Je viens directement de Bromo. Rester assis dans la voiture pendant environ sept heures était pire que la mort. L'emplacement est effectivement très éloigné, mais pas loin d'Ijen. Le prix est également bon et les installations de soutien sont complètes. Il n'y a pas de dépanneurs à proximité. Mais vous pouvez commander des plats à emporter chez KFC et Mixue Ice City.

Very nice hotel and feel very comfortable at room. Connected with shopping mall, so very convenient to look around and enjoy various foods. Great staffs and they are willing to help and serve which is great.

Baobab Safari Resort is located quite far from Surabaya city centre, but it is definitely worth the approximately 1-hour drive from Surabaya Airport. We booked two connecting rooms, both with balconies. We were assigned to Level 4, and the view was absolutely magnificent, overlooking Mount Arjuno and Mount Welirang. Waking up to the mountain scenery was truly refreshing. Cooling weather, fresh air and beautiful scenery. Food Experience The highlight of the meals was the Nasi Rawon. The beef was very tender—soft and melt-in-the-mouth—and the soup was rich and flavourful. The portion size was generous. Other food items were acceptable but nothing particularly outstanding. For breakfast, however, the buffet spread was rather limited, especially in terms of meat and protein options. Room & Amenities The room itself looked decent but slightly dated. That said, the beautiful view more than compensated for it. One important note: do stock up on your own bottled water before arriving. The hotel uses refillable glass bottles, and unfortunately, the wooden covers of the glass containers appeared very mouldy, which was quite off-putting. Activities & Environment There are plenty of activities available. A walk through the Enchanted Forest thats full of pine trees and feeding area for Capybara, Lama, Sheep is possible, though you’ll need to take a buggy from another area. The Safari Zoo is located separately but can be arranged by the hotel. Animals around the hotel can be fed according to scheduled timings. Waterbucks, however, can be fed with carrots 🥕, which were provided by the hotel on the day of check-in. The lobby and dining areas were a standout—beautifully designed and facing the roaming animals while still maintaining a safe boundary within their designated area. Animal Welfare I have always been quite sceptical about zoo animals in Indonesia due to past negative experiences, where animal welfare did not seem well cared for. However, Baobab Safari Resort truly changed my perspective. The environment is clean, the animals appear well fed, and I frequently saw zookeepers actively present in the animal areas, feeding hay and grass to the zebras, waterbucks, buffaloes, and giraffes. It was reassuring and heartening to see such care and commitment. This experience made me believe that proper education and responsible management really do help build a better environment for zoo animals. Overall, it was a meaningful and memorable stay for my family.

C'est ma deuxième fois ici. Le personnel est vraiment gentil et vous serez accueillis chaque fois. J'ai eu un problème avec l'aircondition ne pas être assez froid. Le technicien, le bureau frontal sont tous très patient et attentif à ma demande. La chambre est très spacieuse avec une vue magnifique sur la ville. L'ampleur des équipements et vous répondrez à vos besoins. J'ai eu un bon repos de trois nuits et un séjour merveilleux ici. Je recommanderais certainement cet hôtel.

We stayed at Grand Mercure Malang Mirama for our honeymoon for 3 nights and 4 days, and honestly, it was one of the best hotel experiences we’ve ever had. My wife absolutely loved everything about this hotel, and so did I. From the moment we arrived, the hospitality was exceptional. We were welcomed by Wike from the front office, and she truly made our stay extra special. She was always smiling, respectful, kind, and very helpful throughout our stay. She even offered us free activities and vouchers, which was such a nice touch. The biggest surprise was that we got upgraded to the Executive Suite, the highest room category in the hotel. Huge thanks to Wike for making our honeymoon unforgettable! The room itself was unbelievable. Beautiful views, a huge living room, separate bedroom, and an amazing bathroom with a bathtub overlooking the view. Everything felt luxurious and very comfortable. Since it was our honeymoon, the room was also beautifully decorated and we were welcomed with a fruit basket, which made us feel really special. Breakfast was another highlight. The variety was insane so many options that we honestly didn’t know what to choose. Everything we tried was delicious. One thing that really stood out was the staff. I’ve traveled quite a lot, but the service here felt different. Every single staff member we met smiled, greeted us warmly, checked if everything was okay, and helped immediately whenever needed. You can really feel the genuine hospitality here. We also received a complimentary photoshoot from the hotel, which was such a lovely experience. The photographer was great, and we even got a printed photo in a frame to take home as a memory. The only disappointing part during our stay was the Teppanyaki experience at the Japanese restaurant. Unfortunately, it did not meet our expectations at all. The chef only cooked in front of us without any interaction or entertainment, and when I tried making conversation, she seemed annoyed. Considering how expensive it was, it honestly felt very underwhelming. I personally wouldn’t recommend the Teppanyaki experience there. Other than that, everything was truly amazing. Even though I don’t remember everyone’s names, thank you to every single staff member who made our honeymoon so memorable. We absolutely loved our stay and will definitely come back again. Je recommande vivement cet hôtel Nous sommes allés de Bromo à Ijen. Nous étions très fatigués et avons décidé de réserver cet hôtel. L'environnement dans son ensemble était très haut de gamme et il y avait des majordomes qui portaient les bagages dans la chambre. La famille d'accueil dans laquelle nos amis covoitureurs ont séjourné coûte 200 $ la nuit. qu'ils ne savaient rien du séjour, il n'était pas nécessaire de rester dans ces auberges de jeunesse, qui étaient bondées et l'environnement était mauvais.

The hotel overall was acceptable, quite small and not very spacious, which made the stay for family slightly uncomfortable. Unfortunately, early check-in was not available, which was inconvenient after a long journey. I was assigned a corner room near the emergency exit, which was less ideal due to limited views and occasional noise. The refrigerator also had a strong damp and musty smell, as if it had not been properly cleaned or used for a long time. In addition, the bed sheets had many visible stains, which was disappointing and concerning, especially since I noticed similar complaints in other reviews. Cleanliness should be a top priority, and this issue significantly affected my overall comfort. With better maintenance, improved cleanliness, and more flexible check-in options, the overall experience could be much better.

Le choix est moindre que lors de notre dernière visite. Le plus décevant est la saleté, la présence de mouches et, à deux reprises, de petits cafards ont été trouvés près des plats. Malgré mon signalement au personnel, ils n'ont pas réussi à les attraper, et les insectes étaient toujours là. De plus, de la glace est en vente au milieu de la salle de petit-déjeuner ; il est très contraire à l'éthique de vouloir en vendre dans une salle payante. Existe-t-il vraiment un hôtel qui vend de la glace dans cette salle ? Les conditions de petit-déjeuner ne sont pas adaptées à un hôtel 5 étoiles.
