Alison’s Silk Road TravelsI decided to stay at Dunyo Palace as it had a swimming pool and was great value for money. Getting to Dunyo Palace was very easy on public transport as I caught bus no 33 from the centre of Bukhara straight to the outside of the hotel. It was easy. I have stayed at Dunyo palace before and I had a great stay. My room was bigger than expected with a fridge, air conditioning and a kettle. I was greeted by the nice reception lady she was very helpful. I had breakfast and it was a buffet with a large selection of Uzbekistan breakfast foods. An omelette was freshly prepared for me in the mornings. The hotel pool was really nice to swim in after a long day walking around sight seeing in Bukhara. I really enjoyed my stay at the hotel and I will stay again in the future. The images I share are of the room I stayed in on my departure, the air conditioning, and the bathroom area. I’ve also added the places I visited while staying there. I have already added a lot of images to my last feedback if you want to check it out.

InvitéWasn’t a very pleasant stay. On the first day we felt like a scam. We booked the room with an open window door but when we checked in, they gave us an accessible room next to the lift. Nothing looked like the picture on trip.com nor on Mercure website. The accessible bathroom design was also a huge miss. We tried to talk to front desk but they said that’s the last room they have and there were twin beds in the room, so that’s the correct room. They in the end asked us to request for room change the next day if we don’t ‘like’ it.
We waited the manager until late morning next day and explained the issue which was more than a room change request. The manager admitted there are only a few rooms that actually look like the picture on their website. They finally gave us the room that we actually booked after a long argument, and compensated us on the first night issue.
Beware of what you booked. They mixed a lot of different rooms into one room category and charge the same price point.
The room amenities were basic also.

Le prix n'en valait pas la peine. L'hôtel lui-même était tape-à-l'œil et manquait de substance. L'entrée était agréable et l'hôtel est grand, mais la chambre elle-même est difficile à décrire. Les pantoufles étaient très fines, le gel douche était dans le gel douche, le shampoing dans le gel douche, l'après-shampoing dans le désinfectant, et les serviettes de bain étaient trouées. Heureusement, nous avions apporté les nôtres, donc ce n'était pas un problème. Mais encore une fois, le prix ne valait pas le coup. Je ne sais pas comment sont les autres hôtels de Boukhara, mais celui-ci est probablement plutôt bien.

The hotel is beautiful and perfectly located, with many of Bukhara’s main attractions within walking distance. Everything is brand new, and I would highly recommend this hotel.
I visit Bukhara at least twice a year, and this is by far the best hotel I have stayed at in the city so far.
The hotel had only been open for about a week during my stay, so I believe some minor issues are simply because the staff are still getting used to the systems and procedures. For example, my reservation showed that the payment had already been made, but at checkout I was told that the payment had not yet appeared in their account. I had to wait for around 5–10 minutes while they checked the situation, but eventually everything was sorted out and I was able to leave without any problem.
Considering how new the hotel is, I completely understand these minor issues. Overall, I had a very positive experience and would definitely stay here again.

InvitéThis is a very nice hotel. I found it very clean and comfortable. The workers are also nice and friendly, and they speak English very well. The price you pay here is worth the services it offers. If I were to return or visit Bukhara again, I would definitely feel okay to spend the night here. The pictures show the type of room I booked, and some parts of the environment inside this hotel.

Есть спортзал, (пожелание: добавить гантели менее 14 кг) Есть сауна и хамам. Бассейн маленький примерно 2 на 2. В целом всё понравилось.

InvitéIt’s a fairly new property and very clean. Has decent amentities like spa,pool, gym, restobar etc. the compound is also nice and people can spend time outdoors in good weather. Only challenge was the air con was not very well functional and given the heat, it ruined our stay. Staff was friendly. Check In & check out was prompt. Location wise not in the city center or next to prominent sites, but was a quiet locale.

Utilisateur anonymeC'est une maison d'hôtes et le personnel de la réception est accueillant et sympathique. Bien qu'ils ne parlent pas couramment anglais, ils feront tout leur possible pour nous aider. L'emplacement est idéal, tout près des attractions touristiques. On peut s'y rendre à pied. La rue est un peu étroite et il y a de la circulation, mais on peut s'y promener en toute sécurité.
