Hôtels avec avec petit déjeuner à Vesturland, Islande

Nice and sizable hotel, very quiet at night.. Room is big enough and the bed is comfy. Shower room is good. Breakfast is good. Hotel situated at the location which is away from the main road. Next to hotel is a golf course, some rooms has view to the golf course. They provide Northern Light alert, reception will call at night if NL are spotted.

We added bed linens with additional charges but then we need to install it ourselves. We are already tired travel from far and setting the bedlinen ourselves is unacceptable. For the men's shared bathroom( not the toilet), the floor is full of dirt, without slippers it is very bad experience. I was showering with naked feet because I only travel with shoes. As there's a short distance from room to the bathroom that need to step through murt, other traveller slippers also became dirty and just walk into shower area with slippers on. There's plenty of space for shared kitchen which is awesome, but the auto door lock made it very inconvenient for a single person that is in middle of cooking and need to open door for partner, because 1 room is only given with 1 set of keys. I did not expect that the full windowed view of waterfall is only for ordering meal, oherwise I would rather spend 1 meal there for the scenery, sadly I missed the awesome breakfast.

The hotel is located right next to the Stykkishólmskirkja Church, and around 10-15mins walk to the city centre/ferry terminal. It is a convenient stop for us travelling from the north to the west side of Iceland. The hotel room has a nice view. Basic amenities are available. The shower room is only separated from the toilet by a ‘moveable’ glass and water might spill elsewhere when you shower. Overall a decent stay.

Très satisfait d'un séjour. Nous avons choisi la cabane de cet hôtel, située à environ 50-100 mètres de la mer, avec la porte vitrée face à la montagne noire. C'est à environ une distance de la réception, mais vous pouvez vous garer devant la porte. Il y a 5 cabines connectées. Parce que nous avons deux personnes qui restent ensemble, la réception nous a spécialement laissé deux cabines relativement adjacentes. Le séjour de cette nuit était super. La cabine n'avait pas d'apparence spéciale, mais elle était bien équipée avec des équipements de cuisine, une table à manger et un canapé, et la salle de bain était également super. Il y a aussi de très bonnes installations de chauffage, qui peuvent être allumées et éteintes à tout moment. Ce soir-là, nous avons préparé le dîner dans notre chambre et sommes allés à la piscine thermale en plein air à l'extérieur de l'hôtel. Nous pourrions également faire du chocolat chaud gratuit dans le hall. Nous sommes allés à la plage pour regarder un coucher de soleil parfait à 10h30 du soir.

L'hôtel de haut niveau de l'Islande en termes d'équipements, de services, de repas et de performances en coûts. Parmi les nombreux hôtels de fond, Reykholt est raisonnablement prix. La chambre est plutôt étroite.

It was such a quaint place, but unfortunately all week we were there it was under construction, so noise from hammering and drilling was very annoying since this was booked specifically for meditation and writing of my book.

Hotel Fransiskus is a former monestary and still has a church and a seniors facility attached to the building. My room was modest in size, but the amenities were good and I enjoyed the view of the ships as well as the opening window which allowed me to enjoy the sea breeze. The young man at the front desk was very helpful and friendly.

cute place, everything is very DIY, we havent't met anyone from the hotel until the next morning. apparently you get a code to open the door by email but we spoke to a few guests and none of them had received it, so you'll need to be able to make a phonecall to reach the owners to get the code to get in...

Super expérience. La chambre d'hôtel est propre et avec vue sur la célèbre église noire, comme le montre la photo ci-jointe. Le personnel est sympathique et accessible. Malheureusement, nous n'avons pas pu attraper la lumière du nord ici car il pleuvait et était nuageux pendant notre séjour.
