I had made a booking in the middle of last year through *********** for christmas 2021. I then recieved an email a couple of days later saying my booking had been cancelled. But I hadn't cancelled it. I contacted Simon to reinstate the booking he said he couldn't and to contact ***********. He then had a booking that had dropped into the vacancy left by the cancellation. *********** said it was a glitch on the computer . No one could give me any explanation. This had never happened to me before. We were left with no accommodation and a new search for somewhere to stay. Two months later I checked on Simons own hosting website and the accommodation had become available again. This time we booked directly and with my husbands details. At no point did we think the same thing could happen twice. It had! We had confirmation emails credit card details taken. The booking had been cancelled. It was only a chance phone call by my husband asking about pets. Did we find out. Again the property was booked by someone else and he refused to cancel their stay. Confused and disappointed the explanation from Simon was again completely disingenuous. We were offered a property 2 hours drive away. We explained after 2 years of not seeing family due to the pandemic, we needed to be situated in this area. Again we were left without accommodation during the Christmas period. Our treatment was incredibly poor and disatisfying. Thankfully it ended well and we found an amazing property. I won't be trying for a third time to book this property we all know how its going to end!
