From the moment I arrived, I felt like a true VIP—thanks to the warm and professional service from every team member, including reception, housekeeping, and security. This hotel's prime location makes it an ideal choice for both business travelers and families. The seamless connection to Pakuwon Shopping Mall provided a fantastic shopping experience, adding to the convenience of my stay. The room exceeded my expectations in cleanliness and comfort, allowing me to enjoy a restful sleep throughout my two-night stay. The hotel’s facilities, including the well-equipped gym and the refreshing swimming pool, were impressive and well-maintained. A standout highlight was the remarkable Asian cuisine offered at the hotel. The flavors were authentic and diverse, and an expanded selection of 10 to 15 types of sambal would elevate the experience even further. One of the most memorable touches was the fulfillment of my special request for welcome fruits, which truly made me feel valued as a guest. Overall, I wholeheartedly give this hotel a well-deserved five-star rating and look forward to returning for another exceptional experience.

Pretty nice apartment set up , very convenience. It’s located across one of the biggest mall in Surabaya , can’t complaint. One of the downside is they don’t offer slippers, the bathrooms have strong sewage smell , other than that it’s very nice.

Le menu principal, composé de riz frit, d'œufs au plat et d'autres accompagnements, était délicieux, mais je n'ai pas apprécié les fritures et les boissons. Le parking n'étant pas assez grand, je me suis garé devant l'immeuble, mais la navette est venue me chercher et m'a emmené dans le hall. Une fois garé dehors, j'ai senti une forte odeur d'égout. Le personnel de l'hôtel était très aimable et poli, de la réceptionniste au personnel de nettoyage en passant par le personnel de cuisine, qui saluait poliment les clients à leur passage.

I stayed in this hotel for 2 nights. The room was spacious and well maintained event this isn't brand new building. My initial booking was for 1 night only but after I spent the first night I decided to extend another day with request another room that facing to Jalan Basuki Rahmat. Ms. Fara was helped to find my request and she asking Mr. Reva to showing me some room. They were very nice, friendly and informative. Also I thank Mr. Komarus- the room attendant who really friendlt and well in clean my room, he help to explain the function of AC which is I got confused. Then the security - Mr. Haryono also nice and informative when I asks about surrounding interesting places to visit and eat. For Room Service : I ordered Fried Gurame and Pizza , All was good. The area to improve : 1. Level of hot water need to be better 2. The noisy from AC need to be fix Other than that all experiences went extraordinary stay ! Staying at Shangri-La Surabaya was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The service was warm and professional — every staff member went above and beyond to make sure we felt welcome and well taken care of. The room was spacious, clean, and elegantly furnished with a perfect balance of comfort and luxury. I especially appreciated the plush bedding and thoughtful amenities. The view from the room was also a plus, offering a peaceful cityscape that felt relaxing after a long day. Breakfast was a highlight — the variety was impressive, from local Indonesian favorites to Western and Asian dishes. The pool area and lush garden surroundings made it easy to forget you were in the middle of a busy city. Location-wise, it's conveniently close to malls, restaurants, and main roads, yet the hotel itself feels like a serene escape. Would definitely recommend Shangri-La Surabaya to anyone looking for a five-star experience with genuine hospitality.

This was my first trip to Surabaya and I had decided book Four Points Sheraton Tunjungan given its central location and competitive room rate. I was pleasantly surprised when the hotel recognized my Marriott Bonvoy member status and accorded me the corresponding benefits despite me not making this reservation via the Marriott Bonvoy app. Kudos the hotel staff for that!

Les installations de l'hôtel sont relativement neuves, le petit-déjeuner est également très riche et il y a de petits cadeaux à l'arrivée. L'hôtel est idéalement situé, dans le centre-ville, avec des commerces et des restaurants à proximité.

Au sommet de la montagne où se trouvent divers gîtes, au bout de la route. Vous pouvez admirer le lever du soleil près de l'hôtel à cinq heures et demie. Mais il faisait trop froid la nuit. La couette de l'hôtel était trop fine et la chambre était petite. Certains types de chambres n'avaient que 30 litres d'eau chaude. La deuxième personne a dû attendre que l'eau soit réchauffée. La tension n'est pas très stable, et l'électricité est coupée et redémarrée tout le temps. Le WiFi doit également être reconnecté à tout moment et le sèche-cheveux doit être pris en charge par la réception. Mais l'apparence de la cabine a toujours l'air très à la mode, les boissons au restaurant sont très délicieuses et la cuisine occidentale est également plutôt bonne.

The experience was phenomenal! All staff were very friendly and went the extra mile in terms of service. The location is great, being right next to a mall so it’s easy to find something to do. Highly recommend their spa!

This was my first time taking my infant on a road trip, and we chose Grand Mercure Malang based on its strong reputation and positive reviews. I'm happy to say that the experience lived up to expectations. The room we stayed in was clean and offered a spectacular mountain view. Upon arrival, we were initially assigned a room that was still being cleaned, but the hotel staff quickly realized the mistake and rectified it promptly. We also requested a baby crib, which was delivered shortly after without any issues. The bathroom was well-stocked with amenity kits, and there were plenty of clothes hangers available. The shower pressure was strong and very comfortable. I made use of the gym and swimming pool during our stay. The gym was well-equipped with a squat rack, a full set of dumbbells, a cable machine, and two benches. The swimming pool was pleasantly warm, which made for an enjoyable experience. Our room included breakfast, and there was a wide variety of food options available. The service throughout was kind and respectful. I would say the barista at the coffee counter could benefit from more training to improve their cappuccino-making skills, but it was still acceptable.
