LLanJiangWhen you yearn for a different lifestyle but not ready to commit yourself to changes? For me, traveling is a way to get a sneak peek into “what would it be”, even if just for a moment. I feel incredibly fortunate to have come across Several Mountain Houses, and I’m grateful for the owners’ generosity in creating such a beautiful place and sharing their mountain life with guests.
Many guests have already praised the lovely courtyard, the nature-surrounded rooms, the sensorial bed linens, and the warm, earthy aesthetic of the space. I wholeheartedly agree. Beyond that, there was something even more special. I was wowed by the tidy kitchen, thoughtfully designed and completed with high-quality appliances and tableware. It’s a place that move your mind from “I’m staying in a B&B” to “I’m staying in a home.” The cherry on top? Having the owner made you a perfect cup of latte or cappuccino in the morning. Of all my travels in China, this is the first homestay where I’ve experienced that personal touch.
We arrived by Didi and had to drop off by the roadside, cross a wooden bridge, and then tackle a steep hill path. We called for help and the owner came down to meet us and made sure we felt welcomed. My friend told me she felt like we had stepped into a scene from a web novel—the little challenge at the start, the homey atmosphere, the owners and their charming “career life to mountain life” story all made the experience very special.
I would recommend this place to anyone seeking a peaceful mountain retreat. It's the perfect spot to unwind and reset.
A small tip: if you're in the mood for trekking, head up to the Wulong Gorge scenic area and work your way back. If we had known, we would totally skip Baiyun (White Cloud) temple / village and spend more time relaxing at the house.

IInvitéIl a plu sans discontinuer sur le Mont Qingcheng pendant mes 3 jours de vacances à l'hôtel. Pour un voyageur solo, le service et les équipements de l'hôtel sont primordiaux. Une équipe jeune et chaleureuse a su m'apporter un réconfort parfait durant ces trois jours et deux nuits.
Transports : Après être descendu du train à la gare du Mont Qingcheng, un taxi de seulement 5,6 km et coûtant une dizaine de yuans m'a emmené à l'hôtel, sans aucun souci de transport.
Chambre : Bains thermaux, mini-bar, plateau de fruits de bienvenue, snacks... tout y était. La propreté était irréprochable.
Activités : L'hôtel propose de nombreuses activités gratuites, comme la copie de sutras, la méditation, et les Ba Duan Jin. J'ai participé à la méditation aux bols chantants pendant deux jours d'affilée, et la présence d'un professeur facilite vraiment la relaxation.
Restaurant : Bien que le petit-déjeuner ne soit pas celui d'un hôtel cinq étoiles, il répond aux besoins essentiels. Les nouilles et les vermicelles étaient délicieux et pas du tout bâclés, dignes d'un bon restaurant. On peut réserver le déjeuner et le dîner à l'avance. J'ai même été remarqué par le personnel pour avoir mangé des Houttuynia cordata en salade pendant deux jours de suite, car c'était vraiment excellent ! En commandant seule, je n'ai pas pu tout finir, et une des serveuses a spontanément proposé de me le garder, c'était vraiment attentionné. Si le temps me l'avait permis, j'aurais aimé rester quelques jours de plus. J'y retournerai si j'en ai l'occasion, c'est un endroit idéal pour se vider la tête.

XXiaxunluaiL'emplacement est très pratique et il y a de nombreux plats délicieux en bas !
Les équipements des chambres sont flambant neufs et très haut de gamme. Bien qu'il s'agisse d'un B&B, il est comparable à un hôtel haut de gamme. Il y a des sièges de terrasse d'observation sur le toit, un bar au premier étage, du chauffage au sol, un système intelligent et des tatamis pour la dégustation de thé. Tout est très chic et très chaleureux et propre !
Cela vaut le détour. Le gars de la réception était très serviable. Il nous a même aidé à porter nos valises. Le service était très méticuleux à tous égards.
Le séjour a été très agréable. J'ai entendu dire par les habitants que ce restaurant avait été ouvert par la famille du chef du village local et qu'il avait investi plusieurs centaines de dollars. Les fournitures sont toutes chères et haut de gamme. Ha ha ha ha.
Nourriture : Nous avons mangé dans deux restaurants à proximité très bien notés, et ils étaient vraiment délicieux ! La famille Amway est le poisson-tambour aux haricots du restaurant du Sichuan à Tai'an Hall. L’un est le Thunder Chicken (froid), signature de Thunder Chicken.

Aantho barbu 3933Nous avons réservé cet hôtel pendant nos deux mois en chine pour souffler un peux dans la nature avant pekin.
L'hôtel est est en à flanc de montagne avec une vu imprenable. L'hôtel manque un peu,de soin ( période hivernal) mais la chambre est la grand baignoire avec vu nous le fait vite oublier.
La réceptionniste est très agréable est au petit soins malgré la barrière de la langue.

Cchenzy03L'environnement est très agréable, le rapport qualité-prix excellent, et le petit-déjeuner est servi jusqu'à midi, ce qui est très appréciable. L'hôtel propose un parking souterrain gratuit. La variété des plats est incroyable et l'eau chaude dans la chambre est très confortable. L'enregistrement à la réception a été extrêmement rapide et nous avons même eu droit à un surclassement gratuit de la chambre. L'assistant vocal Xiaodu est très intelligent et les enfants l'ont adoré.

The hotel’s stunning Chinese architecture adds a unique charm, with elegant traditional design elements that blend seamlessly with the natural surroundings, creating a serene and culturally rich atmosphere.
What made our experience even more memorable was the outstanding service. The staff were warm, attentive, and genuinely caring throughout our stay, always going above and beyond to make us feel comfortable.
A very special thank you to our housekeeper, Lori, whose kindness and dedication did not go unnoticed, and to Lechuan, the photographer, who captured such lovely moments for my daughter.
We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and would highly recommend Song Hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable stay in Dujiangyan.

Ccairns8010Les équipements de la chambre étaient un peu vétustes et la lumière un peu tamisée. À part cela, tout le reste n'était que positif : le service de majordome était excellent et attentionné, et presque tout le personnel était chaleureux et amical, que ce soit au restaurant thaïlandais, au restaurant chinois, au restaurant du petit-déjeuner, au Moon Bar, sur la place de loisirs ou à la ferme. On y rencontrait toujours des sourires sincères et chaleureux. Les photos de voyage proposées par l'hôtel étaient également très bien ; le photographe a même apporté des accessoires amusants. Bien que notre enfant n'ait pas été très coopératif pendant la séance, le résultat final a été étonnamment bon et l'effet était superbe 👍 L'hôtel est également très pratique pour se rendre au mont Qingcheng. On peut prendre la voiturette électrique de l'hôtel jusqu'à l'entrée arrière, traverser la route et on est à l'entrée du site. Pour le retour, il suffit de s'organiser à l'avance avec le majordome et l'hôtel enverra une voiture nous attendre à l'entrée arrière, c'est très pratique ! Le dernier jour, le majordome nous a même surclassés dans une villa avec source chaude et avait déjà rempli la baignoire, c'était vraiment très attentionné !

HhernyyyyIt truly felt like being back home. The host was very friendly and welcoming, making guests feel comfortable from the moment of arrival. A simple yet satisfying breakfast was provided, including porridge, soy milk, pau, corn, potatoes, and other vegetable dishes. The heating was excellent, the bed was very comfortable, and I slept soundly through the night. The place looked exactly like the photos, and soaking my feet before bed made the stay even more relaxing.

IInvitéI liked the (Chinese-style) breakfast. The staff was helpful and they even took me down to the front of the mountain ticket office. The food at night (beef and bamboo shoots) was not bad.
I stayed in the garden view room, with two single beds. The bed was comfortable. The tea in the room was really nice Maofeng tea. The style of the room didn’t scream luxury to me (not the quiet kind either).
As for the location, I thought it would be nice to be in mountainous surroundings but it didn’t prove to be very convenient for my needs. I arrived on Friday and went to the front mountain on Saturday. Someone from the hotel very kindly dropped me off near the ticket office.
A little aside: After visiting the mountain I decided on a spontaneous trip to Nanqiao (the south bridge) in Dujiangyan (I had not seen it at night on an earlier trip there). It was not that hard to find a taxi back, but keep in mind a small surcharge of 3.9% for taking you up the mountain).
On Sunday I left the hotel too late as it was already very busy on the road to the back mountain ticket the taxi driver did not want to take me there (cause it would mean being stuck in traffic for hours either no compensation for all this waste of time) but offered to take me to The high speed railway station from which I could take a bus (passing hotel again!). Obviously the bus also ended up in a traffic jam, but in any case I did make it there in the end. Luckily I took my luggage and left it at a shop next to the foot passenger ticket office for 5 yuan.
Unfortunately the hot water spring is only open in winter. They have a nice pool though. I enjoyed my stay but didn’t find it very luxurious although it is rare to have a hotel with a pool in China, so that was cool. At around 50 euros per night it was okay value for money.
