Friendly and helpful front desk. Comfortable room on top floor. Large comfortable shared lounge and games area if wanted for a group. Convenient location to universities and train station or town amenities by car or walking. Unfortunately, there is no on-site parking, but you can get advice for where in the city to park.

Finding and getting into the motel is fairly easy as it is on Hwy 76. The main lobby is very clean and welcoming as are the staff. I did note that they had a No vacancy sign taped to the door, so that let me know they were a popular spot on the strip. We got there a little early, and there wasnt a guarantee that our room would be ready but the lady was very nice and was able to get us in without an issue. Process was quick and easy and we were assigned room 1121, ground floor, furthest away from the main road, on the backside of the building. We parked, used the key easily (just tap and go), and walked in. The smell made it obvious to us that there had been a major flood or leak because it reeked of attempts to cover the smell of mold and mildew. We could see water damage everywhere and even the sheets on the bed were damp due to excessive moisture in the air. We have worked restoration from flooding and could distinctly smell something reminiscent of an ozone machine. The air unit was black and broken in pieces, but it still worked, for which we were grateful. The carpets were dirty and in a serious need to be cleaned although by the door had the worst of it. The silicone in the bathroom is seriously moldy and, at best, needs to be replaced and at worst scrubbed with a mildew cleaner like Lysol mold and mildew. The in room fridge had serious condensation on the inside so we figured that it had been giving them issues. It wasn't until the next morning that we noticed the patch job in the ceiling over by the door that it occurred to us that that is the bathroom of the floor above us and that there was a major leak that way. Overall, I have paid less for better rooms and if there had been an option, I would have asked for a different room. If not for the fact that we knew we would not be getting a refund, we probably would have left and went somewhere else. The staff were wonderful to interact with, but the room itself was not worth the visit. Its a flip coin or maybe a desperate act that will get us to book there again. Oh! Major gap in the door and the glass in the window to the room was cracked! Shower head was gross and growing stuff too.

This hotel is in the area near where I needed to be this weekend and it was clean. I will be staying again as I will need to return to the area. I did have a mishap in that housekeeping cleaned the room but didn't make the beds. I had to leave to get to my performance venue about an hour after checking in, so I went to tell the front desk. The receptionist was very accommodating in getting someone up to my room ASAP, and they were made when I later returned. Thanks! Also, I think one of the elevators isn't working, so you might have to wait a little longer. Had I stayed longer, I would have found the stairs.

Disappointing Stay – Would Strongly Advise Against Booking I traveled to Festus for a car show and needed a budget-friendly hotel near local amenities. While this property met that basic requirement, nearly every other aspect of my stay was a disappointment—and at times, unacceptable. To start, the hotel was unbearably hot inside. There was no functioning indoor air conditioning, and the common areas remained well above 80 degrees throughout my stay. Check-in was quick, but the front desk staff seemed unfamiliar with the facility—unable to even direct me to the pool, which I never located due to the complete lack of signage. The complimentary breakfast was, frankly, insulting. The food options were minimal and unappetizing—particularly the English muffins, which were so hard they could double as hockey pucks. The oppressive heat made it nearly impossible to sit and eat in the dining area anyway. My room, while clean, was far from comfortable. The mattress was extremely hard—comparable to sleeping on bare concrete—and the cramped toilet and shower area offered no room to move. Several cockroaches were spotted both in my room and in common areas, raising serious concerns about cleanliness and maintenance. While I understand the hotel is currently under construction and the staff I interacted with were courteous, that alone cannot excuse the overall experience. The current conditions are simply not acceptable for paying guests. I had high hopes for this location but left deeply disappointed. Unless you have absolutely no other options within your budget, or until after renovations are fully completed (well beyond 2025), I strongly advise against staying here. I will not be returning.

Nous avons aimé cet endroit !! À part le fait que c'était juste un endroit cool pour rester de la photo, c'était vraiment un endroit cool pour rester. Mes 10 et 14 ans, mon mari et moi avons séjourné pour cette visite. Les hommes ne sont pas si cool, il n'a pas vraiment aimé lol ; mais moi et mes deux filles aiment vraiment rider dans l'ascenseur. Le réveil est activé avec la clé de votre chambre, et vous ne pouvez pas aller au sol que dans votre chambre, le niveau inférieur avec la piscine et le dîner et le niveau principal (entrée), donc pas de plaisir à la pointe du lol. La chambre était propre et spacieuse. Elle ne sentait pas. Les lits semblaient propres ainsi que la salle de bain. Nous AMOUVions la fonction atrium, nous montons à 6h pour nager tout en étant en mesure de regarder le soleil et les nuages étaient si amusants. Les chambres sont très confortables et sont très confortables. Il y a des places gratuites, mais il y a très peu de places. L'eau a l'air très nuageux ... Cela m'a fait sentir un peu bizarre, mais nous avons eu en tout cas un blast. Le sol de la piscine est très ...scratchy et facile à se couper sur. Ma fille s'est échappée à son cou sur elle et quand elle est sortie, elle a commencé à saigner un peu. Ils doivent refiner le plancher de la piscine pour sûr. Cependant, la piscine a été chauffée et nous l'apprécions.

La salle elle-même était une classe master dans le design moderne, équilibrant l'attrait esthétique avec le confort pratique. Les fenêtres de plafond ont fourni une vue impressionnante sur la ligne de ciel, tandis que les lignes de haute qualité et l'écoulement ont assuré un sommeil paisible, malgré la position centrale. Les petits touches, comme un basket de snack et une machine à espresso de haut niveau, ont ajouté un niveau de luxe qui manque souvent de grandes chaînes. La terrasse sur le toit servit comme un rétracteur de soirée parfait, avec une sélection de boissons et une atmosphère relaxée. Pour ceux qui voulaient rester actifs, le centre de fitness a été bien entretenu avec une variété d'équipements. Le petit déjeuner était un point de départ, offrant une variété d'options fraîches, saisonnières, qui se sont adaptées à différents goûts, y compris plusieurs choix sans gluten et sans plantes. Le service est devenu un service de qualité, et chaque interaction est réelle et personnalisée, avec le concierge qui fournit des recommandations excellentes pour les galeries et les lieux de repas voisins qui ne sont pas seulement les pièges touristiques typiques. Il est rare de trouver un hôtel qui se sent à la fois sophistiqué et réellement hospitalier.

C'est la 3e ou 4e fois que nous sommes restés ici (je dis 3, femme dit 4 😂) et cette fois, c'est certainement notre moins favori. J'ai réservé le même style de chambre (1 King + Sofa Bed) chaque fois, et nous avons que ... But DANG was it small! There was literally 6-8 inches of walking room. The bathroom was too spacious and the room could have used some of that. Le petit déjeuner était aussi gros. Auparavant, il y avait des fabricants de waffles, des farines d'orange et d'autres grandes options chaudes. Ce séjour avait des œufs 👍 et fromage rasé 👍. Alors que je donne des suggestions pour inclure un ”sausage sans viande”, le sausage standard de porc a été mal écrit. La sélection de waffles a été mal gérée. Ils ont offert un ”waffle avec sucre de perle”, ce qui est bien bc nous avons eu ceux ailleurs. Les waffles dans leurs poches de service, le employé était là pour les ouvrir et les mettre dans le conteneur de service. 1) C'est inutile de toucher par les employés et les boucles qui ne savent pas quelles sont les langues. 2) Si vous le gardez dans son emballage, ils ne sècheront pas. Le bureau de la maison, le service de la maison, etc., sont toutes merveilleux.

Ils ont du café, de la farine d'orange, du maïs, du bacon, du pain, des fruits etc ... Le personnel est très aimable et toute ma expérience a été merveilleuse.

This is a very good location for downtown K.C. The hotel lobby very nice. We ate dinner at the restaurant in the hotel and the food and service were very good. The only complaint here was that the attached bar was very loud and the restaurant ambiance could be redesigned to be more comfortable and intimate. There was a group of about eight people at a large table near us that were having load discussion that was distracting for us but dealt with it. The room was small but the renovation was very nice, bathroom was big with a nice tub/shower that my wife enjoyed a epsom salt soak. My only complaints are that there is no fridge or microwave to heat coffee. Also, they use the old style coffee two cup coffee maker as most hotels have now gone to keurigs. The hallway noise is very noticeable and the room-to-room noise is as well. We could literally hear the conversation in the next room. One thing that I really dislike is the lack of a ”do not disturb” card for the door and as expected, the housekeeper was knocking on the door at 9:00 a.m. to clean the room even though checkout is at noon! I'm sure there are much better and newer hotels but if you are looking for a reasonable place to stay in the heart of downtown K.C. this is a good choice.
