very nice trip, surrounded by peacocks, antelops, angola chickens; we also spent some time around the other 2 Anantara hotels on the island

This resort is a real gem. People who work here really love their job and try to spoiled clients as This resort is a real gem. People who work here really love their job and try to spoiled clients as much as they can. My family had an amazing experience staying here. We tried organic eggs and local organic berries. The chef Francis was very creative and did his best for breakfast and dinner.Food was very good at Savanna restaurant. Restaurant manager Dalila is very friendly and was always happy to fulfill our requirements. Al Sahel villas are very spacious and a bed is very comfortable. However the Desert hotel needs renovation.The spa facilities didn't meet 5 stars hotel standards. Italian restaurant needs an Italian chef definitely. Prices are very high for what they offer. I enjoyed the villas. The washrooms were very clean and the bedrooms were very comfortable. It was very spacious and the quality was very clean. There were some activities such as mangrove kayaking, kayaking, water skiing, and safari. I wish I could go there again!

If you're looking for a relaxing nature experience in the UAE, this is the perfect place. The staff is very accommodating and rooms are explicit. Although we didn't get a chance to try the water activities due to bad weather, but I'm sure that would have been a worthy experience
