AAman5 star for facilities, 3 star for service. This lodge has great perks (outdoor Jacuzzi, Sauna, Indoor pool) and this makes it one of the best lodges out in Gudauri. My highlight was using the hot jacuzzi at 9 AM in the morning when it started snowing. The privilege of hot water out in the open was amazing. Breakfast is also decent but live station costs 10 LARI (for e.g Omelette) which came as a surprise to me. A-la-carte menu is well stocked. I especially liked the Shkmeruli in garlic sauce. These perks are from 8 AM - 11 PM.
However, I didn't quite appreciate the service to be honest in general which is why I gave it a low rating. I came during an off season (once the ski season stopped). There were no smiles exchanged at either the reception, restaurant or the house keeping. One would argue that with fewer guests, the quality of service would increase but this instead went downwards. It felt borderline rude as in our country we treat guests with a smile and make sure they feel welcome regardless of it being an off/on season. The only pleasantries we could exchange with were with a middle aged Israeli couple who we met at the pool. Other than that the lodge was pretty much dead in April/May. Our only recourse was to spend the day outside, get back by 6 pm, use the facilities until 10 and then crash to bed.

RRimmaCherI brought my mom here for 5 nights and it has been a wonderful stay. 1) we lived on the 3rd floor facing the Kazbegi mountains and the view was stunning. It was lovely sitting on the balcony in the evening chatting and sipping wine or having coffee in the morning 2) The location is great, lots of trails for hiking. To do most of them you will need to go down the hill (about 600m) and then up the hill on the way back. Going up the hill might be a bit challenging for some people but you can always get a cab if needed! 3) Food in the restaurant is delicious. I’ve noticed that guests (including myself) would stay inside or take their food outside on the terrace and spend hours having breakfast in the morning, it’s that relaxing. I had dinner in the hotel restaurant a few times and it was great. And it wasn’t more expensive than the food in most local restaurants down at the hill. 4) I recommend going to the pool especially if you find time when there are not too many people (I went in the morning and evening sometimes and most of the time few people there) 5) Very helpful and friendly staff. Always smiling, always polite, being very professional and calm.

IInvitéLe plus beau séjour de montagne peut être souhaité. Le personnel était si gentil et utile qu'ils ont fait toute l'expérience chauffant le cœur. La situation est top-notch Quels autres demandes ? Les vaches se font paser, les chevaux courent, une montagne verte d'un côté et un pic de neige de l'autre.
Les chambres étaient sans place, entièrement équipées avec toutes les installations, et ont une éclaircissement merveilleux.

IInvitéОтдыхали вчетвером, помещение большое, есть мини кухня со всеми принадлежностями для приготовления пищи, до подъемника Гудаура (гондольного типа) идти пешком 3 минуты, очень близко. До магазина Спар идти 1 минуту, очень удобное местоположение. К апартаментам предоставлялся шкаф для хранения спорт инвентаря. В помещении апартаментов тепло, имеется несколько радиаторов для обогрева, много электророзеток, стиральная машина. Хозяин передал нам ключ и подготовил апартаменты для нас, всегда был на связи. Нам очень понравилось, обязательно вернемся еще 👍
Из минусов только одно, в апартаментах не хватает обычной раскладной сушилки для белья, поэтому все вещи приходилось сушить на спинках кроватей, стульев, такая мелочь сделала бы пребывание для нас еще комфортнее 😃
