SSeat 2AThis is an intimate 5-room establishment situated amidst the alleys of the Old Town, hence cars cannot drop passengers at the doorstep. Easy enough to catch a shuttle bus for EUR 8 from the airport to the bus station at the port, from which a Makarun staff will meet you and assist you with your luggage to the hotel, a 10-minute walk away.
Breakfast is a la carte, as is to be expected for such a small establishment, comprising 3 courses - pastry/toast, eggs of your choice with cold cuts, and a dessert, complemented by tea coffee and/or juice. Food was more than adequate in terms of quantity and quality.
My room was comfortable enough, though 2 issues were noticeable:
* Instead of a flat cotton bed sheet, there was a fitted sheet made of what seemed like jersey, and looked more like a mattress protector.This was pilled and coarse, in contrast to the far smoother cotton quilt cover. When I brought this to the attention of the staff they explained that this is standard for the hotel. Whilst it did not affect the quality of my sleep, the coarseness of the sheet wasn't entirely pleasant
* In the bathroom, the shower was mounted at waist height, hence one either had to hold the shower in one hand, or, if there was a need to use both hands to wash, then one would have to crouch under the shower while it was in its holder. Not particularly convenient.
Overall a comfortable stay in a convenient location, enhanced by the friendly and solicitous Ivan and Mario.

FFrancisI really enjoy staying here. The location is perfect for me. As a big beach person, the hotel is close to Bacvice Beach, it’s like a 8-minute walk. And it’s like 13-minute walk to Diocletian's Palace and the pier for my boat trip. The owner also recommended some good restaurants for us to explore and asked us constantly if we need suggestions to do in Split. They are really helpful!! The room is also really clean and I love the fact that many towels are provided in the room. Also, when I had told the owner we would check out at 10am the day before check out, my friend suddenly had a diarrhea and puked in the morning, the owner was so nice that allowed us to check out at 11am instead!

LLC678La location est très bonne dans la région du palais, mais elle peut être très confondue parce que l'hôtel dispose d'une annexe différente qui est à quelques minutes à pied. Et il pourrait être difficile de trouver la localisation de l'annexe, car celui que je reste en nom de Villa Donbric ne pouvait pas être trouvé sur la carte de Google. En outre, puisque nous avons un couple de bagages importants, nous cherchons un hôtel avec ascenseur, mais l'annexe que j'ai séjourné n'a pas facilité un. (Je ne suis pas sûr que l'autre annexe a une ou pas) La chambre est plus petite que je ne l'attendais, c'est un peu désordre quand nous ouvrerons deux bagages ensemble. Le petit déjeuner est servi et bon, avec différentes options d'œufs. Je suggère que l'attention supplémentaire est meilleure lors de la réservation de l'hôtel sur la localisation et de la préoccupation des bagages.

IInvitéExcellent hôtel, suffisamment proche de la vieille ville pour une courte promenade jusqu'au palais, mais suffisamment éloigné pour qu'il soit toujours calme et facile d'accès. Le personnel est super et le fait de pouvoir garer la voiture de location pendant la nuit dans le garage a fait toute la différence. Je reviendrai et séjournerai à nouveau ici.

DD. CooperUn séjour agréable à l'hôtel Briig. Un emplacement idéal près d'une plage locale avec un accès facile au port et à la ville en moins de dix minutes à pied.
Des chambres très spacieuses avec un lit XL super confortable et des articles de toilette design mis à jour dans la salle de bain ainsi qu'une douche incroyable.
Une petite piscine sur le toit fonctionnelle et une terrasse ensoleillée et un joli jardin pour prendre le petit-déjeuner et des boissons.
En tant qu'hôtel design, il serait peut-être encore mieux s'il était réservé aux adultes... mais je comprends que cela soit très subjectif.

IInvitéThis was a rushed booking due to our original hotel not having our booking. Normally I spend considerable time going through reviews etc, but with the Azur Palace (hotel?) it was a case of needs must.
Unfortunately although we had booked a deluxe double in our opinion it didn’t match similar 4 star hotel deluxe rooms. I mentioned this to reception but they weren’t really interested.
Appreciate we were virtually in the centre of split, with space at a premium, but the view of a small alley with graffiti an empty minibar, not even plugged in, an irritating dim light, I think from the a/c that ensured the room wasn’t completely dark. After trying to close it down without success I went to reception, which had a note with a phone number to call. I gave up went back to the room and tried throwing a towel over it.
Also no bar, although there are a few within couple of minutes.
Overall disappointing.

MMark ElshoutExcellent location right in the centre of great restaurants and the tourism hotspots. The room and bathtub are great. Good wifi and television box for plenty of viewing options. Rooftop garden/outdoor area is amazing at sunset (see attached photos). A couple of things to prepare yourself for which are out of the control of the hotel owners: there are 90 steps to the floor where the rooms are so would not recommend if you are physically challenged, and the restaurants in the square do have music till quite late which is audible in the rooms so light sleepers may like to try ear plugs. Sound did not bother us and the walk up the stairs was good for our health! The whole of the city has bell ringing at various times during the day (7am, Midday, 8pm) No need to set an alarm to wake up in the morning!

AAirborn63L'hôtel est situé à proximité de l'hôtel, à environ 30 minutes de l'aéroport, mais ne pas vous laisser perdre de vue.
Les chambres sont propres, grandes et le service est grand déchet. Lieutenant lit. La chambre dispose de chaudière et de réfrigérateur qui est utile. Petite marche du port et vues qui était agréable la nuit avant le sommeil. Lit confortable. Sensation générale de haut niveau.
Le petit déjeuner et les repas peuvent être obtenus dans les environs, pas beaucoup de places voulues seulement de l'argent que j'ai trouvé annoncé et les coûts de nourriture et de boissons étaient beaucoup plus élevés que prévu. Cela n'a rien à voir avec l'hôtel, mais il vaut la peine de mentionner que l'augmentation a été considérable depuis l'introduction de l'euro il y a deux ans.

-Staff was very absent and you need a key to get in the hotel and in room. we forgot our key in our room and realised after dinner around 11pm and even though staff should be in hotel until 3am : no one was there . We had to contact by phone only but being Canadian we didn’t have a working phone . We almost slept outside. . We got help from neighbour restaurant.
- staff supposed to start again at 7 am ; we left at 8 without checking out as again there was no one .
- my daughter got her EarPods stolen in our room we could locate them with the Apple app and could see exactly where they were . Again no staff at all in hotel to tell them cleaning person stole. (We are SURE 100% they were stolen as they didn’t leave the room we never brought electronics with us anywhere and the location they were at was 7km away from hotel where we had never been.
- they offer steaming service, I wanted to use it but they told my it took 1 week to fet my clothing back .. we were there for 4 days. Staff offered to bring a steamer to my room so I could do it myself . They never brought it…
-there was a beautiful terrace on the 4th floor but we only found out about it on our last night .
- we wanted to go to a beach and the staff said it was a 45 min walk and that’s only way to go. We walked . Finally when we got there .. we could have takes a trolley for 3euro …. We took it to come back.
