Milkhouse Luxury Stay Amsterdam

These two American tourists cannot say enough good things about our stay at the Milkhouse. It is located in a beautifully renovated 17th century building right on a canal. It was so fun to open the door and step out into the heart of Amsterdam. It is within walking distance of the museums and wonderful shopping. Our hostess, Eline, made our visit special. She pointed us to local restaurants that were excellent and was helpful in so many ways. We felt like we were really part of Amsterdam. Every attention to detail was given to our impeccable suite. We will be back.

This room did not disappoint 🙂 we had a big few weeks of travelling from Australia, to Cyrus and Cyprus to London. Amsterdam was our final part of our trip. Room - perfect size for two people. Had everything you could possibly need. Bed - The bed & pillows were super comfy. Noise - You could hear people walking by. It’s not a busy street. I slept very well. Fridge - Fully stocked daily with wine, beer, fizzy drinks and snacks (free of charge). We took full advantage of this. Location - Perfect location. Walking distance to the hustle & bustle. Far enough to have some rest. Cleanliness - Cleaned daily. Cleaned very well. I’m a very messy person. Came back to find my clothes folded and stuff organised. Safety deposit box - We did not use this. Great the room has one. Customer service - Awesome! Sent a WhatsApp message with information about our stay. How to get to the property from the airport via train/tram. Provided lots of information on arrival about Amsterdam and recommendations given. Loved the room had lots of books & maps etc about Amsterdam. I felt in very safe hands knowing the family were close by. If we return to Amsterdam we would definitely come back to the Milk House. I would love to experience this accommodation in winter. Thanks for a great stay guys !!

We loved staying at B&B Milkhouse. It was the perfect location to walk to everything, and Eline was very helpful with recommendations and making sure the room was perfect for us. We would definitely stay here again on our next trip to Amsterdam, the room had everything we could have asked for and it was so lovely to be right on the canal in one of the nicest areas

Eline is the perfect host, she could not do enough to make our stay feel special, even offering to share her home with us when our flight home got cancelled. The room is amazing, the mini bar is replenished everyday free of charge, linen changed daily and the breakfast 1 minute walk away at Bagel n Beanz is fabulous.

A beautiful stay with all the amenities you would need. The property is located in the heart of the city where everything is a short walk away. The owner is very accommodating and the room is cleaned to a magnificent standard. Helpful host who is at hand. Most definitely a 5 star accommodation. Love this beautiful room.

I have just returned from a weekend away in Amsterdam with my husband and 2 sons (17 & 19) and staying at The Milkhouse was an absolute treat. The location is perfect, in the middle of everything and the rooms are incredibly clean, large and beautiful. The beds are to die for!!! Eline kept the mini bar fully stocked, which was a real surprise and much appreciated. And personal touches like leaving me champagne for my birthday was extra special. Would highly recommend and will definitely stay again :-)

Wow! Just Wow! The room is as beautiful as it looks on the picture. That door exits to a canal that is walking distance (or nearby trolly station) to all the action in Amsterdam. I wanted something cozy and European for my wife's surprise birthday trip, not just some branded hotel. When we arrived we were quickly met by Eline who owns the house with her husband and lives up stairs. The room was decorated with great care and style. I particularly like that she re-stocked the mini-fridge every day with six waters (two on the night stands), a few beers, and some wine. I have stayed in places twice the cost that only offered two small water bottles on arrival and that's it. This was a nice touch. Eline explained the area to us on a map and even tought us how to pronunce Keizersgracht. On my wife's birthday she left a box of chocolates, a card and some decoration on the bed. We really felt like guests in her home. It might be because it was winter, but the prices were quite reasonable. We will definitely be staying at B&B Milkhouse Luxury Stay again.

Perfect location! Perfect apartment! Amazing hosts! Beautifully cleaned daily! Biggest and comfiest bed. So spoiled with daily treats and mini bar. Outstanding accommodation. Walking distance to Rodkin metro. Shops and restaurants super close. The breakfast is the bagel and bean retail shop on the corner, which was fine- they don’t open until 9am on weekends.

I come to Amsterdam fairly regularly and try to stay somewhere different each time. This was by far my favourite (so far!). Beautiful room, the single most comfortable bed I have ever slept in. A fridge full of beer and chocolate bars (complementary), wine and Nesspresso machine. Shutters for the windows mean that although it’s really central, it’s dark and quiet enough to sleep off a hangover long into the afternoon. Run by the most friendly, helpful people who couldn’t do enough to make us feel welcome and comfortable. It’s in pretty much the best spot in town- 5 minute walk to the Rijksmuseum, 5 minutes in the other direction to De Wallen and is within only staggering distance of many of Amsterdams finest restaurants, bars, coffee shops and ‘coffee’ shops. I really Could not recommended staying here enough. Absolutely everything I wanted for a few days in town.
