Kili Seasons Hotel

Kili Seansons we felt almost in in The Netherlands. A large library at the reception wit a lot of Dutch books. Friendly staff. Foods is excellent and made in a semi open kitchen. Seimming pool is available. You can charge your batteries if needed.

I stayed more than a week in this hotel with my partner. The staff is great, but the management of the hotel is very unpleasant: refusal to grant me even a 1 hour late check out I had asked (I had booked the hotel direct though, to favour them), the manager (Dutch or from South Africa) stopped saying hello or talking to us after my partner who is black checked in, the other manager and owner I think used the hotel for her personal use and flooded the swimming pool and the sundeck around with dozens of guests for a full-day party for her kid, making loud noises, and with numerous kids flooding all day the rather small swimming pool, as if it was not bothering the hotel gests! The day after the dining room was closed all day including at lunch because 20 professionnals were attending a seminar in the hotel. THIS IS NOT A HOTEL BUT THE PRIVATE PLACE USED BY THE MANAGERS FOR THEIR PERSONNAL NEEDS AND BUSINESSES OTHER THAT HAVING HOTEL GUESTS

During February 2024 for our 10 nights Calving Season Safari, we Stayed one night each - starting before our Safari and after our safari at Kili Seasons Lodge. Very vice place, well maintained grounds as well the property, very good and helpful front desk staff as well as the restaurant staff. Large room with reasonable facilities. One only negative- the property is about 30 minutes from the main road and believe me, if you plan to stay here before you start your safari, you will have an experience of African Safari Massage!!! The restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and dinner with good choices. We were happy with our choices - just avoid the Pizzas…… This was our fourth trip to Tanzania for Safari. We are 66 and 72 years old so - if this property is on or about five minutes driving distance from the main road, we would gladly stay here. Planning to go back to Tanzania again in 2026 February…

Nice and proper place, good swimmingpool, very good beds, very friendly management,＜, allowed us to stay until we had to depart for our evening flight. Perfect for a rest before and after visiting the game resorts.

Incredible facilities with the kindest service and staff. Very nice food. Everything’s prepared and handled with the maximum care. The atmosphere is very relaxing. It is the hotel to be without any doubt

I had a fantastic stay at Kili Seasons Hotel in Tanzania. From the attentive staff to the delicious food and excellent accommodations, it truly felt like an oasis of tranquility. With only 16 rooms, the hotel provided a peaceful atmosphere, along with a great pool, gardens, bar, and lounge. Danny, the manager, was exceptional. I will definitely choose Kili Seasons Hotel again on my next trip to Tanzania. Kili Seasons Hotel in Tanzania exceeded my expectations. its convenient location was a plus, only 30 minutes from Kilimanjaro International Airport. The small size of the hotel created a serene and intimate setting, and the staff provided exceptional service. Water is filtered all over this property, this added such a peace of mind. Totally recommended!

We had a lovely overnight stay at Kili Seasons hotel. The room was set up for us and we were greeted by the manager upon arrival. It is clear that they are trying very hard to please guests, so we found the overall stay to be very enjoyable. We had dinner and breakfast at the hotel, both of which were lovely. The dinner waiter was young but did a great job. The menu was balanced and the food very well presented and tasty. I would say that there is certainly more landscaping that can be done, but it is clearly a new hotel and the rooms/buildings have been beautifully renovated. I am sure it will hit its stride in time. Unfortunately, our shower drain flooded the whole bathroom while we showered and we also had no hot water in the morning, but otherwise, we have no complaints.

This was an amazing experience. Danny, the manager and his staff greeted us upon our arrival. The landscaping was beautiful, the building was clean and welcoming, the restaurant and bar were exceptional. His staff were warm and accommodating. The views were breath taking. Food was delicious.

Prachtige lodge maar client service is ronduit verschrikkelijk. Zou zo makkelijk 5 sterren kunnen zijn.... Positief: De lodge en de tuin eromheen is prachtig. Super luxe met een mooie grote kamer en badkamer. Het bed is zalig. Een eigen terrasje met uitzicht op mount Meru. Het is er brandschoon en op alle details is gelet qua interieur. Het zwembad is heel groot en ook mooi gelegen in de tuin bij bar en restaurant. Het eten daar is werkelijk fantastisch en de kok is een super vriendelijke dame. Ook de zwembad jongen en de mensen voor de tuin zijn heel vriendelijk. Tot zover het goede nieuws. Negatief: We voelden ons niet welkom hier. De meeste mensen zijn erg afstandelijk, wat een onprettig gevoel geeft. Er kan bij niemand een lachje af of iets wat je een fijn gevoel geeft. Dat is met name bij de mannelijke baliemedewerker en daarnaast bij de man bij het restaurant. Die vraagt ons de eerste avond na het diner hoe laat we ontbijten. (Ontbijt is van 7-10). We zeggen dat we dat niet weten. We zijn moe na een lange reis en zien morgen ochtend wel. Hij vraagt: om 7 uur? Weer zeggen we dat we dat niet weten. Hij vraagt: 8 uur? We zeggen nog een keer dat we dat morgen zien het is immers nog vakantie… Lunch is van 13-15 uur. Om 14.30 willen we graag een toetje bestellen, hij kijkt moeilijk. We zeggen dat we alleen maar iets kleins willen en dan brengt hij toch de kaart. Die avond bestellen we diner, voor en hoofdgerecht. Hij wil meteen weten of we een toetje we willen. We zeggen dat we dat nog niet weten. Deze man is niet geschikt om met gasten om te gaan. En geloof me we zijn heel makkelijke mensen. Perfectie is niet nodig en dingen kunnen misgaan. Maar het ontbreken van een lach en een beetje gastvrijheid is echt een no-go voor ons. We hebben via onze reisorganisatie een late check out (18.00) aangevraagd. We checken dit bij hen voor de zekerheid. Het zou geregeld moeten zijn. De man bij de balie weet nergens van. Hij gaat het met de manager overleggen en zegt ons de volgende ochtend (dag van vertrek) te zullen informeren. De volgende dag om 8 uur is hij er maar zegt niets. We gaan dan maar eerst ontbijten. Daar komt de vrouwelijke baliemedewerker langs die vraagt hoe het gaat. We zeggen dat we niet weten hoe het is met check out en dat het een beetje stressvol is om nu nog steeds niet te weten of we over een uur onze kamer uit moeten of niet. Ze zegt het te checken maar komt vervolgens niet meer terug. Voor het beeld: de lodge is verlaten en we zijn gedurende 2.5 dag de enige gasten… We gaan zelf maar weer naar haar toe en ze zegt het met onze reisorganisatie te moeten overleggen. Kortom ze zullen er wel geld voor willen… tot 14 uur mogen we in elk geval blijven. Als ze dat nou meteen gezegd hadden had dat stress gescheeld. Uiteindelijk heeft ze het geregeld en kunnen we blijven. Als we naar het restaurant gaan om 5 uur voor een laatste hapje voor we vertrekken gaat zij duidelijk naar huis. Ze vraagt ze of we gaan eten en zegt dat onze cha
