Gal Oya Lake Club

We enjoyed our two nights at lake club. The location- next to the safari entrance makes it the ideal place if you are looking to spend quality time looking for animals. The hospitality was warm very personalised and endearing- a big shout out to Samson who was attentive witty enganging and very efficient The canopy on the lake is a great place to relax or meditate All in all a super experience.we will certainly visit again.

We had delightful 2 nights stay and found the place both very beautiful and peaceful. The situation facing the lake was very serene and felt good for the soul. Very friendly and helpful staff, good food and many interesting places to visit near by.

Hidden gem in a rural area. We were 2 night is a tent with a beautiful view. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Anthony made our stay excellent The hotel and swimming pool is stylish decorated. In the neighbourhood you can visit Gal Oya np by boat or car. We also visited monastery in the neighbourhood which was very interesting.

The hotel is very beautiful, designed with excellent taste, situated in a rural, quiet village, bordering on a lake. The staff is very friendly, hard working and they are doing their utmost to make you feel at home. The restaurant staff, Anthony and Samson are the best. They fulfill all your wishes. I would highly recommend this hotel, it’s a bit British with beautiful crockery and very stylish grand rooms in a spacious garden.

One of the most amazing places in recent times where I had to visit in Sri Lanka. Absolutely incredible place on the lake, with a very beautiful area and architecture. Very friendly owner and staff. Very tasty cuisine. And in my opinion the most beautiful nature reserve nearby. Definitely a must visit and I can't wait to go back there again;.

We found this place last minute, the best boutique hotel in our summer holiday in Sri Lanka. It’s a hidden gem, the service is fantastic let by Mohan and team , the rooms are very well appointed, very clean and 6 star standard. The food was amazing nothing was a bother to the team!! A special mentions goes to Indika, chef Supun, Hashan and Kanthi for all their efforts to cook special food for us, to making gourmet pizzas. The dogs are lovely as well dusty (local breed) and Ronnie, we travelled with another family with 2 teenagers and a 7 year old. They really loved this place. This is an area with limited choices for good quality accommodation so this was a great find.

What an amazing place; the view, the hosts, the staff, the food. The place is an oasis of beauty. Waking up with a beautiful sunrise. Well organized safaris. Dinesh is a great guide. The ideal place to get away from the stresses of life. Highly recommended.
