Hôtels avec petit déjeuner à Côte ouest, Nouvelle-Zélande

Nous avons été accueillis avec chaleur par la propriétaire Angela quand nous sommes arrivés à examiner Franz Josef Oasis. La chambre d'accueil était propre, confortable et spacieuse. La location de ce lieu est également bonne, car il est à 5 minutes de route à la ville où nous avons eu un délicieux dîner au Blue Ice Restaurant et Bar, qui nous a été recommandé par Angela. Le service est excellent et je recommanderai certainement cet endroit à ceux qui voyagent à Franz Josef !

The hotel is great within walking distance to the train station for Tranzalpine, restaurant in the hotel offer awesome food and drink, the room is slightly basic with no air conditioning, however it has a fan and a heater

Nous sommes arrivés à 9h00 et la propriété était assez sombre. Le bureau de réception avait une note sur la porte indiquant notre engagement de la chambre. Nous avions réservé 2 chambres, mais malheureusement, les deux avaient des bugs (moths) dans elles. Depuis notre arrivée tardive, il n'y avait pas de magasins ou de restaurants ouverts à proximité, pas même de magasins de confort. Nous avons trouvé un bar en ligne qui était annoncé comme étant ouvert jusqu'à 1 h, mais quand nous avons appelé, ils nous ont informé qu'ils se fermaient tôt en raison d'une nuit tranquille. Mais ils ont préparé des chips, des samosas et des rouleaux de printemps, que nous appréciions comme notre seule option pour le dîner. Pour les clients à venir en retard, je recommande vivement de les conseiller d'acheter des aliments à l'avance.

It is alright, but not great - certainly it is worn around the edges. It is the first place I stayed in during my 3 week holiday with no fridge... So much for the by now warm riggers of beer I bought at breweries en route. The service was never with any kind of smile. The food in their restaurant was adequate and the beer was, to my taste, bland and unexciting. Staying here is not a disaster, but nor is it memorable. For the amount they must make (the room was not inexpensive) they could and should do better. But I guess it is a captive market in season, and ”just about good enough” is all they need to bother with.

La chambre était confortable et confortable. Le plus gros problème est que les murs entre les chambres sont du papier mince, afin que nous puissions entendre les gens à côté de la porte et les portes balayant. I think it's one of the best legit hotel in Franz Josef. Staff are so nice. I had to cancel 1 night of my stay, as my main activity (the glacier hike) got cancelled due to bad weather. Hotel was kind enough to accommodate and refund me 1 night. Its definitely a nice place to stay.

Great location in Hokitika, right on the beach. A number of relaxed food places nearby, Fat Pipi Pizza was really good and Triple B Burgers had very large , nice tasting burgers. The standard King room was OK, close to the pictures, but it seemed that there was absolutely no soundproofing between rooms. The carpark was too small for the size of the hotel and the car spaces were too small to get in/out of easily.

We had been advised by a relative that this hotel on the beach was worth staying at. We had a deluxe room up on the hill across the main road so we were not actually on the beach. However the view of the ocean was fantastic particularly in the stormy weather. Due to the weather we had to drive down to the restaurant for breakfast. Restaurant fully booked out by tour groups for dinner but the tavern about 1.5km down the road saw us right for a meal. The complex seemed to have several different standards of rooms and I think ours was the best.

Ils offrent du lait pour le café. Ils nous ont donné des suggestions sur où explorer. Conduisez facilement à Shanty Town et conduisez 30 minutes à Glow Worm Dell. Il y a des bugs qui volaient dans la chambre, alors que la cuisine/la toilette face au jardin. Aucune alimentation ne se trouve près du lit mais dans la cuisine.

Pratique et confortable. Petit dej en commun avec les autres voyageurs chambre propre accueil agréable. Un stop intéressant
