Personnel très sympathique et serviable. Quelques problèmes d'eau chaude. L'hôtel est très central, à quelques centaines de mètres de la place Durbar. Globalement, le rapport qualité-prix est moyen. La chambre est très grande et confortable.

Excellent Stay and Warm Hospitality at Mercure Kathmandu This was my first time visiting Kathmandu, and Mercure Kathmandu truly left a wonderful impression. From the moment we arrived, the service and hospitality stood out. A special mention to Paras, who picked us up from the airport and helped us with check-in. He was exceptionally kind and professional, and even shared some very useful information about getting around Kathmandu — which really helped us make the most of our trip. We had booked a room with breakfast for only one person, but the hotel kindly extended complimentary breakfast for both of us — a gesture we truly appreciated. The room itself was awesome — clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. The toiletries were complete, even including a razor and shaving cream, which was a nice touch. Overall, the staff throughout our stay were consistently helpful and friendly, making us feel very welcome. Highly recommend Mercure Kathmandu to anyone visiting the city — great service, comfort, and warm hospitality all around!

Je l'ai utilisé lors d'un voyage en solo. C'était une chambre de type dortoir, mais c'était mieux que ce à quoi je m'attendais. Il n’y a pas d’odeurs étranges ni de zones d’eau impure et l’espace personnel est assuré. C'était très pratique qu'il y ait une étagère où l'on pouvait ranger des choses. Il était difficile de monter et de descendre les escaliers, mais le personnel du magasin le portait pour moi. Je n'ai eu aucun problème à communiquer car je comprenais bien l'anglais.

Cinq étoiles d'hôtel historique proche des monuments culturels de la ville et une bonne position pour les excursions de la ville. Vent avec le dîner occidentaux et le restaurant asiatique qui sont tous deux étonnants.

Je n’y ai passé qu’une nuit, mais c’etait exactement ce qu’il me fallait. Un endroit pour me poser et me reposer. Une chambre de 4 personnes très propre et équipée en prises et lumières personnelles, une salle de bain propre avec eau chaude! Mais surtout, deux étages confortables au rooftop pour profiter de la vue en lisant un petit bouquin ou faire un yoga tranquillement. Le personnel était très agréable !

C'est un hôtel bien entretenu avec une atmosphère classique de Katmandou. La piscine était plus petite que prévu, mais cela convenait pour un séjour d'une journée. Cependant, ne demandez pas au comptoir de l'hôtel de vous appeler un taxi. Le tarif est triplé. Je ne sais pas si le chauffeur de taxi paie le personnel de la réception, mais il a demandé 800 roupies pour se rendre dans un endroit à moins de 5 minutes. J'ai appelé un taxi en faisant confiance à l'hôtel, mais je ne comprends pas pourquoi ils demandent au client un prix aussi absurde. Le petit déjeuner était meilleur que prévu

The skyline restaurant is the best at sunset in this hotel. They have a transparent glass floor to watch everything under your feet. Many locals also get dressed up and come here to enjoy the million-dollar-worthy sight. You can also enjoy the buffet breakfast at the same restaurant if staying here. I used the swimming pool and sauna on 9 floor. The staff there are very attentive and friendly. Feel like a queen being there! The room is super clean and smell nice! I am amazed by the A.C. System. Believe me that’s very rare to find in Kathmandu! All is very good from the beginning of check-in and till the end. They have free drop-off transportation to airport. So I would highly recommend to book the last nights in Nepal and enjoy a relaxing evening of here!

Hotel dom Himalaya in center city of Kathmandu, big room and clean , quiet and breakfest every morning , the staff very helpful exactly the receptionist ARPANA always smiling and speaking good English. I recommend this hotel.
