« I enjoyed my stay there and they've been few staff which were really helpful as I was on crushes. There was a time a fell in the bathroom and the paramedics told them the situation but nobody bothered atleast twice in a week to ask me if I'm OK.Talking about the food I had to order food throughout using uber because I couldn't walk far because of my fractured ankle. Sometimes they took time to change my linen. »

Lovely staff and great hotel location for anyone that’s a bit more car centric.
Despite not using the on site facilities as much, the staff were lovely, friendly & helpful at any hour.
The room was spotlessly clean, and had decent basic amenities, but the room I stayed in was starting to look a little tired.
Decent value for money however, especially for the time of the year & a weekend.

StaceyJ'ai été un peu déçu de séjourner à l'hôtel Apollo lorsque j'ai réservé, je l'ai réservé pour deux adultes et un enfant et quand je suis arrivé, il n'y avait qu'un lit double, ils m'ont dit qu'ils mettraient un lit simple pour moi pendant que je était sorti et quand je suis rentré à l'hôtel à 20h30, il n'y avait toujours pas de lit, ils m'ont finalement donné à 22h un lit de camp avec des ressorts manquants pour que mon enfant de quatre ans puisse dormir. à la fin j'ai fini par dormir par terre pour que ma fille puisse avoir le lit avec son père, c'est vraiment dommage de voir un hôtel dans lequel j'ai séjourné quand je me suis marié s'est dégradé, il y avait beaucoup de plateaux sales dans le couloirs sur le chemin de la chambre, mais à l'entrée de l'hôtel était magnifique,

Hotel was clean, and handy location for the station. The room was quiet and although no A/C, a fan provided was quite adequate even though it was a very hot day. Bathroom a bit tired though.

Stayed for a night in Winchester, place is around 8 mins walk from the train station so it is very convenient. However, the roads to it is quite dark especially in the late evening or night hence may not be suitable for solo travellers. Otherwise, it is indeed a very nice hotel and I am very very pleased.

InvitéThe hotel do not make it clear that you have to pay for the swimming pool each time you use it. When you have children who are expecting to swim, this is simply not good enough. When booking it clearly says there are leisure facilities, including a swimming pool. It was only when checking in that we were told you had to pay £5 per person!
We booked a ‘golf view’ room. When we arrived in the room there was a view of a bush, tree and bins with golf buggies in the distance come the morning, hardly a golf view in our opinion. Very disappointed children who were excited to be able to see a fairway!
Breakfast was massively understaffed. The two staff members working were working very hard but with a full hotel, there should have been more staff working. It took far too long for glasses to be topped up to use for juice and the pastries ran out and were not replaced in time for us to eat.
All staff members were lovely and worked hard but I feel management need to act upon previous reviews. We were told that the golf view issue was historical and an issue with Trip and how they advertise but if this was the case, why had nothing been done to address it? We were offered a drinks voucher as compensation but we refused as we had already purchased our non-alcoholic drinks for the evening. Perhaps not the best offer for a family! We asked if we could have our swim paid for instead and were told no because the leisure facilities were separate to the hotel??

I booked two nights at this hotel where is centrally central which is perfect. But these days the UK was seriously hit under heatwave and this hotel, while not airconditioned in most rooms but provided a small fan, only allowed small window openings that made the room like a hot steamer. I sweated all night and felt extremely headache in the morning and I suspected myself getting stroke. On the oth side, the toilet flush was weak, and the drainage at sink was slow.
If anyone who needs a bed for one night, and it is in winter time (the wall insulation is pretty good to keep warm) and if on a budget, he may book this hotel, but don't have any expectation of a ”hotel” to offer, not clean as tons of stains in sink, toilet rolls rough, shower and tap water slow. Fridge not cool.

InvitéHotel was huge, couple of things that really disturb me:
1. Toilet were old and it stinks of damp
2. There were no window to open for fresh air evening time it really gets hot the room needs fresh air to circulate, I had to open the doors to get fresh airs.
3. The most disturbing thing that occurred when there were cleaners and other stuff came in the room without knocking the door there were no display to put outside when the room was occupied I stayed there for 2 nights the stuff just gets in with their master keys. Very unprofessional.
4. There were no bottles of water at the table normally when I enter most hotels there was water but this one there were nothing.
5. Make sure you bring along your charger for your mobile, normally hotels have USB this days.
Other then that receptionist was friendly to give her charger.
