Other than the location being far away from town, this is literally the best hotel in Penang so far. Location is also great for travellers who are travelling to airport which is about 10-15mins away

Quite near to airport and with many eateries nearby. It take around 10mins to Queenbay Mall by car.

A very relaxing stay at this hotel. Had a good rest and checked out the next day. All good!

Location-wise, this hotel has its pros and cons. It's conveniently close to the airport, but a bit of a GRAb from hotel to the bustling shopping areas and Georgetown. The reception staff, while polite, couldn't accommodate my request for a late checkout at 3 pm, despite the hotel not being at high occupancy. At breakfast, the waiters seemed disinterested in attending to customers, even though the dining area wasn't crowded. The breakfast spread i was one of the widest spread with live station, juices etc but the chef and staff don't engage and neutral to customer wants which was odd for a branded hotel like Amari. On the upside, the rooms, being new, were clean, though if you want a bathtub, you'll need to book a one-bedroom suite. However, the doorman and concierge were exemplary, going above and beyond to assist guests, even helping to check if a shop we were planning to visit would be open when we arrived.

The hotel is very new and clean. It is about 10 minutes from the airport so it is good for transit passengers.

It is recommended that do not stay in this hotel because it is ******* in the midnight 12am. I didn't expect something like this to happen to such a new hotel. When I told the front desk what happened, they said they would come to the room to check immediately, but no one was seen after nearly 10 minutes. After that, I decided to check out immediately. When I checked out at the front desk, I told them what happened and they acted like nothing happened. Really strongly not recommended.

A pleasant stay at Amari Hotel with good front desk service for check in and quick check out. The location is also very ideal for nice food and shopping.

Very nice hotel! Soft pillow and comfortable bed, like the design for the hotel and room. Perfect breakfast! Recommend coming over. Sure will come back again.

The hotel room is spacious, clean and well keep. Love the spacious lobby and aromatherapy. Making us relax and happy throughout the stay. Worth any single cent spent. Definitely will come back again.
