This is a fantastic little hotel situated in the heart of Amman with most of the main tourist attractions within walking distance . My room on the fourth floor was extremely comfortable and spotlessly clean . The staff all speak very good English and nothing is too much for them . They arranged a car to collect me from the airport and Imran was waiting for me at arrivals with a card with my name on . Imran helped me at one in the morning organize a Jordanian SIM card and on the late arrival at the hotel helped order some delicious food . My buffet breakfast was delicious. This hotel which is fabulous value has provided me with a first class polite and professional service from start to finish and as a 70 year old Irish traveler I am very happy to recommend Rafi Hotel .

Stayed with them for 2 nights. A great little hotel in down town Amman and a 5 min walk away from the roman amphitheatre. The rooms are quite spacious and have everything you need. We had a room on the 4th floor facing the street, so was a little noisy with cars beeping though! Staff were friendly but they are over priced for their tour or taxi services. We booked a taxi from a hotel down the road to the airport for 20 JOD and Rafi hotel are charging 30 jod!

I researched this hotel before booking it online. the main advantage is its location right in downtown. Aside from being right at the centre of Downtown Amman it is also sandwiched between two main attractions , the Roman Theatre and the Nymphaeum which are less than 5 minutes walk from the hotel.

I stayed there one day before going to jerisalem and 2 days after return from Israel. Hotel take care of my luggages in their store room and put it back to my room when I return from border before I arrived. Staffs has provided all informations that I need. Their breakfast is much way better than others downtown hotels which I had stayed before. Front desk Mgr AHMED and his stuffs Gaite take care of my early travel to border with lunch box which I had to eat until lunch. They have clean bedsheet and quite room. Even Cleaning ladies treated with smile and good english. At lobby, tea/water available 24/7.. Defintely, Rafi hotel will be my choice for my next trip to Amman

We have not stayed at Rafi, but we were 2 weary travelers who happened upon the hotel in search of tea. The manager invited us in and although he was closed due to COVID, proceeded to serve us tea and allowed us to rest in his lounge for a while. He then would take NO payment. If this is the type of kindness and hospitality he offers, we will certainly consider staying at Rafi is we return to Amman in the future. Thank you again for your luv and kindness

Abbiamo partecipato ad un viaggio organizzato, che terminava con due notti all’hotel Rafi di Amman. Non mi capacito delle buone recensioni precedenti. Abbiamo soggiornato in una decina e siamo tutti d’accordo nel recensire questo hotel come imbarazzante. Vecchio, cadente (cornici dei quadri con pezzi mancanti, pannello del soffitto aperto con cavi penzolanti, odore persistente di muffa in tutti gli ambienti, parti comuni e camere, una sensazione di poco pulito ovunque). La reception piccola ed in uno stato pietoso. Ci è stata assegnata una stanza al terzo piano, che affacciava sulla trafficatissima strada. Se contate che ad Amman c’è traffico a qualunque ora del giorno e della notte e che suonare il clacson pare uno sport nazionale, sembrava di stare a finestre aperte, da quanto gli infissi sono vecchi ed insufficienti. Visto lo stato generale dell’edificio e della stanza, abbiamo subito controllato il letto e preteso un cambio, perché le lenzuola erano sporche. La stessa sorte è toccata ad una nostra compagna di viaggio, che nel letto ha rinvenuto un tot di capelli. La nuova stanza al quarto piano, se non altro, non affacciava sulla via principale. Ciambella del water rotta, galleggiante dello sciacquone rotto, dalla doccia escono un rivolo d’acqua lungo il muro ed uno spruzzo direttamente in faccia. Condizionatore mezzo smontato. Frigo enorme (di quelli piccoli da cucina), ma completamente vuoto (senza acqua di cortesia). Scrivania mezza rotta. Arredi in generale vetusti e rotti o rovinati. La colazione, come ci si può aspettare da un posto del genere, è inesistente e pessima: solo pane da toast da scaldare in un tostapane vecchissimo e che non sapeva di pulito. Un formaggio ed un salume che nemmeno il peggiore dei discount vendono. Un solo tipo di marmellatina confezionata. Caffè cattivo (ma è difficile berne uno decente in Giordania, usano spesso quello liofilizzato). Andarcene è stato un sollievo, per quanto significasse che la vacanza era terminata. Soggiornarci è stato un vero supplizio. Lasciate ogni speranza o voi che entrate.

Stanza con un arredamento essenziale (anche il frigo) nel centro di Amman, molto vicina al teatro romano. Materassi buoni, c'è l'ascensore, buono anche il prezzo. Staff gentile e disponibile anche per lasciare lì le valige qualche ora. Prese funzionanti, anche di tipo europeo. Colazione inclusa abbondante.
