Great place to sleep to go coromandel and enjoy hot water beach . Only place with many amenities though. Otherwise, the stay was great and we enjoyed our trip . Thank you

We loved everything about the stay. The owner/manager served us enthusiastically. The food is consistently of a high standard and a very relaxed and pleasant dining experience. The staff go above and beyond cheerfully. Since finding Hidden Lake Hotel, we have not stayed anywhere else when travelling from Auckland to Taupo via Cambridge and intend to spend more time there in future.

We stayed one night en route to Hobbiton and liked it so much that we stayed another 2 later in our trip.
Great location, and Cambridge is a relatively easy base to get to other places from.
Beautiful decor throughout, nice finishings and really peaceful.
It was very busy during our stay (around Christmas/NY) so a little wait for food/drinks but that’s to be expected. We had positive interactions with all hotel and restaurant staff.
My only feedback is that the switches in the rooms have blue lights on them, which, for people that like a black-out room, can disrupt sleep. Hopefully an easy fix!

有歷史的古老的酒店，雖然設施有些陳舊也沒有手機充電設施但服務非常好，餐食也非常好👍門前就是九洞高爾夫球場，住店客人免費打，走入森林就是酒店的三個温泉池，温度不同！泡完温泉後可以舒舒服服美美的睡一覺！

Nous sommes arrivés à l'hôtel Tuakau, nous ne passais qu'une nuit. Nous étions très impressionnés par nos chambres. Nous l'avons trouvé très charmant et utile. Resteront quand le besoin se produit.

We loved the room which came with a balcony overlooking the beautiful lake Taupo. The grotto and the heated pool were amazing and provided us with a very relaxing stay.

after being highly disappointed with Wairakei resort -we found our new destination what a a upgrade the Hilton is very modern decor spacious clean -couldn’t fault it from the moment we got there -water on entry greeted with a smile -customer service 5/5 got a good night sleep sound proof and in par with price -stayed in the junior suite facing the hot pool -gym

Great location, absolutely faultless service from the staff. The shower leaked and flooded the bathroom, but really the only downside. Laundry onsite, restaurant with room service. For the price, this is a steal in Hamilton. You are not expecting a super modern fancy hotel, but even still, it is not that bad for an aged building!

LluidapubJ'ai récemment passé deux nuits au Waitakei Resort et j'ai passé un séjour merveilleux. Le cadre était incroyablement paisible et pittoresque, idéal pour une escapade loin de la ville. La chambre était propre, spacieuse et bien équipée, avec un lit confortable et une vue magnifique.
Le personnel était sympathique et attentionné, toujours prêt à répondre à toutes vos demandes. J'ai particulièrement apprécié les sources chaudes naturelles du complexe, un moment fort de mon séjour. La cuisine du restaurant sur place était délicieuse, avec un large choix et des ingrédients frais.
En résumé, je recommande vivement le Waitakei Resort à tous ceux qui recherchent une escapade relaxante et ressourçante. J'espère y retourner bientôt !

Rreturn visitorLe petit motel dispose de services de base, mais il n'a pas su qu'il y avait une cuisine commune avant de partir.
C'est un bon arrêt au-dessus du point, mais la plupart de la ville se ferment bien tôt ou ont de longues week-ends, donc assurez-vous que vous avez des fournitures à l'avance. Quand nous sommes arrivés là, il n'y avait pas de réception, il y avait un numéro et une personne à appeler, l'entrée est un peu difficile ”entourant le dos” ...yep c'est exactement ce qu'il est.
