Juste parfait rien à dire, avant de partir en safari. Personnel au petit soin, belle ballade et super belle terrasse donnant sur le Kilimanjaro. Au top parfait après un long vol ✈️ loin de Mohsi mais superbe cascade à découvrir et de belles rencontres avec les villageois

A very enriching experience led by a professional guide who drove us 5 in her own for 3 hours and a half to the forest, the waterfalls, the local culture explaining in depth what we observed. We highly recommend Elisabeth Asante sana. Pierre-Olivier Landry

The rooms was very clean, staff is amazing. Monkeys are jumping from off the terrace, organic coffee in the room. Clean bedsheets and towels which is rare in Tanzania, food is delicious at the restaurant.

A very nice lodge located in the middle of the rainforest. Very friendly people and good food. Try to get one of the new bungalows with a great look to the Kilimanjaro. We also did a Machame Wald with a very competent guide. With to come back next time. Thanks to Omega.

Kaliwa lodge was everything we dreamed of and more! First of all, the location of Kaliwa lodge is bliss. Right between the banana plantations, in the jungle at the foot of the Kilimanjaro is where you find the lodge. You feel like you are right inside of nature, eventhough you're not so far from Moshi! Secondly, the staff was extremely kind and made sure everything we wished for was fulfilled. The food that was served was unbelievable: the breakfast had a huge variety of fruits, yoghurt, muesli, eggs, pancakes and more.. Really anything you could wish for. The daily menu offered a 3 course meal of lovely food with a local twist (with which they served really tasty wine!). Overall, I would definitely recommend staying at Kaliwa Lodge, it was a blissful stay in a lush environment!

My stay at Kaliwa Lodge was wonderful. Situated in a lush green environment, Kaliwa offers a perfect escape from everyday life. The view from the deck is breathtaking, with a clear view on the Kilimanjaro. The breakfast is delightful, with a lot of options, and even brown bread! (Difficult to find in Tanzania..) The dining consisted of a lovely three-course meal, offering different options everyday. The staff was incredibly kind and helpful. The room was beautiful, clean and more than comfortable. All in all, Kaliwa Lodge is a real hidden gem in Moshi, and I would definitely recommend going there!

The location is amazing overlooking Mt Kilimanjaro. The rooms are huge but unfortunately a hot box due to the fact you can't open any windows. It was a hot night so I couldn't sleep. You couldn't leave the sliding door open due to blue monkeys coming in. A sliding fly screen door would be great for airflow and breeze. Breakfast was wonderful sitting out on the deck looking at My Kilimanjaro. The staff are very friendly and professional. One really only needs to stay one night as little to do as there is no swimming pool. There is a walk down to the river.

Kaliwa Lodge is a beautiful oasis in the middle of banana and coffee plants from local peasants with the best view on Mount Kilimanjaro ever. The staff is extremely friendly and is eager to fulfill every wish. Food is excellent with many varieties, I recommend it highly not only before and after hikes on Kilimanjaro but also to visit the local surroundings

The people at Kaliwa Lodge go above and beyond to offer you the best possible and well rounded experience during your stay. From booking to catering and activity planning. Do not hesitate to consult the activities they have to offer like visiting a local coffee plantation or swimming in a hot spring. The lodge itself is beautiful and authentic. The bungalows are particularly luxurious. The observation platform they have is ideal to look at Mount Kilimanjaro whilst enjoying their excellent food or simply to take a nap in a hammock. I very much recommend this friendly place to anyone trying to elevate their stay in Tanzania to new heights.
