A Magical 50th Birthday Celebration at The Oberoi, Lombok I recently celebrated my 50th birthday at The Oberoi Beach Resort, Lombok from 8th to 10th September, and I can confidently say it was one of the most memorable holidays of my life. From the moment we arrived, the front desk team made us feel truly special, welcoming us with warmth and professionalism. The room service and housekeeping were impeccable—every request was met with a smile and executed flawlessly. What truly elevated the experience was the extraordinary hospitality. The staff went above and beyond to make the celebration unforgettable. I was surprised with beautiful room decorations, and during dinner, they arranged heartfelt birthday greetings, a live band, and even fireworks to mark the occasion. Every detail was handled with care and precision, making me feel incredibly valued and celebrated. The spa treatments were sublime, offering the perfect balance of relaxation and indulgence. Every team member—from the spa to the restaurant—was genuinely committed to making our stay exceptional. Thank you to the entire Oberoi Lombok team for creating such a magical experience. You turned a milestone birthday into a cherished memory that I will treasure forever.

L'hôtel se trouve sur la petite île de Gilit et est très paisible. Environnement du restaurant de l'hôtel La chambre et le service ne nous ont pas laissés insatisfaits, le personnel était super hospitalier. Le petit déjeuner était très varié chaque jour et nous avons été pris en charge à tous points de vue pendant les jours où nous y étions. La chambre 11 en particulier, avec sa belle piscine et sa pelouse, était le seul dommage que nous ne puissions pas y rester plus longtemps.

A cozy paradise with turtles by the shore and kind hearts💕🏝️ Our vacation in Gili exceeded all expectations, and this amazing hotel is a great credit for this. We found exactly what we were looking for: a quiet, cozy corner where every detail is created for relaxation. The premier room was made with comfort. The bed is incredibly comfortable and soft. The cleanliness was perfect, which was monitored daily, and the snow-white linen added a sense of homely comfort. A special delight is the bathroom with an open roof — taking a shower under the stars was magical.🛁 The hotel is surrounded by greenery and bright colors, 🌸 behind which you can see the tremulous care of the staff. And right across the street, literally 30 seconds away, begins the best beach with giant sea turtles! Seeing them every day by the shore is priceless.🐢 Furry residents: Cute red cats live on the territory, which create a special atmosphere of home warmth. Be sure to feed them when you stop here! And just behind the hotel there is a local shelter for cats. If you have the opportunity, take some food there or make a small donation. It's a small thing for you, but it's a huge help for them.🐈 Special thanks to manager Sam! This man has a big heart. 💖He was incredibly attentive, helped us solve any issues, and told stories about the island and local life with such love that we got into this place even more. Sam, we sincerely wish you a speedy recovery and good health! It is thanks to such sympathetic and kind people like you that such places become truly special.🫶 This hotel and the entire island of Gili gave us not just a vacation, but a feeling of harmony and warmth. We left with the feeling that we would definitely come back. Мы нашли именно то, что искали: тихий, уютный уголок, где каждая деталь создана для расслабления. Номер премьер был выполнен с комфортом. Кровать невероятно удобная и мягкая. Чистота идеальная за которой следили ежедневно, а белоснежное бельё добавляло ощущение домашнего уюта. Особый восторг это ванная с открытой крышей — принимать душ под звёздами было волшебно. Отель утопает в зелени и ярких цветах, за которыми виден трепетный уход персонала. А прямо напротив, буквально в 30 секундах ходьбы, начинается лучший пляж с гигантскими морскими черепахами! Видеть их каждый день у самого берега — бесценно. Пушистые жители: На территории живут милые рыжие котики, которые создают особую атмосферу домашнего тепла. Обязательно покормите их когда остановитесь здесь! А сразу за отелем находится местный приют для кошек. Если у вас будет возможность, отнесите туда немного корма или сделайте небольшой donation. Для вас это мелочь, а для них — огромная помощь. Отдельная благодарность — менеджеру Сэму! Этот человек с большим сердцем. Он был невероятно внимателен, помогал решать любые вопросы и с такой любовью рассказывал истории об острове и жизни местных, что мы проникались этим местом ещё больше. Сэм, мы всей душой желаем вам скорейшего восстановления и крепкого здоровья! Именно благодаря таким отзывчивым и добрым людям, как вы, такие места становятся по-настоящему особенными. Этот отель и весь остров Гили подарили нам не просто отдых, а ощущение гармонии и душевного тепла. Мы уезжали с чувством, что обязательно вернёмся. С теплом, Ваши гости из России.

La chambre était petite mais bien conçue. L'hôtel privilégie le respect de l'environnement, mais ne fournit pas de brosses à dents ni d'autres articles ; il faudra les demander. La propreté était cependant moyenne. Par exemple, les serviettes avaient une odeur désagréable, comme celle d'un torchon. De plus, il y avait des taches sur le lavabo qui n'étaient pas nettoyées. L'environnement de l'hôtel était agréable et la nourriture était acceptable. Le petit-déjeuner était plutôt occidental et indonésien, pas particulièrement est-asiatique. Le service était correct. À ce prix, on trouverait un meilleur service dans des hôtels en Chine ou à Bali.

Ce séjour a largement dépassé mes attentes. J'avais initialement réservé cet hôtel en urgence pour une seule nuit, mais j'aurais aimé y passer trois jours entiers ! Points forts : Un grand merci à « Superman » : Je tiens à remercier tout particulièrement mon chauffeur, Superman. Il était absolument incroyable ! Dès notre première rencontre, j'ai su que j'allais adorer cet hôtel. Il a rendu mon séjour fluide et chaleureux. La chambre et la vue : La chambre était incroyablement spacieuse. Bien que j'aie réservé une chambre avec vue sur le jardin, j'ai bénéficié d'un surclassement généreux avec une vue partielle sur l'océan. De la magnifique salle de bain au balcon, le paysage était à couper le souffle. Un service exceptionnel : Le service était irréprochable. L'équipe m'a contacté par WhatsApp et s'est montrée extrêmement arrangeante pour m'aider à réserver une excursion privée le jour même. L'expérience : Ils ont organisé ma prise en charge directement au port de Lombok. J'ai loué une GoPro par leur intermédiaire pour l'excursion et, malgré la pluie, l'équipe a été d'une gentillesse et d'une disponibilité remarquables. Restauration : J’ai savouré un délicieux dîner, et le petit-déjeuner du lendemain matin était exceptionnel, avec une vue à couper le souffle. Tout le personnel de l’hôtel était charmant et le souci du détail remarquable. Je regrette vraiment de ne pas y avoir séjourné pendant tout mon voyage. Je le recommande vivement !

We had a great time at Qunci Villas Resort. The public spaces are all super neat and well maintained, the staff is very friendly and accommodating, and between the endless options of excursios, experiences and selection of 4 restaurants you'll never feel bored. We stayed in the Qumbang Luxury villa and here are a few things and here are a few things you should know if you're considering the same. The villa is in a separate location from the main resort compound. It is across the main street and around 450 meters up the hill, so you have to ask reception for a ride every time you want to go between the resort and the villa or take a nice little walk. If you want to swim in the public pools as a resident of the uphill villa, the only restrooms available to you are in the restaurants. So it can get awkward slightly walking around dripping water or changing in there. Lastly, the resort is right on the middle of senggigi Beach, which is slightly narrower than the other parts which makes it inaccessible sometimes because the waves comes crashing against the resort shore. Which is fine because you can still walk to either side of the resort and access the other side of the beach beyond the resort grounds.

J'ai passé un excellent séjour à l'hôtel Aruna. Hôtel très propre et moderne avec un excellent service. Deux piscines, un grand restaurant, un délicieux petit-déjeuner, une très belle plage avec bar, et le meilleur, c'est le prix ! Très bon rapport qualité-prix si vous visitez chez vous, vous obtenez beaucoup de choses dans ce forfait. J'espère revenir de temps en temps. P.S. Merci à tout le personnel, vous êtes très gentils et serviables.

Very close to the harbour where all the boats come in, so it's an easy couple of minute walk once you arrive. The rooms are a bit dated and it hadn't been fully cleaned, there was hair on the bathroom floor and the sink clearly hadn't been cleaned properly, but aside from that it was generally clean and fine. The AC worked well and didn't turn off when you leave the room, which can be nice. The shower pressure was weak, which was annoying, to be honest. Bed was comfortable and clean. Staff were very welcoming and friendly, and they did seem to be proactive in maintaining the property in general. For the price I paid, it's pretty good value for money.

Location is great (near the night market and the harbour) however the room was not quite as it was advertised. When I booked it, the details clearly said that there is hot water and TV for my booked room type, but when I got there, the shower only has cold (brackish) water, and no TV Room cleanliness is also a bit of an issue in that while the room is ok to stay in, cleanliness could be further improved, especially around the bathroom area (stains on the wall and leftover sand on the floor should be cleaned regularly). Twice I also found dead cockroaches in my room The amenities are alright in the sense that they offer massages and wellness therapy at an affordable price, and can also help you with renting a bike/e-scooter, but that’s all there is. There is a small cafe/bar, but it looks quite spartan, somewhat untidy, and (to me) not very inviting to stop by for food/drink The staff are friendly but could be more professional, for example by waking up early (they were still sleeping at 8 AM) and being standby at the reception desk in case of problems, and not lounging around the pool while smoking I think for the price they charge there should be better alternatives around the island, so I’d think twice before returning here

Mixed feelings The room I initially booked (paid extra for AC and hot water) was just dirty and I could not control the AC bc remote wasn’t working so it was always on I could clearly see that no one had cleaned it (see first three pictures) and tbh bathroom felt unsafe with electric cables next to shower I asked to change and they tried to give to charge me extra for another room - I told them either I have what I paid for (AC and clean bedsheets) either it’s ok they pay me back and I leave The staff said I’d need to talk to the manager and when I said ok bring me the manager they never got them and offered me third room without paying extra (feels dishonest that they didn’t show me this one first) Bedsheets were okayish (so many weird stains, see pictures) but this one had no hot water - and they clearly said that I got downgraded. They wanted me to pay extra for the upgrade but do you think they paid me back the difference for the downgrade? Of course not (feels dishonest to charge extra for things you paid for initially but no pay back when you provide less than was paid for) I don’t know how much a hotel like this needs a pool (which was really nice by the way) when they’re so close to the beach. Maybe they should put the pool budget into clean rooms and hot water lol
