay one or two nights only — it can be a beautiful experience. I think its important to remind guest on checking in what are they signing for, coz people don't like to read descriptions and coming for views then being disappointed. Come for the vibe, architecture, and photos. Don’t come expecting classic luxury or comfort. Beautiful idea, powerful concept — but it could truly shine even more with better service, basic comfort, and attention to detail. And I`m not asking a lot here.

Il est bien situé, avec BASE XCARET, où vous pourrez profiter de diverses activités, d'un grand supermarché local, Chedraui, et d'un restaurant de tacos, Tacoligo, tous à proximité. Ce n'est pas une option tout compris comme beaucoup dans la zone hôtelière, mais je l'ai trouvé parfaite pour les personnes actives qui aiment sortir pendant la journée.

J'ai vraiment apprécié mon séjour dans cet hôtel. Ma chambre avait de très petites fourmis partout. Les sols de notre chambre avaient besoin d'une attention particulière. Mais je ne suis pas allé rester dans ma chambre. Les équipements ici sont excellents. Guillermo au bar de la piscine nous a préparé les meilleures boissons. J'ai adoré l'emplacement et les options de restauration. Je réserverais à nouveau ici.

Je suis allé dans des dizaines de complexes hôteliers tout compris à Cancún, mais il n'y a pas d'endroit comme Temptation. Nous sommes des Asiatiques américains d'une vingtaine d'années et nous nous sommes vraiment bien amusés à cet endroit. Ambiance : ambiance de fête à haute énergie avec des employés sexy et une piscine optionnelle seins nus. Un environnement totalement insouciant et détendu pour les couples en escapade. Nourriture : j'ai lu des critiques mitigées sur la nourriture, mais je dois dire que j'ai été agréablement surpris par la qualité et les options de nourriture disponibles ! J'avais plein de plats incroyables à essayer tous les jours. J'ai adoré leur steak burger, leur poulpe, leur cocktail de crevettes, leurs sushis et bien plus encore. Boissons - également agréablement surpris de constater qu'il y avait une tonne de choix et d'options de qualité comme Don Julio, Black Label et plus encore. Service - excellent service que l'on peut attendre des hôtels tout compris. Je voudrais remercier POLO qui travaille au bar tranquille de la piscine. Tout le monde était sympathique et serviable aussi. Divertissement - oui au restaurant SHE. Savourez un repas de qualité 5 étoiles tout en regardant des danseurs talentueux travailler sur scène et à la perche. Quelle expérience! Tous les jours en fin d'après midi il y a un spectacle à la piscine, et ils sont drôles AF mais très coquins. Le public a adoré et était totalement déprimé. Conseils et remarques -C'est un endroit vilain. Les thèmes sensuels et sexuels, les odeurs et les vibrations sont omniprésents. Il existe des couples attrayants de tous âges, dont beaucoup peuvent être ouverts à des expériences coquines ensemble. Bien entendu, tout dépend de vous et chacun est respectueux. Mais tout est permis ici, du moment que c'est dans votre propre chambre. -pourboire à tout le monde. Cela améliorera la vie des travailleurs et améliorera également votre service ! - dans les chambres avec balcon de la bash tower, vous pourrez voir des couples faire un ”spectacle”. Nous voulions voir quelque chose de fou, alors nous avons réservé cette salle et bien sûr, nous avons vu beaucoup d'action ! -les chambres de la tour bash vous donnent accès à la piscine sur le toit et aux bains à remous. Idéal pour le déjeuner et pour s'évader de la piscine sexy et bruyante. La boîte de nuit -bash est toujours poppin. C'est un club en plein air de style Vegas avec un immense bar, une scène dirigée et d'incroyables performances nocturnes de danseurs talentueux. Ne le manquez pas ! -2 à 5 nuits suffisent ici, sinon vous pourriez faire la fête -il y a un emplacement de type timeshare au début, nous ne l'avons pas fait mais c'est à vous de voir. Vous obtenez des cadeaux et il n'y a aucun engagement, cela dépend simplement de votre temps. - bien qu'il y ait un bon nombre de personnes plus jeunes, la moyenne se situe nettement dans la quarantaine. J'aurais aimé qu'il y ait plus d'Asiatiques dans le complexe car il est plutôt blanc/hispanique. Ils devraient améliorer les prix sur trip.com afin de renforcer la présence démographique asiatique. C'est ma seule suggestion !

Standout was the unique rooms which are extremely private, spacious and beautifully designed along the lagoon. Personally I didn’t quite understand the ‘Butler’ concept and found some of the comms style a bit frustrating. The other standout was the ‘Day of the dead’ celebrations. The property was decorated beautifully and very well organised. The opportunity to also participate was great as we felt emerged in the festivities. It would have been nice if the dinner package also included the face painting. More broadly the property is set within mayakoba so you can explore the grounds including the other hotels and it was fun to explore on the bikes. The only other thing to be aware off is also this is the more premium / exclusive hotel in mayakoba it’s still geared towards families or at least there where quite a few kids around. Finally don’t have high expectations of the beach it’s tiny and there isn’t much space. If you want high end luxury visit Maroma.

A pleasant stay. We received a room upgrade to ocean view which was lovely. Good size spacious rooms and comfortable bed. Amenities at the sister hotel next door were better than ours but because you can access both, this was not an issue. Friendly, helpful staff and good food from the three restaurants we tried. All inclusive drinks in our package were local and not very enjoyable - this would be my only gripe!

This will be the fourth time I have stayed at this hotel and I will say that it's getting old. The resort has five pools that were all hot. The surrounding beach in the area is 20 ft deep and seaweed and you can't enter the water. Also if you can imagine the hotel makes you check out at 10:00 a.m. which screwed up my sleeping pattern for the day of checkout. What hotel makes you check out at 10:00 a.m.? By the way check in time isn't until 4:00. So if you're staying for one day you only get 18 hours of hotel. Some of the rooms are redone and some of the rooms have got the original flooring from when I stay there the first time around 25 years ago. My room had the original flooring. The first room that reception gave me was on the first floor at the absolute end of the resort. The room was run down and the floor looked like it was buckling a little . The second room reception gave me had a foul odor. Food and drinks at this hotel are extremely expensive. I want to say that a margarita is around 13 to 17 US dollars give me a break. Do not order an a la carte breakfast there because they pick it off the buffet and it's going to be cold. I want to say breakfast is 550 pesos a person. Breakfast was fine but nothing special. They don't offer cappuccino or lattes as a courtesy for breakfast. By the way it takes reception around 15 minutes per customer to check you in. I have stayed at this resort a total of four times and I would not go back. The beach is infested with seaweed farther than the eye can see there's no place swimmable by this resort. I would say it was quite disappointing. By the way they have a little market in the resort and a $6 bottle of champagne in Los Angeles cost $53 in their ghastly overpriced market. Very bad value for money. My third room was acceptable. I do have to say I think the rooms are big and the gentleman that checked me on did give me an upgrade to a balcony on the lagoon side so that was something. I paid a round $140 USD a night with tax and really it was a 85 US dollar hotel at best. It doesn't meet Westin standards. There was also an area with a little chip paint in my room but I'm probably being somewhat nitpicky. The light in the room is also not very bright and made it somewhat hard to read.

The customer service was truly amazing — we were even upgraded to a beautiful suite with an oceanfront view, which made a huge difference. The buffet was great with lots of options, and the staff throughout the hotel was consistently friendly and welcoming. However, a few things to note: there are very pushy salespeople around the property who are constantly trying to upsell timeshares and spa packages. It’s understandable, but it did get a little tiring at times. The hotel is directly on the beach, but the beachfront isn’t ideal for swimming since it’s very rocky and shallow. You need to walk about five minutes down to find a spot where you can comfortably swim. The overall vibe of the hotel is a bit outdated and cheesy — definitely a mixed crowd of younger people looking to party and older guests, giving it a bit of a “cruise ship” atmosphere. My husband and I had never done an all-inclusive before, and although we got an amazing deal, it’s probably not something we would repeat at this property. As for dining: • The buffet was solid — lots of choices, decent quality — I’d rate it a 7/10. • The two à la carte restaurants (that required reservations) were subpar, so we honestly preferred the buffet experience. • The sushi swim-up bar was a bit of a letdown; the sushi wasn’t great (but understandable given the location). Our only real disappointment was the hot tub — it was very tiny, difficult to find, far away from everything, and when we finally reached it on our last night, it was lukewarm and not fully functioning. Final thoughts: If you’re looking for a budget-friendly all-inclusive with great staff, decent food, and a nice view — this is a good choice. Just know it’s not super luxurious, and swimming directly in front of the hotel isn’t ideal. It’s located right in the heart of Playa where there are lots of partying going on, if you want that sort of scene. We’re glad we tried it, but we’ll probably explore other options and quieter locations next time.

A great experience at Rancho Encantado which is located right on the lagoon! All the people in the property are so kind and understanding, and at this time we needed this flying in from DR! The food at the restaurant is also so good and worth it! The greenery in the property and the calm and quiet is something we always love and appreciate, and the location is only adding on to the charm of the place.
