L'auberge est tout simplement top, bien située, tout dans la chambre est pratique et confortable, l'excellent petit déjeuner est juste 10 sur 10

Chambre spacieuse, propre et bien équipée. L'emplacement est excellent. Arrivés tard dans la nuit et partis tôt le matin, nous n'avons pas eu le temps de profiter des installations de l'hôtel ni de la belle vue. Nous le choisirons à nouveau la prochaine fois.

Heel fijn hotel! Top locatie. Dicht bij veel leuke ontbijt tentjes en restaurantjes. Ook heel dichtbij bij veel bezienswaardigheden. Top!

Un hôtel exceptionnel ! J'ai été très impressionnée par la décoration, la propreté et surtout… le personnel ! Ils étaient agréables, serviables et nous ont même offert un surclassement, ce qui était tout simplement incroyable ! Je tiens à remercier tout particulièrement les merveilleux membres du personnel suivants qui ont rendu notre séjour d'une nuit si spécial… leur sens aigu du service client est remarquable ! C'est si rare de nos jours. Je souhaite remercier tout particulièrement : Debouc, Fernando, André et João ! Des personnes absolument formidables qui traitent les clients avec respect et dignité ! J'ai trouvé cet hôtel, ainsi qu'un autre à Cascais, exceptionnel en matière d'hospitalité ! Je recommanderais sans hésiter cet hôtel à tous mes proches. J'ai adoré mon séjour ! La chambre était spacieuse, propre, équipée de gel douche et après-shampoing Nuxe, et même d'un balcon ! Je n'y suis restée qu'une nuit mais j'aurais aimé y rester plus longtemps ! Je recommande vivement cet hôtel à tout le monde. Il y avait même 2 boissons aux fruits et de l'eau minérale en bouteille dans le mini-bar. Fantastique !

Our experience at Marquês Garden was absolutely wonderful from beginning to end. This beautiful hotel, housed in a charming 124-year-old building, is full of character, history and elegance. Every detail makes it a special place to stay. Our suite was beautiful, comfortable and impeccably maintained, with lovely views overlooking the garden and swimming pool. The breakfast was excellent, and the overall quality of the facilities and service exceeded our expectations. However, what truly makes this hotel exceptional is its staff. Everyone we encountered was incredibly welcoming, kind, attentive and professional. Their genuine hospitality made us feel at home throughout our stay. We would particularly like to highlight an extraordinary gesture from one of the gentlemen working at reception. Yesterday, we accidentally left a bag containing personal belongings and gifts for our family back home in Mallorca at a restaurant called San Valentim, in Matosinhos. When we explained what had happened, the gentleman at reception immediately took charge of the situation. He personally contacted the restaurant, arranged an Uber to collect our forgotten bag and organised its safe return to the hotel. He went above and beyond what anyone could reasonably expect, showing remarkable kindness, professionalism and a genuine willingness to help. This is what true hospitality looks like. It is relatively easy to find a beautiful hotel, but finding a beautiful hotel with people who genuinely care about their guests is something truly special. We are extremely grateful for the wonderful experience and, above all, for the exceptional treatment we received. We wholeheartedly recommend Marquês Garden to anyone visiting Porto. The room is very nice and clean. The staff is friendly and helpful. It's easy to walk to the city center. My husband and I are very satisfied with the Renaissance Porto Lapa Hotel.

Last year I had the most wonderful stay at Menina Colina, and was excited to return. Unfortunately I now wish I had reserved elsewhere, as it has been nothing but a disappointment. Prices are so much higher than a year ago, but I thought I got what was a good deal on the garden room. Turns out it is greatly overpriced for what is offered, as it has none of the exquisite design or attention to detail that the interior rooms have. It also seems to be neglected in terms of maintenance. The coffee machine was leaking, and after reporting it, it was made out to be my fault as I was using it incorrectly. I had to physically show a member of staff the leaked water for them to agree to replace it. I was really annoyed that they felt that they needed to demonstrate to me how it works rather than just replacing it immediately. The next disappointment was that the room was initially not serviced at all, and no explanation was given. When you are paying $165 for a mediocre room (not even including breakfast), one would at the very least expect the bins to be emptied. The bathroom also had a terrible smell that permeated the room, and mosquitoes were a problem too. Management did offer me lunch or attendance of their fado show, but none of these arrangements fitted into my busy programme. I thought a small financial compensation would have made more sense. That did not happen, and nothing further was mentioned or discussed on check-out. The final issue was the online check-out which they require. When I tried to complete it, my bill was for my entire stay, although 3 of the 4 nights had already been paid months in advance. So my conclusion is unfortunately that Menina Colina’s standards have dropped significantly, and that it is overpriced for the lack of attention to detail that is evident in several areas.

I stayed here for 5 days and 4 nights, and it was hands down the best decision of my entire trip to Porto. If any of my friends or family visit Porto, I would literally force them to book this place. If you are debating between this and a slightly cheaper, mediocre hotel, do yourself a favor and choose this residence. It offers absolute value for money. 1. Unbeatable Location The location is incredible—literally right next to São Bento Station. If you walk down the slope right across the street, you end up right under the Dom Luís I Bridge. If you walk up the slope to the left, you can reach Jardim do Morro in just about 8 minutes. Having the metro station right outside means you can easily get anywhere, whether it’s Rua de Santa Catarina or the Gaia district. It was so convenient that I could visit a tourist spot, come back to the room for a quick nap, and head out again for evening sightseeing. 2. Excellent Room Condition & Value The condition of the residence is top-notch. Instead of spending money on an awkwardly priced, lower-quality hotel, staying here gives you premium comfort for an amazing price. It is truly the perfect budget-friendly luxury. 3. Fantastic Amenities (Washing Machine & Cooktop) Whether Porto is your first stop or you are coming from Lisbon, you’ll eventually need to do laundry or crave some comfort food. The room comes equipped with a washing machine and an induction cooktop. It was amazing to be able to do my piled-up laundry and cook some ramen after buying groceries at the supermarket. This feature alone makes it a must-stay destination during your journey. [Conclusion] This place is flawless in terms of location, price, and convenience. Don't hesitate—just book it. You won't regret it!

Nous avons reçu une belle chambre propre sur un étage supérieur avec vue magnifique. La salle de bain était à droite par une porte glissante quand vous êtes entrée dans la salle. Il était spacieux avec douche et salle de bain. Bon petit déjeuner! Les tomates torréfiées étaient superbes et il devrait être disponible tous les matins au buffet.
