Avis : Hotel Alhaurín Golf Resort

Séjour du 08 au 10 avril 2022 - Chambre 307 - 125,32 € pour les 2 nuits sans petit déjeuner C'est mon 2ème séjour dans cet hôtel, et là ! Je ne laisse rien passer ! Quand je récupère ma chambre, la poubelle n'est pas vidée (bouteille d'eau et masques usagés à l'intérieur) donc aucune certitude sur la désinfection de la chambre, en période de Covid, c'est rassurant ! Le jeu de serviettes n'était pas complet (1 seule serviette pour les mains, pas de tapis de bain), pas de couverture supplémentaire à disposition dans la chambre La chambre en elle même, elle a une belle superficie mais n'est pas fonctionnelle dans son organisation, la terrasse a besoin d'un coup de frais Télé petite, pas de bouilloire, pas de machine à café, pas de petite bouteille d'eau Literie confortable, oreiller à revoir, présence d'un cheveu sur la couette Qualité des éponges, déplorable ! la serviette de bain est petite, rêche, pas moelleuse du tout ! Les produits de courtoisie sont fixés au mur Et globalement, la chambre mériterait un bon rafraichissement La moquette des parties communes est franchement usé jusqu'à la corde ! ce qui ne renvoie pas une bonne image de l'hôtel La situation, le cadre et le soleil ne font pas tout ! Le petit déjeuner est à 15 € par personne et pour l'avoir tester, à ce prix là, je préfère largement aller le prendre en extérieur, le sucré et la salé sont à 90% de l'industriel Bref ! Cette 2ème expérience dans cet établissement n'est pas bonne pour moi et ça me fait dire qu'en pleine saison, les manquements doivent être nombreux ! PS : Suite à mon désagrément, la direction m'a offert le petit déjeuner dimanche matin ainsi qu'une bouteille de cava et une d'huile d'olive

Hôtel très à l’écart des villes et du littoral mais proche du golf. Paysage et environnement superbes. Personnel sympathique et très à l’écoute. Chambre très spacieuse, un peu froide. Peu de mobilier, pas de bureau. Carrelage au sol. Salle de bain très grande avec miroir grossissant., WC avec bidet à part. Petit déjeuner copieux et bon. À regretter l’absence de bouilloire ou de cafetière dans la chambre. Hôtel un peu bruyant quand on a des voisins sans gêne….

Lovely room but towels were tiny and thin so we had to use the towels provided for swimming when we showered. The staff at reception were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was awful,we went to breakfast the first morning and were told the buffet and fruit were for the footballers that were staying, there was scrambled egg and they said they could get us sausage and bacon but then brought bacon and mushrooms swimming in oil and it was all stone cold as was the scrambled egg, ended up having a bread roll and butter for breakfast. The other days we decided to forgo the hotel breakfast as we obviously weren’t welcome and we went to the local garage and had a lovely breakfast at a very reasonable price. Other guests in our party also used the restaurant opposite the garage and had a lovely lunch there. Would not stay here again

Superb! We had lunch here one day whilst visiting nearby. All the staff were so friendly from the moment we arrived to the moment we left. The food was extremely tasty and plentiful and the setting and scenery are spectacular. We loved it so much we’re looking to stay here in the future.

The hotel is very clean and the grounds and views are really beautiful The staff are very loyal to the owners but do need to be more honest with their guests We arrived for a 5 night stay as a party of 21 guests all of whom were guests at a wedding being held locally The pool was filthy and not usable but we had not been notified that this was the case a number of reasons were given for this depending on who you spoke to,none of which I believe to be honest and when challenged I was told just because we advertise we have a pool doesn’t mean you can use it! The carpets in the communal areas whilst clean are threadbare and the furniture in our suite was tired and surfaces were stained The shower in the suite didn’t work on our first day apparently due to water pressure which I was informed affected other rooms but none of those in my party it took most of a day to resolve and I had to keep chasing it up nobody kept me informed WiFi is not available in any of the 38 rooms and can only be accessed if you are sitting in reception nor is there complimentary tea and coffee in the rooms both of which I find strange for a hotel graded 4 stars

This is not a 4 star hotel. It's 3 at the absolute best. Desperate need of modernisation. Rooms are tired. Walls are paper thin, can hear loos flushing in the rooms next door along with people talking and showers being run. No complementary coffee, have to buy coffee pods for the machine in the room from reception. And obviously no milk provided. No sun loungers available as assume early May is classed as out of season. So nowhere to sit and relax. We were up and out every day so didn't spend any time at the hotel. So for a place to just sleep it's fine. But we had no choice but go out. On a plus, hotel staff are friendly. Rooms are clean and spacious.

Really terrible hotel, this is 3 star at its best with 2 star food. There’s no working WiFi in rooms Food is terrible… I wouldn’t want to eat here ever again. sorbet on a salad? Unhospitable staff and rooms felt dusty Unclean glasses, and just overall a very out dated hotel that needs more than a refurb The gym is from the 1980s, equipment is very old Nice scenery but absolutely not at 4*

Stayed for 3 nights to attend a wedding at a nearby venue. The main public areas of the hotel are very nicely presented and clean. The terrace for breakfast and lunch is lovely, as are the gardens and pool are. Plenty of loungers. Beach towels are available to hire for by the pool. Breakfast had a decent selection and was good value. The lunch menu is lovely, and good quality. Also good value for money. The rooms are basic and a little tired, but most importantly they are clean and spacious and have a mini bar which is reasonably priced and a safe. Finally though, it’s the staff that really make this place. They were all, without exception, friendly, professional, helpful and just really lovely.

I stayed her twice over the period of 10 days. The staff here are tremendous; friendly and helpful The setting is great. Very lush. Good pool and gardens. The hotel rooms are dated but huge and more than adequate. Alhaurín is authentic Spain but 35 mins from Malaga and Marbella.

I’d highly recommend Alhaurín Golf Hotel & Resort if you’re looking for a beautiful hotel in the hills behind Mijas for a relaxing stay. The staff are amazing. Very friendly, helpful and always smiling. The swimming pool and other facilities are very nice. The restaurant serves a delicious breakfast for €10 and a three course menu for lunch €12. Everything is well priced. The salad photo was a starter! I was working this week and there is no WiFi in the rooms however you can get it for free in the reception and communal areas. There are a number of quiet areas both inside and outside. Rooms are spacious, very clean and have most things that you need. Thank you to the team there for making it a really pleasant stay. I’ll definitely be back! ❤️🇪🇸

We’re just coming to the end of a mini break here and it’s been wonderful. Having read other reviews, I’m, so the carpets may be a bit worn, the tv doesn’t have English channels, but you’re in Spain! The hotel is clean as a whistle and has lovely outdoor spaces. The breakfast at €10,00 is a bargain as the choice is plentiful and as for the lunch, they offer a €12,00 menu of the day and it was delicious. Our room was spacious and again, immaculately clean. OK, no one likes a shower curtain, but come on, it’s not the end of the world is it? WiFi was a bit erratic, but again, it was nice to have a break from all that save being glued to the beeping phone all day. Then right next door you have two great eateries and a fantastic golf course that will test you to the max. Late checkout to 3pm available giving us an extra session around the beautiful pool area and one more estrella for the road. I love it here!

This hotel is fraudulent and will literally steal your money. We paid for golf fees and they took double the amount. They promised to refund us the amount taken in error. Still waiting for a refund of our stolen money seven months later. Avoid this place at all costs.

We made a booking in November 2023 and were 'accidentally' charged twice for the same booking. Despite contacting the hotel immediately, who have confirmed the error, and despite repeated phone calls and e-mails we are still waiting for the refund of the money 3 months later. Reception claim they can do nothing, only the hotel 'administration' has the authority to make refunds. It is not possible to communicate with administration and we are just fobbed off with more excuses and false promises. Do not make a booking with this hotel if you don't want to be robbed!
