It was great! If there is one thing I need them to improve, it’s the restaurant service. Orders take a looot of time to get served even canned drinks. And you can’t tell me that it’s because of the occupancy. It’s a slow day when we checked in, not much guests around. Overall it definitely is a great place. Would come again. Would recommend. Just please improve the restaurant service!

From the moment we arrived at Dusit Thani Residence Davao, we felt welcomed and well-taken care of. The lobby, though modest in size, exuded a calm charm and the check-in process was smooth. We were greeted warmly by staff who treated us with genuine hospitality — their attentiveness set the tone for our entire stay. Many previous guests also praised the staff’s politeness and readiness to help.  We stayed in a studio apartment, and it was nothing short of comfortable. The room came with a kitchenette, a coffee/tea maker, minibar, and free WiFi — extremely convenient whether you’re staying briefly or planning a longer stay.  The modern fittings and thoughtful layout made it easy to relax or be productive: there was enough space to move around, and everything was clean and well-kept. Cleanliness, indeed, stood out during our stay — a point frequently echoed by other guests.  One of the highlights was the leisure amenities. We took full advantage of the outdoor swimming pool — a serene little oasis perfect for a morning dip or evening unwind. The fitness centre, spa, and wellness offerings added to the sense of pampering. For those traveling with kids or family, there’s even a kids’ pool and a family-friendly vibe.  Breakfast and dining at the hotel also deserve special mention. The buffet breakfast was generous and satisfying — a great way to start a busy day in Davao. For lunch or dinner, the on-site restaurant served a mix of Thai, Asian, international, and European dishes, giving a variety that could cater to different tastes and dietary preferences.  The presence of a café and even a pastry/deli option made it easy to grab a light meal or snack without leaving the property.  Location is another strong suit for Dusit Thani Residence. It’s conveniently located near the airport, which is a big plus if you have early flights or late arrivals.  At the same time, it’s still close enough to city amenities, shopping, and other attractions — offering both convenience and comfort. Many guests appreciated this balance of accessibility and tranquility.  That said, no stay is perfect, and a few aspects could be improved. Some guests mentioned that certain rooms felt a bit cramped or that balcony areas were under-utilized due to cleanliness concerns.  There were occasional gripes about maintenance — for example, shower drains draining slowly or small furniture quirks — and a few found the elevator access between towers a bit awkward, especially if coming from parking.  A minority even felt the place fell short of 5-star expectations in certain respects.  Still, for us, these were minor blemishes compared to the overall positive experience. What stood out was how the hotel blends comfort, convenience, and courteous service with enough extras to feel like more than just a “place to sleep.” The pool, spa, and kitchen-equipped rooms make it a strong choice for families, couples, business travellers — essentially anyone who values a balance of luxury and practicality. In conclusion: if you’re looking for a stay in Davao that offers more than just four walls — a place that feels both refined and welcoming — Dusit Thani Residence Davao delivers. Clean room, quiet, good location close to restaurants, cafes & bars. Staff were helpful & I was able to leave some belongings at the hotel for a few days while I did night life in downtown

Ce que j'ai aimé : - Emplacement idéal - Service client excellent - Belle réception - Petit-déjeuner authentique et savoureux Ce que je n'ai pas aimé : - J'ai trouvé un cafard dans ma chambre - Les chambres et les salles de bain sont extrêmement vétustes et nécessitent une rénovation urgente, malgré quelques efforts depuis mon dernier séjour en début d'année - La télévision est quasiment décorative. Seules 4 ou 5 chaînes sont disponibles, mais la qualité du signal est médiocre, voire inexistante. Ce n'est pas une Smart TV, donc pas de YouTube ni de Netflix pour se divertir. - Le rapport qualité-prix est mauvais. La récente augmentation des prix est injustifiée.

The hotel residence is very cozy to stay the style is a kind of vintage ambience. The staff are very friendly and accommodating to your needs. Facilities are good, transportation is very accessible and convenient.

Le service était excellent, le transport était bien organisé et bien organisé. Le personnel et l'équipage étaient très confortables, polis et attentifs tout au long de notre séjour. J'ai apprécié la qualité de tous, certains de l'équipage ont même aidé à prendre nos photos, ce qui a fait l'expérience plus mémorable. Je donne 4 étoiles pour la propreté parce que j'ai remarqué qu'il y avait un nid d'oiseaux dans la maison de Samal, et il y avait des moments où les oiseaux étaient présents dans la région. En général, il était encore un séjour merveilleux et relaxant, et kudos à l'ensemble de l'équipe pour leur hospitalité et un excellent service client.

Ideal for families who just want to relax and stay in the heart of Davao City. Near major malls and beside the hotel is the ppark and durian museum. They booked us in the 3rd floor which is very accessible for kids to dive into the pool. Our breakfast was great, we encountered a minor incident but the kitchen manager handled it very well. We will definitely book again soon. The price deal was good also. Thank you, Apo View!

For the price, the comfort room is not that okay. There’s a wet area also in the floor carpet which I did not raised anymore because I checked in late already and will just move to other room the next day.

Le service était excellent, la location était excellente et le buffet de l'hôtel était très bon. Lors de mon séjour, l'eau chaude n'a pas fonctionné pendant environ 3 jours. Personnellement, il semblait que l'hôtel se soucie beaucoup plus de son apparence à l'extérieur que l'expérience des clients.
