Chambres d'hôtes à Split

This is an intimate 5-room establishment situated amidst the alleys of the Old Town, hence cars cannot drop passengers at the doorstep. Easy enough to catch a shuttle bus for EUR 8 from the airport to the bus station at the port, from which a Makarun staff will meet you and assist you with your luggage to the hotel, a 10-minute walk away. Breakfast is a la carte, as is to be expected for such a small establishment, comprising 3 courses - pastry/toast, eggs of your choice with cold cuts, and a dessert, complemented by tea coffee and/or juice. Food was more than adequate in terms of quantity and quality. My room was comfortable enough, though 2 issues were noticeable: * Instead of a flat cotton bed sheet, there was a fitted sheet made of what seemed like jersey, and looked more like a mattress protector.This was pilled and coarse, in contrast to the far smoother cotton quilt cover. When I brought this to the attention of the staff they explained that this is standard for the hotel. Whilst it did not affect the quality of my sleep, the coarseness of the sheet wasn't entirely pleasant * In the bathroom, the shower was mounted at waist height, hence one either had to hold the shower in one hand, or, if there was a need to use both hands to wash, then one would have to crouch under the shower while it was in its holder. Not particularly convenient. Overall a comfortable stay in a convenient location, enhanced by the friendly and solicitous Ivan and Mario.

Toen we vorige review lazen konden we dat niet geloven. Maar we hebben het zelf mogen meemaken....wow, wat een hotel. Bij aankomst werden we zeer hartelijk verwelkomt door Željka en kregen we meteen een welkomstdrankje. We ontvingen een kaart van split met daarbij heel veel nuttige informatie. Ze begeleidde ons daarna naar onze prachtige suite. Niets kon je op de kamer aanmerken. Safe, frigo, waterkoker, haardroger,....alles was er!! Ons eerste ontbijt was een zeer aparte, maar positieve ervaring. Een selectie van lekkers werd ons aangeboden en bleek perfect gekozen. De bediening was 200% in orde en zoals enkelen voor ons al schreven....soms te, maar dat went gauw. Dag twee maakten we kennis met Marija. Zij schitterde evenzeer, net als Željka. De laatste dag mochten we Dea leren kennen. Zij evenaart de beide andere dames en heeft ons perfect geholpen met de problemen die we mochten ervaren met onze vliegtuigmaatschappij. Tijdens ons verblijf was de kamer elke dag piekfijn onderhouden. Dus onze dank ook aan de poetsdames!! Dit hotel is zeker en vast een aanrader en.....wij komen hier zeker nog terug!!!!

L'hôte est très amical et enthousiaste. Il présentera les restaurants délicieux et les tours autour de lui. Même si vous habitez dans les trois plus hauts étages, vous m'aiderez à prendre vos bagages. La maison est très proche des attractions, vraiment située au centre-ville, on peut dire que c'est là-bas que sont les attractions. Mais c'est relativement doux, mais pas grand problème si vous fermez la fenêtre. La chambre est très confortable et confortable, avec café et thé, vous pouvez laver directement avec un bouchon à eau chaude dans la chambre, et un réfrigérateur, pour boire à l'intérieur. La salle de bain est également très large, avec des toilettes, une lave-linge, un ventilateur, etc. Le logement offre également le petit déjeuner, à deux minutes du restaurant proche, le petit déjeuner est disponible à trois plats, le thé et le café sont également disponibles. En conclusion, outre le troisième étage, il est fondamentalement parfait.

I had a fantastic stay! The property was super easy to find using Google Maps, and the receptionist was kind and very helpful right from the start. My room was spacious, clean, and looked exactly like the photos — no surprises. Bonus: the TV has Netflix! The area around the hotel is peaceful and quiet. I could occasionally hear other guests closing their doors, but otherwise it was very calm. It’s about a 12–15 minute walk to the Old Town, which made it easy to explore while still being able to come back to a quiet, relaxing space. I’d definitely recommend this hotel and would happily stay here again!

Excellent location right in the centre of great restaurants and the tourism hotspots. The room and bathtub are great. Good wifi and television box for plenty of viewing options. Rooftop garden/outdoor area is amazing at sunset (see attached photos). A couple of things to prepare yourself for which are out of the control of the hotel owners: there are 90 steps to the floor where the rooms are so would not recommend if you are physically challenged, and the restaurants in the square do have music till quite late which is audible in the rooms so light sleepers may like to try ear plugs. Sound did not bother us and the walk up the stairs was good for our health! The whole of the city has bell ringing at various times during the day (7am, Midday, 8pm) No need to set an alarm to wake up in the morning!

While the host has a great attitude, is genuinely helpful, and offers a welcoming touch with free brandy shots, the property falls far short of expectations for the price. Guests should be warned in advance that it is located on the 2nd/3rd floor with no lift, making carrying heavy luggage up 2.5 flights of stairs a major issue. On top of that, the Wi-Fi was unusable during my stay; the host is aware of the problem but hasn't fixed it, even though a basic Wi-Fi 6 or mesh router upgrade would easily solve it. Ultimately, you are paying 5-star hotel prices for a B&B experience with no reception desk, no lift, no luggage assistance, and an early 10:00 AM check-out.

自駕遊可直接泊旅館樓下，房東勁nice, 早餐超豐富。係個入口要行樓梯，肥少少要就住行。 由旅館步行去海邊的主要景點e.g. 戴克里先宫都只係20 分鐘，call uber去花十幾分鐘，約EUR10,可自行選擇前往方法。 美中不足係個wifi都幾弱，要靠自己data.

Pro - very close to the Golden Gate and is easy to find. Check in is straightforward. The room is on the first floor above ground so it wasn't the most difficult thing to lift our luggages up. Con - (1) the actual room looks nothing like the pictures online. The online pictures (taken with wide lens mode) show the room to be much larger and brighter, whereas the room is in fact very small and relatively poorly lit. For one, the bed is literally two footsteps away from the door, and we were struggling to find space to open our luggages. (2) One of the beds in the room is in fact a sofa bed, but the property did not declare this when we booked. We spent a lot of time trying to book places which do not use sofa beds but actual beds, and so we can't help but feel that we were misled and misrepresented to. (3) There is a bit of noise. The property is right next to the road and near a pub with some rowdy youths at times. (4) Facilities are minimal. There is only one chair, and the table is very small. Everything else is basic. Nothing luxurious about it despite its name and the photos. (5) There is no lift at the property. We would not have chosen this property if we had a second chance.

La chambre n'a pas de vue sur la mer. Il n'est pas comme un hôtel, plus comme une villa, la sécurité n'est pas très élevée, car il a 2 entrées. L'entrée de la piscine, tout le monde peut l'accéder sans problème. La piscine était assez sale, elle a beaucoup de bugs flottant, et elle n'a pas été régulièrement nettoyée par le personnel. Il a beaucoup de restaurants à proximité, et la qualité et le prix sont meilleurs que les repas touristiques de la vieille ville. Le premier jour, le deuxième jour, ils nous ont informés qu'il était réglé, mais il a encore un peu de problème de déclin soudain. Je pense que la Croatie n'a pas de réglementation concernant le contrôle à durée déterminée des ascenseurs, car elle n'a pas de certificat dans le ascenseur à l'intérieur ou à l'extérieur. Si l'hôtel a montré 3 étoiles et le prix est plus bas, je le ferais. Le côté droit du balcon a un grand champ de tennis au niveau 2nd-floor, il est très proche, et il est assez annonçant que les gens puissent regarder facilement. La suite n'est pas de 4 étoiles. Le verrouillage de la porte frontale est nouveau, il est sûr, mais une installation d'électricité n'a pas été correctement installée, il semble que vous puissiez les tirer facilement. La boîte de sécurité électrique n'est pas fonctionnelle avec le mot de passe, l'hôtel a laissé une clé pour l'utilisation. Le petit déjeuner est bien géré pour les clients avec un tour précoce, ils peuvent organiser un petit déjeuner avec 1 fruit, 3 pains et 1 yogurt à 06h à 07h.
