Easy to find well positioned in the centre of town , everywhere very clean to a high standards. Lovely big rooms big bathrooms, big TV, table an chairs, tea a coffee. Free spa, sauna hot rooms, a gym.Lots of bars an eatry’s on site.Excellent place to stay.

Yes the room was dated, and yes the room was hot. However the room was clean, comfortable and a fan was provided to help circulate the warm air. The windows have restricted openings most likely due to H&S but with the fan it was enough to move the warm air out and allow cooler air in. Check up was chaotic but the lady apologized and explained they had a member of the staff off sick. She worked her way through everyone as quickly as she could giving everyone the same warm welcome. Breakfast was enjoyable and the spa area was a delight offering everything you need. After checking out I realized I left my sunglasses in the room. The cleaning team were so helpful allowing me access to retrieve them and to double check I had everything

Nice cosy room outside of the main hotel. Only window was a skylight that you could open, but it didn't give a lot of natural light. Bed was comfortable and shower good. Excellent amenities within the room including tea/coffee, ironing facilities and TV. Perfect location for exploring the city and the bonus of free parking. The continental breakfast was a little sparse and if you're a vegan, you may want to let the hotel know ahead of arrival. Despite the odd area for improvement, still very good value.

Un hôtel absolument magnifique dans un excellent emplacement, à 5 minutes à pied de la ville. L'intérieur de l'hôtel est incroyable et assez grand. Nous avons choisi une chambre avec vue sur le jardin qui était un peu petite mais la vue était incroyable, jusqu'à la cathédrale. Le petit-déjeuner peut être un peu chargé car le quartier est petit mais c'était agréable. Le spa était charmant mais encore une fois petit et peut être très fréquenté. Dans l'ensemble, un bel hôtel dans un emplacement idéal.

Location was an absolute 10/10. Nice and pleasant river walk towards the wall city. Clean quite and pretty safe environment. Room was nice and clean. Sheets were comfortable. Ameneties well appointed. Free breakfast (coffee & croissant) enjoyed in the breezy lobby a good way to start a day. Definitely worth the stay and highly recommended!

J'ai eu un grand séjour à Hampton par Hilton York et je resterais heureusement ici encore. La location est très confortable. L'hôtel est également à 15 minutes à pied de The Shambles, et la marche elle-même est agréable, passant par certaines parties magnifiques de la ville et vous donnant la chance de prendre dans le beau paysage de York. L'un des points de vue de notre séjour était le buffet de petit déjeuner complimentaire. Le petit déjeuner est inclus, et il offre une excellente valeur pour l'argent. La chambre était confortable et bien entretenue. Enfin, le personnel était ami, accueillant et utile tout au long de notre séjour, ce qui a fait de l'expérience générale encore plus agréable. En général, Hampton by Hilton York est un excellent choix pour tout le monde qui visite York. Il combine un emplacement confortable, des chambres confortables, un bon petit déjeuner et un service amiable, ce qui le rend très précieux pour les séjours courts et les visites plus longues.

We were very disappointed with the check-in experience. The hotel assigned us rooms in a wing where the air conditioning was not working. It appeared that the staff were already aware of the problem, as my friends and I seemed to be the only guests staying in that entire wing. Unfortunately, this happened during a heatwave, making the rooms unbearably hot and very uncomfortable. I had to walk back to reception to request a room change. The staff initially offered to bring us a fan and said the hotel was fully booked, but that was not an acceptable solution in such extreme temperatures. After I insisted, my friends and I were finally moved to rooms with working air conditioning. What made the situation even more confusing was that guests who checked in after us were assigned rooms on other floors with functioning air conditioning. That left us wondering why we had been placed in rooms with a known problem in the first place. Guests should never be checked into rooms with a major maintenance issue like this, especially during a heatwave. While we appreciated that the hotel eventually moved us, the whole experience left us with serious doubts about how room allocations were handled —- is it because i booked via Trip.com ?

L'hôtel est dans le quartier de York, l'environnement global est très bon, la réception est également très belle ～ La chambre est propre et l'hygiène est large, le seul bug est pourquoi la boue de cuisson peut être si sale... et possédant un cheveux...

I've stayed at this hotel before and I will definitely be staying again. The location is ideal for me with easy access to the city centre either by walking, bus, or taxi. The rooms have always been very clean and a good size too. The buffet style breakfast is always superb and leisure facilities give you a chance to unwind in the pool, jacuzzi, sauna, and steam room. The staff have always been pleasant, friendly, and polite. 5 stars from me!

La chambre était très belle et propre, mais n'avait pas une bonne vue de la fenêtre aussi il n'y avait pas de réfrigérateur dans la chambre et avec le temps chaud que nous avions pu faire avec une.apart de ce qu'il était un séjour agréable.
