Everything I needed, clean and tidy, hot shower and comfortable bed. Also included kitchenette with, fridge, cutlery, crockery, microwave etc.a good old fashioned motor lodge. Booking in and out was a simple process and staff were friendly and helpful. Able to leave luggage whilst I attended appointments and collect later in the day. Great service and close to shopping, buses and train station.

The outside of this building is so dirty I felt I needed a shower and a hair wash by the time I reached my room on the third floor.lots of ingrained dirt in passage ways and on walls. Cigarette butts and rubbish to be navigated. Am thinking the owners must be waiting for a developer to buy and knock down building and hence stopped cleaning ages ago. Reminded me of a 1970s government housing block. The unit was clean and neat inside. New towels daily. Had to pay $200 bond. Am thinking that is to keep out people who cannot afford that. Staff friendly. I would never recommend this place. Very disappointed. 3 night stay. Caravan park cabins on Nullabor better

Booked into hotel having paid for room in Advance. They then asked for a §200 deposit on the room either cash or credit card. I paid the deposit by credit card which they said they would refund writhing 5 working days. Three weeks latter I am still chasing them for refund and now having to try to get my credit card company to cancel the transaction as Canning Lodge have done nothing to cancel the transaction. Be warned don’t expect your deposit to be refunded

I was employed here the pay role officer yelled at me showing aggression I yelled back loose my job got treated unfairly with the other cleaners if U have a slight disability as I do DO NOT WORK HERE I'm glad I'm out not worth the hassle of rude people

Stayed in an apartment for 2 nights. Fairly clean and the bathroom looked like it had been renovated but hardly any utensils or cooking equipment in the kitchen. The electrical appliances were connected with double adapters or extension cords. The hairdryer unit found in most motels wasn’t attached to the wall. It was like everything was furnished with secondhand furniture. They charged a $200 bond to be returned in 7 days which wasn’t advised on booking.

Horrible stay Found a rotten burger in our microwave. Dirt everywhere. I have an auto immune disease, and coming up for medical attention. The smell had us coughing all night. And when we complained all they said was they will fix it….. as we were checking out. Hot water system would shake the whole unit The single bed in our room was so dented. Foot prints on the wall. Coffee stains on the wall. $200 bond for one night, returned in 5-7 business days. Ridiculous. Don’t stay here. Give us our money back.
