I recently had the pleasure of staying at Tokinoniwa Onsen Hotel, and it was an unforgettable experience. From the moment I arrived, I was enveloped in a sense of tranquility and luxury that defines a perfect Japanese ryokan stay. The hotel effortlessly blends traditional Japanese aesthetics with modern comforts. The staff were exceptionally warm and attentive, ensuring every aspect of the stay was seamless. The check-in process was smooth, and the hospitality throughout my visit was outstanding. The tatami-style room was beautifully designed, offering both elegance and comfort. The highlight was the private open-air onsen on the balcony, where I could soak in the natural hot spring water while enjoying breathtaking views of the surrounding nature. The serene ambiance made it a truly rejuvenating experience.

Beautiful, great service, super clean & comfortable hotel which sets it's standard really high. Everything was superb from the lobby to the room to the restaurants, and to the onsen. Quality meals are served with their hearts & the quality is too much for me. Our room was really huge. There are 3 different onsen rooms with indoor & outdoor pools. However, the outdoor pools do not give you any views since they bamboo-fenced the surrounding. Parking is free and it is only 2 mins walk down the slope to reach Kusatsu town centre. A minimum 2N stay is recommended.

Hotel rooms’ size is big.  The facilities are good but we didn’t have time to enjoy this time as we only stayed two nights here and were out of the hotel most of our time.  This hotel is very good for the family with young children so that they can spend time together to use the hotel facilities.

La chambre était belle, mais le personnel était vraiment bizarre. Ils ont refusé de nous donner des serviettes et des brosses à dents en disant que nous devions les payer. Nous nous sommes donc disputés pendant environ dix minutes et finalement ils nous ont donné des serviettes pour nous doucher. Il n'y a rien près du motel. Bâtiments essentiellement délabrés et bâtiments abandonnés. Rien de vraiment à faire dans la ville elle-même. L'onsen était plutôt sympa. À moins que vous ne vouliez rester au motel toute la journée, ne venez pas dans cette ville. Il y a aussi une navette gratuite pour la gare.

地點稍微偏僻，年長男性接待人員非常熱心，房間空間大維持得也不錯，但是感覺得出來建築物的年紀。餐點蠻好吃的，不過有幾道料理偏西式，吃得沒有很習慣，比較想吃到的是當地傳統料理。整體而言是令人放鬆的旅館。

Amazing hospitality, rooms with great mountain views, and incredible food. The hosts were very accommodating to our special meal request. The onsen was also fantastic.

Est-ce que la chambre est effrayée? C'est un peu inconvenant, parce que je ne peux pas l'utiliser, mais en plus, je suis très satisfait. Le riz est très délicieux.

Very clean and tidy. Room as pictured. Staff lovely... thank goodness for google translate. Private hot pools great...large. You had to get in quick as no booking - but good sysyem on co.outer to see when free. I American breakfast good (except tomato sauce ON tge omelette). Omelette was light and fluffy. Only about 10 minutes walk to the steps.

I really liked the Comfort Hotel. Great location, easy access from maebashi train station and quick walk to shopping areas. The room was just what we needed with helpful amenities. Staff are lovely and helpful. Would recommend for a short stay.
