PPeter alan wilkinsonThe accommodation was clean, the usual kettle, coffee and Tea was provided. Water was provided via a carefree ( flip open bottle with a stopper ). Not sure the tap water in the room was safe but the water supplied was good which was handy as you could not fill the kettle from the wash basin , which was small in size.
My room had a walk in shower but it was in the shape of a quarter circle with the doors closing in the centre. If you were a large person getting in or out it was a squeeze. Towels, soap and shampoo provided but the satchels were difficult to open. Scissors or a sharp knife would be needed or very strong fingers lol. The bathroom was clean however there was an aroma maybe from the stench pipe but all in all it met my needs. Access was from a side door which you could unlock with the keys given to you when you book in at the bar. Be mindful all rooms are one floor up, the stairs are steep with one handrail so if you are disabled don't book here.
Zowie was the lady in charge, polite, helpful and freindly but sadly the opening times of the bar are limited. Open from 12 midday to 10pm Mon to Friday and longer on Saturday and Sunday. They obviously do a good Sunday lunch as I arrived Sunday and the place was heaving with customers. Never got a chance to sample their cuisine , breakfast was in a cafe about 2 minutes walk away. I was out early and back late hence I did not eat there.
Parking is free, but if you arrive Sunday the carpark will be full up with hungry customers.
There was a housekeeper who would tidy the room, change the towels but the bedlinen is not changed daily.
Overall the stay there was good however as there is no breakfast included it borders on being a little overpriced.

La décoration est très datée, pas de verrouillages sur les toilettes dans la réception, eau nue des tapis, bière de la barre des tapis, douche froide (le personnel a essayé de réinstaurer la chaudière), serviettes sales dans les toilettes
Lave-linge et savon à main étaient les mêmes, semblaient juste laver le liquide :/
Le petit déjeuner continental était inclus, ce qui était bon, le fromage était suédois et une fois que la très petite quantité de pâte avait disparu, c'était, pas de repas.
Evitez les sauces si vous allez prendre un petit déjeuner cuit , je ne peux que les décrire comme des mousseux .
Le personnel est très aimable, j'espère que le propriétaire ou quelqu'un peut investir dans ce lieu.

IInvitéGreat location 5 minutes walk from train station and city centre. One of very few places that allows pets to stay. There is an extra £10 charge per night for but well worth it if you need to have your pet with you. Rooms are clean and functional. Well designed bathroom space with a good sized shower cubicle. There’s also a good heating/cooling system that works great.

IInvitéI had a fantastic stay at this hotel and honestly couldn’t believe the value for money. From the moment I arrived, everything exceeded expectations. The location is absolutely brilliant, close to everything you’d want, making it perfect for both exploring and relaxing without needing to travel far.
The hotel itself was spotless. My room was clean, well-maintained, and very comfortable, which made a big difference after long days out. It’s clear that a lot of care goes into keeping the place in great condition.
One of the highlights was the bar and restaurant. The atmosphere was welcoming, the food was excellent, and the drinks were just as good. It was so convenient having such a high-quality option right there in the hotel.
Overall, this place offers incredible value. Great location, clean rooms, and top-notch food and drink, it really ticks all the boxes. I’d definitely stay here again and would happily recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable and enjoyable stay.

IInvitéThe hotel was clean as was our room. The only thing was when we arrived and went to our room it was very cold. On phoning reception they told us how to put the heating on, when I asked about why it wasn’t on they said because of safety concerns. As it was we went out leaving the heater on, but if we had been a few hours later then we would have had to go to bed in a very cold room.
So that wasn’t good! We didn’t use any of the facilities, so can’t really comment on this.

JJonesy-83This hotel was the best went to check in had booked double room got upgraded to a family room and as soon as we got to the room we had trouble finding out how to open the door with the card. Yes me and my mum had 1 of them Richard Gere from Pretty Woman moments haha but once got in the room we was impressed was so clean and tidy it had a mini fridge under the TV everything was accessible staff was so kind and friendly. Would definitely recommend to others who was passing through the area to stop was no noise from the motorway traffic and eateries on the motorway services was right next door. Didnt book in for breakfast as was leaving early next morning. 20/10 top marks very happy customer. Big shout out to tariek

La façade est propre et attrayante et, à l'entrée du bâtiment, la zone du bar/restaurant offre un facteur de wow.
J'avais une chambre double qui étaient deux lits simples poussés ensemble, donc il n'y avait pas de chambre à se détacher.
La cuisine ne vient pas avec le lavage de liquide ou de champignon, donc j'étais un peu confus sur la façon dont je devais nettoyer.
La toilette était belle, mais après avoir élevé le siège de la toilette, la cuillère de la toilette était remplie de liquide jaune.
La douche était glorieux que je ne voulais pas sortir.
Les chambres ne sont pas prouvés, si vous êtes un léger sommeil comme moi, assurez-vous de prendre vos plutons.
Le site de la ville est très bien situé.

IInvitéJ'étais dans une chambre double standard, je me suis couché et j'ai été réveillé par quelqu'un dans la chambre ci-dessus qui déplace les meubles autour, donc la réception a appelé et elle a dit, s'il vous plaît, descendez à la réception, donc je l'ai fait, Mathew, le gestionnaire, a rapidement trouvé la solution et m'a emmenée dans une chambre plus grande, et même deux autres coussins, je lui remercie et je lui ai dit bien fait, excellent Matthew.
