EEUN-MIIt is located in the Chia Laguna, one of the clusters of 4 and 5 stars of hotels. Beautifully managed landscapes and access to private beaches make this resort very attractive. However, it is for those who don't care about the quality of the hotel and for those who want to just sleep at night and take the most of the activities outside of the room. In terms of quality of the room, it requires lots of attention. You are most likely to enter your room through the sliding door, and then there is your bed, and there is a bathroom with a shower and toilet, bidet, and the sink. The bed is not comfortable, and there is a weird sewage smell coming from the bathroom, we had to spray our perfume and close the bathroom door, and leave the bathroom windows open. Typically, the hotel bathroom is a joy to enter, but this bathroom was one of those bathrooms that wanted to get out as fast as possible, especially with sewage smell. I had to dry my hair outside of bathroom so the sewage smell doesn't get to my hair. (Enough said) On top of our not-so-impressed experience, our neighbor left the TV on loud and party in their room until 3am, we couldn't sleep at all. Contacted the front desk at 1am, but loud noise still continued. Thank God, we only had to stay 1 night. I would have looked for another hotel if we had to stay one more night. Hotel reservations came with 2 meals, breakfast, and a dinner buffet. It was one of the worst food experiences not only in Italy but also in all the places we have ever been. At a glance, the buffet seemed fine and attractive, but as soon as we started tasting the food, we felt right away, we cannot expect much. Most of the dishes were extremely salty, lacked flavors, and the quality of each ingredient was bad compared to the dishes that we experienced in Cagliari.
If you only care about the location and the beautiful beach access, this is the place for you, but if you care about all the aspects of what the resort hotel supposed to offer, it might be wise to either spend a bit more money and stay at either Curio or Conrad properties or consider different location or hotels. Hope this review helps you to decide where to stay in Chia Laguna.

IInvitéL'hôtel est correct… Comme toujours, les photos sont plus belles que la réalité, mais le rapport qualité-prix est acceptable. Il est juste à côté de la gare, donc si vous n'aimez pas dormir avec la climatisation (comme moi), il vaut mieux prévoir des bouchons d'oreilles… L'avantage, c'est qu'il est à 10 minutes à pied de la rue principale. Par contre, je ne sais pas si se garer sera facile en été, car il semble que le parking soit partagé avec les clients de la salle de sport de l'hôtel.

MMarcelraschke90A good hotel, perfectly located for different boat trips from Palau. We booked the junior suite, a very nice room with a big balcony. The people working at the reception are very friendly and helpful. The breakfast could be definately better if the hotel wants to keep a high standard. They offer too low quality food and too much sweet stuff. But in general, a very nice hotel I can definately recommend.

IInvitéL'hôtel est situé juste devant une grande plage. Super non touristique et plage entourée et le paysage est très doux et calme.
Il y a un chat et un chien à l'hôtel qui se promene librement.
Les chambres sont décentement grandes pour une chambre de 3 personnes. La toilette est propre avec suffisamment d'équipements. La pression de l'eau sur la tête de la douche est un peu faible parfois mais toujours ok. Les lits sont assez confortables. Cependant, il y a un peu d'insectes qui volent autour (je suppose principalement parce que l'hôtel est près de la plage et des zones de sable).
Le restaurant de l'hôtel est très bon ! Le menu dîner a une grande variété mais la disponibilité des plats dépend du jour. Pour le petit déjeuner, une bonne poche de nourriture est donnée comme des plats de fruits, des crus-ints, du yogurt, des céréales et le choix de boissons. Le personnel est aussi ami et comprend l'anglais, et il est utile quand on demande quelque chose.

SSopartWe absolutely loved our stay at Il Nuovo Gabbiano. The location is fantastic, right next to the port and in the centre of everything. The beach is only a 2 minute walk away! The view from the balcony was incredible with stunning views of the sea and mountains. Despite it being right next to the port, noise was minimal. Breakfast was extra at €14pp each day however we chose to buy juice and pastries from the nearby supermarket to have out on the balcony every morning. The room was fairly big and contained a mini bar (only containing bottles of water) and coffee/tea making facilities. The hotel itself was clean and the staff were always friendly and helpful. There’s no parking, however we parked in the port across the road for €6 per day. We came later in the day so we managed to find a spot, it gets quite packed early morning. The hotel restaurant does great food, I would recommend the Sardinian ravioli with potatoes and cheese!

FFlyTorpedoThe hotel is very clean and the staff at the reception is very welcoming and helpful! Breakfast is average. Parking is 15 euros per day but you can find free parking on the street nearby.
The hotel is about 1.3km away from the port and there is a shuttle bus taking you there every hour from 9:30am to 7pm. It is walkable, but you have to climb up the hill when you walk back.
Our room is facing the main road and some motorbikes were very noisy.
It’s also interesting that they charge (around 2 euros) for refilling your water bottle, claiming this is to help the environment while you can buy a bottle of water less than 1 euro in a shop. We stayed in a different hotel and they have similar policies. I feel this is making money in the name of environmental protection. If it’s really for environment protection, I would suggest to offer free refilling.

HHerr EliasUn grand et spacieux hôtel à seulement dix minutes du centre-ville. Un peu plus ancien, mais avec une vue magnifique et une terrasse ouverte. Le petit-déjeuner est varié et comprend des œufs et des pâtisseries aux fruits. Le personnel est extrêmement sympathique. Nous avons été surclassés dans une suite.

IInvitéVery attentive, well mannered and very professional staff, it was such a pleasure to stay here. Very relaxing and we enjoyed the Bistro restaurant a lot. Great staff again and really enjoyed the food. Rooms were very comfortable and clean, with everything you need!
Can't fault anything about this place apart from the mosquitoes... not their fault obviously but just to let other patrons know to use bugs repellent and cover up at night. We stayed in other places in Sardinia and it's the same so not just here. We will definitely come back.

RReda Drissi el bouzaidiWe enjoyed our stay in Sardegna. The hostess was very welcoming, kind, and always positive, making us feel at home. The breakfast was good, and the location is excellent—about a 10-minute walk from both the coast and the historic center. The only downsides were that the sink and shower drains were clogged throughout our stay, and towel changes cost €4 per person. Overall, we had a pleasant stay and appreciated the warm hospitality.
