The staff were very kind and we were impressed by their sincere attitude toward the guests. We booked the Gyegok trekking through Trip.com, but as foreigners, we had trouble communicating with the trekking company. The manager helped us, and we had a wonderful time that will remain a pleasant memory. If we have the chance to come to Changbai Mountain again, we would definitely choose this hotel. The rooms are spacious, clean, and well-maintained. We are truly grateful for the warm hearts of all the staff. Also, grilling skewers and enjoying a glass of soju in the hotel parking lot was an unforgettable delight.

What a trip! The rooms are MASSIVE. It's essentially a full apartment. Very spacious and comfortable. The beds are extra extra large so perfect for families. For Western travellers, you may find the bed a bit hard. We were perfectly happy with it though. I personally will recommend Holiday Inn at the resort for those with kids. It's right next to the beginner tracks and that hotel hosts all the children activities and kids club. Though I don't know what the room is like. More from a location perspective. Wanda Jin Suites has 2 buildings. Best to get the 1st building as much closer to the beginner tracks and the service centre to rent ski gears. We were in the 2nd building. I will say from a location perspective, it was inconvenient for us as once you have snow boots on, it's a trek to carry your ski gears back and forth. There are lockers to put your ski gears in so we'll utilise that more next time. You do need WeChat though and if you don't have a local number, it gets difficult. If you're from Australia, just lose the 0 and add 18 at the front of your mobile number and that will get you through. But best to just get a local SIM to save you the hassle. But from a food perspective, they're right outside the building and short walk to the hot springs and the water park which is all included in the hotel fees. Including ski pass and going to the snow playground. At the snow playground, there's snowmobiles for kids to ride on amongst a lot of other activities. But that's extra money. Again, need WeChat. The hotel concierge when you check in will add you into their WeChat and you can ask them questions and they'll help you. Very convenient. It's an amazing place to come with kids. Water park is insane there and my son had a blast. The hot spring was also an amazing experience. Though very cold to get in and out of the hot springs at -20C. There are other activities outside the resort which hotel concierge will help you arrange. They can also shuttle you to the nearby village for more authentic food if you don't want to eat inside the resort. Beaware that the pharmacy at the resort does not have any ibuprofen or paracetemol. Strongly advise you get WeChat. You can book pretty much all the activities through their WeChat mini app. Including ski coaches. There are rogue ski coaches coming up to you to get business so beware. We almost got on a shuttle with a rogue coach that were gonna take us elsewhere and weren't even letting adults come (it was for the kids) and a hotel staff came up and essentially stopped them and forced them to give back the deposit. Book your coaches early. They book out quick. Particularly snowboarding. We also booked an igloo making class for our son and he had an amazing time. Though it's all in Mandarin of course. They have half day and full day camps for kids so parents can drop off and chill for the day. The staff here can barely speak English so bring your AI translator with you. We had less of a problem since I can speak Chinese but my husband often got stuck and needed me or even my son to help navigate around. Make sure you go back to the counter after returning your ski gear at the end of your stay to get your deposit back. We had an amazing time and would consider coming back.

Changbai Mountain Landscape International Eco-Exchange Center — where “eco-exchange” really means exchanging knee joints for enlightenment 🐕🦺❄️ This old dog picked this place as a first-timer to Changbaishan because on paper it reads like a dream: ✔️ 5-minute walk to the Changbai Mountain VIP entrance ✔️ Hot springs inside the compound ✔️ “Eco-exchange” — which I later learned refers to exchanging comfort for character development Location? Prime marrow bone. 🦴 Reality, however, is a scenic winter obstacle course. The hotel is thoughtfully scattered across three separate buildings — one for check-in and breakfast, another for hot springs, and because suspense is important in life, the Food Plaza lives in yet another building. In winter. On ice. With wind that slaps. Not exactly age-old-dog friendly. I waddled. I shuffled. I negotiated with my knees. At one point I believe my soul lagged behind and had to catch up. To offset this Arctic triathlon, the staff are available 24/7 on WeChat, responding faster than I can type “why did I choose this hotel?” Efficiency deserves a respectful tail wag. 🐾 Now let’s talk Food Plaza, the hotel’s redemption arc. The food is genuinely scrumptious, warming, and emotionally supportive after being bullied by Changbai winds. Takeaway is allowed — which means you carry it yourself. Eco-exchange again. This dog fetches his own dinner. 🥸 Then there’s the hot spring schedule. Opens at 13:30. When the mountain is closed and the hot spring is closed what exactly is an old dog meant to do? Stare into the snow? Question life decisions? Age visibly? Ah yes — write this review. ✔️ ⚠️ Now, the bone that refuses to go down smoothly. Despite having a relaxed stay, I felt continuously pressed for a 5-star review — on departure day from the first meeting in the lobby to gentle reminders all the way up the bus. At that point, it stopped feeling like hospitality and started feeling like an exam I didn’t sign up for. It made me sad, actually — because it suggests staff performance may be chained to guest reviews like sled dogs pulling corporate KPIs. Trip.com, if you’re listening: no guest should ever be pressured to review. The moment reviews are pushed, ratings stop being honest and start being decorative. This old dog is an independent reviewer. I don’t bark on command. I don’t roll over for stars. And the harder the push, the more my paw hovers over the lowest rating out of pure principle. Still — despite the ice, the walking, the soul-searching — the location alone makes this a smart base for Changbaishan first-timers. Les choses sont bon marché.

L'hôtel est propre et magnifique, situé à proximité du ski. Les chambres sont bien faites, mais le sol de toilette est en train de se débarrasser et commence à montrer des signes de désordre et de larmes. Le service est amiable et le petit déjeuner est bien réparti. La piscine a été partagée avec l'ouest.

Hotel service was excellent, as they went above and beyond to help us during our stay. They helped arrange transport and sight seeing activities - the couple who manage the place in particular were super friendly. Its well located near the entry of Changbaishan Scenic Park gate. They are quite close to Tiger Mountain ski resort, which is can cater for skiers from beginners to more advanced. There is a hot spring in the hotel and our package included breakfast and dinner,which was good. It has been renovated in last year or so. Can recommend.

Ils ont passé 3 jours parfait, le seul moins qu'il n'y ait pas de cloisons dans les chambres - et des hangers supplémentaires , laissé aussi des sons dans la chambre quand ils ont quitté - mais quand ils sont revenus 3 heures plus tard, ils ont dit qu'ils n'avaient pas trouvé, Bien que la situation soit montrée dans cet hôtel , Très triste que le personnel a décidé de prendre notre chose pour eux-mêmes , le petit déjeuner est bon mais peu , à 8/9 le matin est déjà vide , hôtel pour un séjour unique .

I had an amazing stay at Floral Baihe. The entire place is exceptionally clean, and the location is incredibly convenient, just a short walk to plenty of restaurants. The surroundings are peaceful and serene, making it perfect for a relaxing getaway. The staff ( especially 韩丹) were all very friendly, welcoming and helpful, which made the experience even better. Highly recommended!

Le voyage de Changbai Mountain dit que je vais, je suis en train de partir, je suis en train de voyager, l'hôtel Pingoli est un hôtel de qualité, qui ne m'a pas déçu. La chambre est le style préféré des enfants, en particulier l'aménagement est très raisonnable. Il y a deux piscines, c'est sentir un peu de goût décoré. Le service est très bon à la réception de Ajing, Le type de garçon nord-est, le service est intime, aide à imprimer les rouleaux pour les enfants, je pense aussi à envoyer deux documents de comptage, et je prépare une penne. Comme il craint que le projet du parc ne soit pas en mesure de jouer le jour de la pluie, aide à recommander ce que je joue au sein de la chambre de pluie, je suis doué, et des conseils intimes sont urgents de jouer à l'extérieur Objectif, la presse des clients, la pensée des clients, où a trouvé ce patron de personnel, c'est vraiment bon, ma petite fille a dit que vous devriez évaluer sérieusement Ajing et le prix standard de cinq étoiles. La prochaine fois, je serai heureux de rester.
