This hotel was built in 1885 with historical background according to the pictures on the wall. It would be more informative if there was a more thorough descriptions next to the pictures and become a museum like Inn. We stayed in the Superior King room with balcony, the river view was excellent. This little town is very tranquil with relaxing vibe. We loved to stay in the balcony, unfortunately, there is no any BBQ or stove for cooking here, or we would love to stay more days. There is also no sun umbrella or shaded place in the balcony, and it could be very bright and hot even during 11C in the summer. Our room is the closest to the car park, but we can’t access the stairs directly down to the car park. Instead, we had to detour in the hotel, walked the a few levels of stairs with passing two doors to the car park. There are more than a dozen of stairs in the hotel. Elderly and anyone with leg or back problems need to be aware of it. 
Our room has been renovated recently. Everything maintains in very good condition, besides of the air conditioning. The air conditioning system was connected to another three rooms in the same isle. If any of the room turns on the heater while everyone is using the cool mode, the air conditioning will be shown in error. Thanks for Meghan that she was willing to come back to the hotel for us in 5 mins even it was out of her work time. She has been very helpful and nice during our stay. She is the best front desk I have seen on this island. We were happy with our stay, even we noticed that the noisy music from the pub right under the hotel level not only on in the weekend until midnight. However, we felt that compressor next to us had been noisy all day. We only felt quiet after we turned off the bathroom ventilator, air conditioning and closed the window. There was also two washing machines and one dryer on site charging only CAD$2 for each laundry. I think this is the cheapest laundry service on the island. The last but not least is the bath towels. We can’t stand with it snowing with crushes. I would suggest people bringing their towels. And the water pressure was too weak like a garden pot watering.

Le petit-déjeuner est inclus et le séjour est confortable. Il y a des espaces de travail et de détente, ce qui est génial ! Le prix est également très abordable et le rapport qualité-prix est excellent. Je reviendrai sans hésiter lors de mon prochain séjour à Vancouver !

It was a pretty good place to stay in downtown Vancouver. I chose this hostel because I had to wait for my next flight and didn’t have much time there, but I really appreciated the staff letting me check in early. I arrived about an hour before check-in time expecting to just wait, but my room was already ready and they let me in right away, which I was very grateful for because I was exhausted and really needed some sleep. I didn’t stay long, but during my time there everything was comfortable and I had a good experience overall.

L'emplacement était idéal pour notre séjour. La chambre était propre et confortable. Quel plaisir de prendre un petit-déjeuner complet avant de partir le lendemain matin ! Tout était disponible, prêt et délicieux.

My friend and I were very impressed with the Arbutus Inn. It was a very clean hotel and was newly renovated. The renovations were very tasteful and our room was very nice. You could also tell that there were new beds. They were very comfortable and had a good design. I was especially impressed that there no ”smoke” smell in the rooms or in the hotel lobby. All in all it was a very good experience.

I stayed at Recreation Inn during my recent trip to Kelowna, and overall, it was a decent experience for the price. The standout for me was the Saturday breakfast – simple but on point. It was served buffet-style with a good mix of egg muffins, fruit, bread, and juice. Everything was fresh and well-prepared, making for a nice start to the day. The room itself was clean and had all the basic amenities I needed, but I have to admit, the condition of the room felt quite dated. The furniture and decor could really use an upgrade, and there was an unpleasant musty odor in the room that lingered throughout my stay, which definitely affected my comfort. The staff were polite and helpful, and the check-in process was smooth. The location is convenient, close to some restaurants and not far from the lake, which was a bonus. If you’re looking for a basic place to crash for a night or two and don’t mind a bit of an older vibe, it could work. But if you’re sensitive to smell or looking for something modern and more refreshed, this might not be the best fit.

La location est bonne, en fonction de l'endroit où vous voulez aller. La gare d'autobus est à quelques pas de la maison. Il y a une église à proximité. Au contraire de la maison vous pouvez trouver un appartement de basse altitude. La maison et la chambre que je reste sont très propres et confortables. La dame est amicale et utile. Je me sens sûr. Tous les services et équipements énumérés dans Trip.Com sont disponibles. Il serait beaucoup mieux si l'adresse spécifique est listée dans Trip.com pour la convenance de la réservation. Les réponses sont considérées comme rapides et efficaces. Recommandé pour les voyageurs de femmes seules, si vous n'êtes pas sûr de avoir un séjour à la maison.

Je pense que c'est une bonne valeur pour l'hébergement en argent au Canada. Si vous êtes inquiets pour la propreté, vous n'avez pas à vous inquiéter trop. Au moins il n'y a pas de bêtise. Au lieu de cela, toutes les installations (toiles, etc.) sont des services payés, veuillez les consulter lors de la réservation. Un très bon hôtel où vous pouvez séjourner avec un ami de chat 👍 Il y a un chat appelé Oreo, et il est un ami très aegyo.

24/7 front desk staff. Breakfast is hard boiled eggs, toast, plain yogurt, frozen blueberries, juice, oats. Dinner is rice and curry. Free beer, wine or soda. Tv, kitchen, bar, lounge area. This area is near tents and tarps where homeless people are. At the same time, it’s within a 15min walk from most attractions, e.g. harbour, royal bc museum, chinatown. 100$ damage deposit required. 10$ deposit for a lock, 10$ for towel. Dorms are smelly, poor ventilation. Curtains are dark which makes the dorm very dark throughout the day. Private lockers next to bed have a heavy sliding lock which is inconvenient and loud.
