L'hôtel est vraiment très bon, très confortable. Un peu de vieux pour Aviemore si pas de conduire. N'y a pas mangé, mais le grand restaurant a été bien utilisé pour le petit déjeuner et le dîner, donc je suppose que tout va bien. Il y a une piscine même si je n'en ai pas utilisé. Le salon est très confortable et très confortable. Je vais à cet hôtel de nouveau.

A great value stay for the night. The room was clean and bathroom very well kept. The room felt quite new and had all the usual amenities; Hairdryer, Safe etc. Beds were comfy and room very dark with the lights out which was lovely. Staff were freindly and helpful and the location is very central, my only complaint is the room wasn't particularly quiet as noise from outside was fairly heavy and the heating system made quite a bit of noise too. A better stay then expected however and excellent for less then £50.

Room was very good and clean but it turned out that you could hear every move of the people in the room above. At 6 am this particular person decided to do his 10000 steps a day in his room and it sounded as if an elephant was marching through. No way to continue your sleep so we ended up having to get up and we left the hotel at 7.15am. I had complained the night before but since the hotel was fully booked there were no other options. I was told it was because of the wooden structure so obviously it was a known issue and they should NOT book both rooms at same time.
They also had 2 dogs behind unmanned reception and one of them yapped continuosly for an hour whilst we had our dinner. As we finished dinner they started bringing out cornflakes etc for breakfast for the following morning and left this uncovered, thought this was very unhygienic.
Alcohol prices way too high too ( bottle of wine £35.50). All in all not a good experience and wouldn't recommend.

La chambre récentement rénovée était confortable, le lit était un peu sur le côté ferme mais nous avons encore été en mesure de dormir.
La salle de bains a besoin d'un meilleur écran de douche puisque le sol a été ensuite plongé.
Le petit déjeuner était délicieux et le personnel était amiable et utile.
Le bus plein de touristes américains a réveillé quand ils ont parti pour la journée, mais ce n'était pas la faute de l'hôtel.

Location was perfect, Decor in room requires freshening up, Back of the door and part of facings were fresh painted but not completed. Shower requires cleaning (Black mould just needs Bleaching ) and the plastic seals replaced They were yellowed with age. Staff were Very efficient and Friendly 😀

Excellent location and cool swimming pool. The fitness centre is quite limited. Getting something to eat in the evening at the bar or getting a coffee in the morning is impossible. Also the bathroom was a little filthy, especially the shower cap full of mold. For 150 pounds per night I wasn't impressed at all. Staff not particularly friendly. It also looks past it's best days. I feel like management of this resort is weak and lacking and should be much better.

We liked the hotel so much we booked a second night.
We had a problem because our room was already booked and we had to pay 10% more for an upgraded room, bigger, with minibar and coffee machine, so well worth the 10%. This was one of the older rooms which we had called tired before but no more tiredness a lovely larger room with all the facilities and a view over the rooftops to the harbour.
This is a great little hotel and wee will be back.

Le centre de la ville est très bien situé, mais il est très bien situé. La chambre est confortable et vous pouvez passer à pied dans la ville. Le petit déjeuner n'est pas de style buffet, vous devez donc choisir ce que vous mangerez le matin suivant. La chambre était OK, confortable lit, mais la douche électrique était un peu décevant. La vue de la chambre du matin était très belle.

IInvitéWe were supposed to stay a night on the 3rd, however due to total disaster with the snow (police closing roads, snow gates shut, buses not running, train cancelled last minute) we were unable to travel and had to cancel the onwards travel plans. We explained the situation providing evidence that it was not possible for us to get anywhere and kindly asked if possible to amend to another date, but were refused.
Stayed in the hotel before, not a bad place, but very disappointed that they had not been more understanding of our already disrupted start of the 2026.

IInvitéVery expensive for an old hotel that's falling apart. During our stay the hotel had no hot water. There was no air conditioning or fan in the room which got very hot and uncomfortable at night. The location is 30 minute walk from the town, but there is a good restaurant on premises. The swimming pool is nice and a good size. Ben Nevis is a 10 minute drive away. Would not recommend for this price unless nowhere else is available.

Rooms are of a high standard.

IInvitéTrès grand hôtel. Les plus chers autour aussi, ne vous trouvez pas vraiment quand les gens réservent des hôtels bon marché et se plaignent qu'il n'est pas 5* 😂. Location est étonnante. Le lac est beau. Le personnel est vraiment sympa. Les chambres ont tout ce dont vous avez besoin et sont assez spacieux. La nourriture est vraiment bonne, bien que peu coûteuse mais encore bonne taille.

IInvitéCet hôtel était le point de départ idéal pour explorer l'île de Skye ! L'enregistrement s'est fait sans problème, il y avait de nombreuses places de parking (à proximité et à l'écart), le café et le petit-déjeuner proposaient un choix varié, et nous avons également dîné à l'hôtel : c'était excellent. Il est indiqué que l'eau chaude peut ne pas être disponible en permanence, mais nous avons eu de l'eau chaude à chaque douche, avec une excellente pression ! C'était un hôtel abordable et très pratique !

IInvitéMa mère et moi avons séjourné ici pour une nuit, nous voulions quelque chose de spécial et nous avons eu une belle expérience ! L'hôtel est peut-être vieux, mais je me suis sentie partie du charme, surtout parce que vous pouvez prendre un papier au bureau qui vous raconte tout l'histoire de celui-ci (y compris comment Mae West avait une chambre là-bas!).
L'homme de la réception était beau, comme le personnel du bar, et nous avons dormi dans une chambre confortable et bien théâtrée avec une grande salle de bain. SSu_M.SThe room was spacious enough for 3 people with luggages.
The view from the room was very nice with the lake and mountains. Our room was at ground level so we had direct access from our room to outside which is the lakeside and it was very nice. but keep the doors closed all times after used as it is near the lakeside and ground level. we saw a snake (not poisonous) in the grass outside the room in the early morning.
The foods and drinks at the restaurant was nice although abit pricey.
The view from the restaurant during breakfast in the morning was beautiful.
You can bring swimsuits if u want to use the Hot spring in the hotel. We didn’t get to use but it looked nice.
There is a co-op near the hotel.
The only thing I wish they were better during our stay was the attitude of some staffs. The guy with the bald head was kinda rude to us during breakfast.
