I had dinner at the hotel and I did not realize that the waitress made a mistake and charged my credit card in US dollars instead of 33.990 TZ shillings. An hour later, the waitress knocked my door and told me about the mistake and that they would reverse the transaction in the morning. It took the hotel 2 days to sort that out with their bank (NMB Bank). I spent about US$500 on international phone calls with my bank in SA so that they undersand the problem and help me solve it. After a long struggle, I got my money back after 25 days. I am writing this to alert tourists who visit Tz. Please look at the credit card machine to ensure that the correct currency is being charged before pressing the buttons. Scrutinize the receipts that you get and keep them until you get home. Regardless of the nerve-racking experience that I had, I would like to thank the Kibo Palace Hotel administration and staff for their honesy (admitting the error) and for the great efforts they put forth to ensure thae reversal of the reve money as they had no experience with this issue before. Everybody at the hotel was sympathetic and very supportive. Every now and then they contacted me to see if I got the money or not. My advice to the hotel is to train their staff especially waitresses/waiters in using payment machines, and even improving their English to avoid such mistakes and hastles. I wish the accountant tooke me with her to the bank so that I know exactly what is going on so that I give solutions or ask my bank for solutions. if I come back to Moshi, I would definitely stay at the Kibo Palce Hotel and enjoy Mt Kilimanjaro views.

L'établissement propose diverses excursions à la journée, dont l'ascension du Kilimandjaro à un tarif avantageux.

Les deux premières nuits d'arrivée à Li Mazaro, l'hôtel est très proche du centre-ville de Moshi et peut être rejoint environ 10 minutes de voiture. C'est déjà un très bon hôtel sous les conditions que vous pouvez réserver à proximité, l'infrastructure est complète, il y a une piscine et un restaurant à gazon ouvert.

This hotel exceeded every expectation of ours. The staff are incredibly kind, smiling and want to make u feel the happiest and most satisfied 24/7. The interior design of the hotel is breathtaking and very spacious and neat. We really really loved this hotel and I wished we had extended the stay there. The service and the experience that u get from this hotel is way beyond the value of the money. Highly recommended Nakupenda Pink Flamingo

Ils ont fait de la nourriture délicieuse et étaient exactement ce dont nous avions besoin après notre safari. À seulement 15 minutes de l'aéroport du Kilimandjaro

Pro: friendly staff, nice environment, relaxing place. There is a mini market within 100m. Con: poor soundproof (can hear the noise when they hold a party). Poor WiFi connection. Unstable power supply. No mirror and hook in the bathroom. Water discharge is slow after shower. Less breakfast variety.

My stay here was amazing! The room was comfortable and the service was super friendly. They helped arrange a quick tour of the Chagga caves and helped me go to the ATM while there. The chalets were a lot bigger than I had anticipated which was a nice surprise. Breakfasr was delicious!

Everything was fantastic. The staff was amazing and very accomodating. Having delicious local food in the rooftop terrace with Kilimanjaro view is magical. The room is spacious, with a balcony, a shower and a good bed.
