The room was disappointing. We booked a small double, but were given an accessible room instead. The sink was tiny and low down for wheelchair access, but uncomfortable for a 6ft 2 in male! No window so felt a bit claustrophobic. Only 1 coffee sachet between 2 of us. Seemed like the roomwas an after thought. We have stayed here many times and this was the worst room we have had.
Bar and breakfast was fine though.

I stayed at the Leonardo Hotel Derby while attending a workshop at the Derby Museum. Its location is excellent, being merely a few minutes' walk from the venue. The hotel was clean and pleasantly quiet at night, allowing for a restful sleep—a welcome change from the often disruptive air-conditioning in other hotels. Furthermore, Derby town centre is only a five-minute walk away, offering opportunities for shopping, dining, or leisurely strolls.

This was a trip for my birthday which was Sunday 26th January we had some requests before we arrived and they forfilled this for us.
We had an early check in on Friday which was plan sailing.
Breakfast on my birthday wasn't the best due to not really having anything left and having to ask for things like bread for toast and milk for cereal. We had to ask for juice plates and also knifes and forks.
Overall the pool was good ( cold) but wasn't overly busy which i like due to suffering with anxiety issues.

Awesome 1 night stay over, used the gym facilities in this occasion and were of an excellent standard all round. As always, cannot praise the staff enough and the beautiful room once again! 10 out of 10 ☺️

Le petit hôtel est très confortable, très confortable et très confortable. La chambre était très confortable et confortable. Le restaurant était un jour pour dîner et nous avons eu 2 petits-déjeuners et le repas était bon et abordable. Le petit-déjeuner était un service personnel (comme nous l'avons inclus) avec une grande variété et abondantes. Nous n'avons pas utilisé la piscine à la fin, car cela signifie aller dehors et de retour à l'intérieur, car notre chambre n'était pas connectée à une route couverte vers la piscine.
Il est très confortable et confortable.

Very wonderful hotel staff. Clean and newly renovated rooms that were very comfortable to stay in. All in all a great stay and will definitely be staying here again if we return.

We stayed for 1 night for a special occasion. On arrival we were told that the spa was closed for an event which was very disappointing as I booked this hotel because of the spa & had planned to use the pool & sauna. This should gave been communicated at the time of booking. The building and grounds were impressive but on arrival our featured superior room was freezing cold. The reception turned on the heating at our request but this should have been done hours before our arrival given that it was 8 degrees outside. We sat for an hour in the room with our coats on before asking for a portable heater due to the radiators being only lukewarm. The room never really got warm & when we came back from dinner at 9.15 the heating had been turned off again & we had to ask for it to be turned on again. The food in the restaurant was very good & the servers were lovely but unorganised. We planned to have a drink in the hotel bar but it was so cold that it was empty and not comfortable to stay. I heard kore than one staff member complain about the cold in the hotel. What could have been a very pleasant stay was spoiled by the cold. Unfortunately, we will not return.

La maison est un très bon hôtel pour séjourner. Contrôlez le personnel rapide et efficace et courtois comme toujours.
La chambre dispose d'un air conditionné et d'une bonne salle de bains avec douche.
Nous avons réservé le petit déjeuner mais nous avons complètement oublié le petit déjeuner fini à 9 heures le lundi.
Le service de la chambre est très bien placé, mais il est très bon de vous envoyer un petit déjeuner.
Un séjour agréable n'a rien d'autre à ajouter.

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Lower Holly Barn is a luxurious self-contained cottage situated amongst rolling fields, woodlands and beautiful views yet only 5 mins drive from the town of Matlock. This is the place to come and unwind from hectic everyday life. Guests can enjoy beautiful walks from the doorstep, make use of the gym, bowling green and Summer house. The location is perfect for visiting many of the stately homes, Peak national Park and quaint villages in the area.The holiday cottage is located on Hearthstone Farm in a converted barn which is now a livery yard with a few sheep (lawn mowers!) in the surrounding fields. The cottage itself comprises of 3 rooms, a large well equipped sitting room with kitchenette within, a large shower room and the bedroom. To one side of the cottage there are lawned areas with a bistro table and chairs for your morning coffee and to the other side a bowling green/putting green and use of the Summer house for your afternoon snooze! Very nice experience, everyone friendly. Rooms looked newly renovated and clean. Only downside was the pool and sauna was closed down and no longer available, trip photos show pool and spa but be warned this is now close for the foreseeable future.

IInvitéLe personnel de l'hôtel était bien formé et savait comment associer les clients et s'assurer que leur visite était exactement comme ils voulaient. De l'entrée de l'hôtel et de l'inspiration dans le plus beau parfum, à l'immaculation de chambres bien conçues - plug et USB construites dans le cadre du lit ! Je devais aller à l'hôtel plus tôt et avoir réservé un table, mais j'ai été retardé, donc j'ai dû annuler - le menu semble étonnant et certainement mériter une visite pour cela seul. Le petit déjeuner buffet est abondant avec les petits-déjeuners anglais habituels, une gamme d'options continentales (fruits, salames et similaires) et de thé et de café filtrant, remplis par l'équipe de restaurant attentive. J'aimerais vivre plus près, pour aller à quelques événements spéciaux qu'ils ont organisés ici.
